Physical Description:
At his full height Kevin stands at a meager five feet tall, which he can't fill out with muscle or fat really. This scrawniness isn't helped at all by his horn rimmed glasses, which he only occasionally wears, the rest of the time he wears contacts which bother him greatly (Which would be why he only wears them sometimes.). The glasses magnify his rather beady amber eyes. As they say, eyes are the windows to the soul. In this case, Kevin's soul is rather beady and amber.

One of the more recognizable things about Kevin is his trademark dark green hair, which he's always dyed, even at a young age. For some reason he feels the green suits him, even though it really doesn't. His skin is about the same shade as sour cream, and sunburns about as easily as paper burns. Which is quite easy. Especially if your Kevin with matches. :O

Kevin has a rounded face, with a slightly button nose. Overall it doesn't really stick out that much, which is all the better when you need to get out of stuff. He usually walks with his head down, so no one can get a good look at him. He's the type that would wear a shirt that says 'You're going to look stupid later when the police artist asks you to describe my face and you say you just read his shirt' or something to that effect.

Personality:
Kevin is a strange kid. He is very nerdy, and enjoys reading and playing role-playing games. Though, Kevin could barely be considered a nerd. Kevin aims to, in his life (Or death if he dies and becomes a ghost), piss off every person that comes into contact with him. This is not hard for Kevin, as he can quickly find a persons fears and weaknesses and exploit them. This closes off what few romantic (Or even not so) relationships he ever may have had. Kevin can understand quite a lot of French, but can only speak a small amount of it.

Weaknesses:
Kevin has a case of heterophobia (Fear of the opposite sex), which can be rather odd. He often hisses when females get near him, even if he doesn't realize it. Hopefully he'll learn to get over it rather quickly. On a slightly ironic note, it seems that whenever he runs away from a girl, he announces to anyone nearby rather loudly that he is not gay. He must be asexual. He also has a slight case of agoraphobia (Fear of open spaces), mainly as he spends most of his day locked up in his basement or in crowded places annoying people. Kevin is not very strong, and would hands down lose in any sort of fight (Unless running away was an option.). Kevin is anti-social, and can’t tell when he’s crossed the line, unless he’s looking to cross it. He has asthma. He doesn’t have very much common sense, and usually gets in trouble for it. He cannot cook to save his life (In other news, he knows how to light a fire with just an egg, a frying pan, and a stove top!). Kevin’s aim is horrible.

Strengths:
Kevin is very intelligent and witty, but he usually doesn’t let people know he’s smart, in other words he’s a smart-aleck but he’s playing dumb. He has a tendency to be able to read most people like a book. He can’t be beaten in strategizing or role-playing games. He knows how to press peoples’ buttons. He is very good with muggle technology.

Character History:
Kevin has lived a fairly normal life considering how he was raised (His father chasing count Chockula and his sister constantly sabotaging him somehow or another). Though, he was raised slightly oddly by wizard standards as he was raised in a low magic environment; this has caused him too know a lot about muggle technology, and love it. Because of that, he always wears a digital watch, even to Hogwarts where it is rendered useless.

When he was nine, he managed to burn down his compartment complex because he decided he wanted to make eggs; and rather than asking anybody, he simply turned on the oven, put an egg in the frying pan, and left it there for half an hour. Somehow, he managed to make it light up in fire. He then rang the fire alarm and grabbed the egg (Burning his hand in doing it). Immediately afterwords, he saw Fally Feagreen emerge from her house to see what Kevin had done this time, taking advantage of this he ran over to her and shoved the badly burned egg into Fally’s mouth, which made her have to go to the hospital to get her stomach pumped.

When he was ten and going to a muggle elementary school, he had just watched an old muggle movie about vampires; this caused him to become very paranoid that the girl from above, Fally, was a vampire. He then decided she was and hid in her locker with a plastic stake (He stole it from his family’s tent set). After a short amount of time, she opened her locker and he pounced on her, missing her heart by a few inches. As she fell backwards, her fingernails (Which at this time in her life were sharpened somewhat) managed to make a deep enough impression in Kevin’s throat to make him bleed, quite a bit actually. They both ended up crawling away in opposite directions hurling insults at each other with what little breath they had left. Some how, they both managed to survive that incident.

Homeland: He was born in England while his family was on vacation, but lives in the United states (In California and across the street from another student, Fally Feagreen.)

Family:

Kevin’s mother, Xana Prefect-Guity went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw and was a good student, or she supposedly was as she became a prefect (Not the family name) and graduated with fairly good grades. She works for the ministry of magic, but has a second job as the owner of the ‘Glittering Blade’ comic and costume shop. As a side effect of this job, Kevin grew up loving muggle comics, and always went all out on his Halloween costumes.

Kevin’s father, Onju Prefect, went to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic for four years, but finished his schooling at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was sorted into the house Slytherin, and did mediocre at best work. He graduated with grades that pretty much left him two job options (Troll communicator and the one doctor that doesn’t approve of a product). Instead of choosing one of those, he decided to continue his family business. Vampire hunting.

Onju and Xana met after a game of Quidditch in an argument about who would win the world cup. After that, they kept in contact and eventually married. After a while they had two children; Kevin and his sister.

Kevin’s sister, Tricia Prefect, also known as Trillian or Trill to family and friends, is an interesting child. She does not have her brother’s anti-social tendencies and is more of a social being. She is more of a tom-boy, and could (If she wanted to that is) beat her brother to the ground in a fight; not that she would or anything. She is going to be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Kevin’s second year as her parents don’t want to separate her from her ‘oh so loving’ brother.

If you were to trace Kevin’s family tree up far enough, you would find he is nearly a direct descendant of Abraham Van Helsing on his paternal side. This pretty much chose what Kevin’s career is. Assuming he doesn’t manage to get himself killed before he gets out of Hogwarts. So far, Kevin has been fairly receptive to this and has even tried killing a vampire.
