[Heaven Leigh Driscol]

In the corner of the Cafe, Heaven sat sipping coffee. Today her Grandfather had offered to watch Alessa while she went out and did some errands, and just plain relaxed. It had been a long time since she had been out on her own. Usually her daughter was by her side, and it was almost weird to not feel the 6 year old's prescence by her side. But at the same time it was somewhat nice.

Heaven continued to sip her coffee and watched the door, just observing the people who came in. She couldn't remember the last time she had simply had time to just sit and watch people. To sit and relax, and sip coffee like this. She was enjoying it though. She continued to watch the door, and was surprised to see a face come in, one that she recognized from a picture someone had shown her.

Ethan had just left work, tired and exhausted. That's what happens when you're the head of more than on department in a hospital. Broom crashes, animal attacks, badly worked charms. He had seen it all today, and his only hope was that he could make it home without anyone else throwing up on him.

But first, coffee, because you have to be awake to make it home.

Ethan ordered a cup and sat down at a nearby table to wait for it. He noticed Heaven glancing at him, and not knowing who she was simply gave her a half smile and a little wave before turning his attention back to the hustling and bustling behind the bar, seeing if he could spot his drink.

Heaven grinned to herself, grinning even more as he waved. She sat there for a moment, pondering if she should go talk to him. Finally, she shrugged herself thinking, 'Ah, what the hell, what could it hurt?'.

Cup of coffee in hand, Heaven stood up and walked over to Ethan's table, cradling the hot cup in her hands. She offered him a smile and spoke up, slightly nervously, "Hello. Ah.. you don't know me, but I kind of know who you are." She paused, "Okay that sounds creepy. Um, I'm Heaven Leigh Dreadlow, I'm a friend of Caryn's. She mentioned you and showed me your picture when I was at her house the other day. You're... Ethan, right?"

"Oh, well nice to meet you. Yeah, I'm Luca's brother." He nodded.

"Why don't you sit down? Caryn would absolutely kill me if I sent you back to the other table."

Heaven laughed slightly, nodding and slipped into the chair across from him, setting her cup down on the table, "She's a bit of a firecracker isn't she?" Heaven chuckled. "So you're ah- a healer, too, right?"

"She sweet. My brother is lucky to have her." Ethan nodded. "Much better than some of the bimbos he's been with, but then again he wasn't all that picky in school."

"Yeah, I work at St. Mungos. What do you do?" He asked.

Heaven nodded, "Oh yes, I adore Caryn. She was like, my closest friend in school shes such a nice person."

"Yeah, I work at St. Mungos. What do you do?" He asked.

She grinned slightly, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear, "Well, for the last 6 years, I was just a stay at home mother, and now I own and run an Orphanage out of my house. My father died a month ago, and I inherited his huge ass manor- and so my Grandfather and I turned half of it into and Orphanage." Heaven explained.

"Wow. Driscol Orphanage. I don't know why I didn't put two and two together when you told me your name. I'm sure Caryn and Luca are very supportive -- what with Julie living in public care for a while."

He stretched and thanked the waitress as his coffee was finally brought out.

"So um, you mentioned you're a mother. What does your partner do?"

"Wow. Driscol Orphanage. I don't know why I didn't put two and two together when you told me your name. I'm sure Caryn and Luca are very supportive -- what with Julie living in public care for a while."

Heaven nodded, grinning still, "Yes, that's the one."

"So um, you mentioned you're a mother. What does your partner do?"

She snorted and laughed, "No partner.. Alessa's father has been out of the picture since he found out he had children on the way." She said. Although she laughed about it, it was clear this bothered her, and she looked even more agitated when she said children. Heaven waved her hand slightly, as if to brush the thought away, "It's just me, my Grandfather, my brother Colin and my daughter."

"That's awful. Different blokes take the news in different ways I suppose. Clearly didn't know what he had, that one. Sounds like you've got a good support system going, though. That's a relief."

She nodded, forcing her smile to stay on her face, "It's all good, I'm fine without him, and Alessa thrives having my brother and Grandfather around her as well. It was a bit hard the first few years. Once I turned 18 my Father stopped providing me an allowance and what not so we were a bit poor, but he shockingly left me and Colin everything. I got the manor, and half the money left over from his estate- which was more than enough to take care of Alessa and I and a few more people the rest of our lives." Heaven explained.

Heaven shrugged, "At any rate.. I'm glad to see the manor going to use. It's frivolous for a family of four to have that huge house to themselves."

"It's very selfless of you, really. Not many people would divide up a mansion for orphans. You'll have to alert me -- the exact moment you're available." He grinned, hitting on her poorly in his very tired state.

Heaven smiled and shrugged, "No need for us to have ALL that space not being used." She tilted her head, acting clueless as his remark, "Available..?" She asked, pretending to look puzzled.

"For a date perhaps." Ethan suggested further as he took a long sip from his coffee.

A smile played upon her lips, and Heaven let there be a bit of a pause before she responded, "That would be nice.. Let me know a good time for you and I can ask Grandfather to watch Alessa that night." She suggested.
