Professor Rowe had navigated the crowd of students in the corridor, and he and Josh had an uneventful trip to the edge of the grounds. Not wanting to Apparate the stretcher, he lifted Josh off of it. Instructing him not to let go, Professor Rowe Apparated them to the Reception Area of St. Mungos.

There wasn't anyone in line, though there was a man nearby with a cauldron affixed to his head. He carried Josh to the witch at the desk.

"Professor Josef Rowe from Hogwarts. I have a student who suffered a fall from the Astronomy Tower and is paralyzed from the waist down. I want him seen immediately!" he said urgently.

Josh had no choice but to let all this happen around him. Well it wasn't like he could just get up and walk away was it?! He looked at Rowe as he spoke to the person at the desk seeing him more and more as a father figure than prehaps would have been appropriate. After all Rowe was probably only doing what any other teacher would have done though something made Josh grow slightly more attached to him than he was to his own father. In Josh' house back home Josh acted like he was the dad, constantly taking care of his father. Now Josh was seeing something in Professor Rowe that he wished he could have seen in his own father at least once. Josh looked down at the ground, not knowing what else to do and sighed discontentedly. He had no control over the situation and he hated every minute of it. The person who had done this would certainly have a lot to answer for... Just as soon as Josh had found out who had done it. Josh shook his head slightly trying not to think of it though it was exceptionally hard when he was constantly reminded of it both by his surroundings and the lack of feeling in his legs. Josh remained silent, just hoping that not many people back at Hogwarts had seen him on the stretcher. He didn't idealy want everyone to know, but then again if he staid like this then people would soon know about it anyway. Josh quickly yanked himself out of these thoughts and tried to focus more on what was happening now rather than what minght happen.

ooc: Okay... in the infirmary, Violet fell asleep through the night and was taken out by a professor/nurse back to her dorm... It passes so quick I missed posting!

Holding he midnight cloak to her breast, Violet walked in to the reception at St. Mungos. She glanced around nervously at all the people, Violet hadn't been here before and didn't normally visit public hospitals at all. But this time, she felt she had to. In the infirmary, Violet had falled asleep by Josh's side through the night and found herself back in her own bed in the morning. She returned to the infirmary and found he was gone and was actually worried for him.
True Violet had only met him once, but it meant a lot to her. Violet had a 'thing' for wanting to help and support people she liked, even if she only met them briefly.
Now, she walked up to the desk and spotted the professor that had been with Josh and Tane back in the infirmary and made her way over to him. When she was closer, she noticed Josh and sighed with relief, he looked alive to her and that was the most important thing, for now. She stood beside Josh and the professor, as if waiting for something, or someone to say something that would allow her to talk. When she managed, she smiled at both Josh, in a friendly way, and the professor in a thankful way.

"Miss Kurse," Professor Rowe started suspiciously. "How did you know we were here?" He had been hoping to avoid student involvement until he was sure what was wrong with Josh. Of course, he hadn't counted on Violet--she seemed to break the mold when it came to students. He sighed in resignation; as long as Josh was all right with her being there, he didn't feel he should say much. At least I know she cares about him, he thought, realizing how rare that really was amongst Hogwarts students--especially Slytherins. He looked at Josh questioningly, making sure he wasn't bothered by Violet's presence--Surely not, he thought, deciding that he appreciated Violet's concern and determination. She reminded him of himself--he would've been at his friends' side no matter what when he was her age.

"Hey Violet." Josh said flatly as he looked at her with a forced smile. He infact wasn't so sure he wanted Violet to see him this way but seeing as she was here, who was he to turn her away. After all she was just one of his very few friends. She had done an immense thing for him tht time in the wood so it didn't seem right that he should push her away. "How long does it take to get a doctor around here?" He asked turning his attention back to the person at the desk. He thought about making another slightly more sarcastic remark but couldn't seem to muster any in his head. "So Violet, what brings you here?" He ask playfully trying to make light of the situation even though it was entirely possible he may never walk again. Well he'd have the rest of his life to worry about that if it happened, for now he just focused on the fact he wouldn't have to attend classes or talk to any of those stupid people back at Hogwarts, not that the hospital was much better than the school, infact, in many ways it was worse, sick people everywhere didn't really float Josh's boat but hey he didn't really have much of a choice, it wasn't like he could just walk away.

The gaze from the professor made Violet feel a little unwelcome at first, but she soon forced herself to be okay. It wasn’t that she wasn’t okay, just that she had a brief moment where she didn’t want to be here. Then again, of course she wanted to be there. After a brief moment, lost in controversial thought, Violet turned to the professor directly.
“Someone in the infirmary, they said Josh had come to St. Mungos,” She answered truthfully. So far this professor seemed a little strange to Violet and she was a little weary in his presence, nevertheless she managed a soft half smile, in a sort of hidden sadness.
When she heard Josh, she turned her attention to him. She had to admit, he didn’t look okay if that was anything! But after hearing what had happened, Violet doubted he would be able to run around the grounds the next day anyway. “Hey Josh” She greeted softly, noticing the lack of emotion in his own tone. When Josh’s attention was drawn elsewhere, Violet glanced around the reception area, wishing to herself that they would just hurry up and help him.
Then she heard his voice again, this time directed back at her. The gaze of her soft, sparkling eyes returned to Josh, “Take a guess” She said lightly with a playful smile. “I must say, it isn’t everyday that someone falls from the astronomy tower!” She added after a moment, with a small laugh – somewhat scared of making too much sound while she was around the professor and Josh. It had to be said, Violet wasn't like most other Slytherin girls, a plain slutty bitch. People who met her didn't always assume that she was actually from that house, but one who saw her in her reflected mood would agree that maybe she did have a place in the house. Nevertheless, her other side only came out when prompted or tempted.
There she stood, gazing down at Josh with her bright eyes, her dark locks falling softly, perfectly, elegantly down her shoulders.

Josh continued to look around making sure not to hold eye contact with anyone, not even Violet. "so..." He trailed off agin not knowing exactly what to say in these situations. "Er..." He said trying to think of a topic other than himself. He was tempted to ask Violet who had done this to him but two things quickly occured to him, he couldn't ask her infront of Porf.Rowe, and also she may not know. HE thought about it though for a while longer and couldn't really remember meeting anyone who had instantly disliked him except for... Silver. To him it made sense but to others it may not. She must have done it. He thought to himself as he frowned now forgetting Violet was even there. I'll get her for this... He thought to himself as he slowly got more and more angry.

Even Josh knew Violet couldn't actually hear thoughts, but she could sense emotion. When Josh started to get angry, Violet shook her head a little. It may have looked like she was answering his thoughts, but in reality she was just wanting him not to get too angry.
"Don't waste your energy Josh!" She said, her voice still quiet, she didn't like the hospital, too many people, too many unwell people. For now she had avoided sensing any pain that came from any people around the hospital, but then again, there could have been some sort of magical protection at St. Mungos which meant minds of doctors and patients couldn't be read to avoid problems.
"You have to get better!" She continued. Noticing that Josh wasn't making eye contact, Violet sighed a little and glanced over to the lady sitting behind the desk. Briefly, her bright eyes darkened in a particularly threatening way as she shot the secretary a dangerous glare before looking round again.
"Have you been here before Josh?" She asked him curiously. Maybe he had been hurt before and this place didn't seem so strange to him? Violet wasn't liking it here very much and the service was definately not up to standard - in her opinion. Then again, it was a public hospital and she respected that.

"No, and hopefully I won't have to again." He said looking around at all the ill people with him in the waiting room. He couldn't help but think that being stuck in a room with ofther sick people could only make things worse for him, he could end up catching what ever they had. "Hey! Does someone have to pretty much die to get any help around here?!" Josh snapped at the woman at the desk, granted she was busy and Josh would have to take his turn but this was taking an eternity. It was probably only a few minutes but in Josh's current state evry second felt like an hour. "Come on, come on..." He muttered to himself repeatedly starting to get more frustrated and impatient. The way Josh figured it was that the doctor would do a few spells on him and fix him then he could be out in a flash. at this rate Josh would be in here for days. But what if they couldn't fix him? What if the damage was to bad? Could a paralyzed boy be accepted at Hogwarts? Could he still be like veryone else without the use of his lower body? He quickly pulled himself away from his rather distressing thoughts and focused on Violet wondering how she would treat him if he had to stay like this with a lifeless lower half.

[glow=red,2]Rose quickly stepped out of the room . She had been trying to do something to a person who had levitaded hands on his head . Seeing that they were angry she quickly cracked a tiny smile and apologised sincerely .

She quickly pulled out a strecther and pushed it in front of her . She quickly tipped the patient inside and took him to a private room . She rolled back her sleeves and pushed back her hair . She Pulled out a long green shirt and put it down his head before striping of wet , fully red his pants at the gruesome sight . She flinched and quickly put an ointment on it before giving him some potion to drink for a dreamless sleep .

She stepped out of the room removing her gloves and looking at the two people who were there with the patient . "What happened " , she asked questionly . "I can't do anything if you don't tell me" . [/glow]

Professor Rowe replaced his cold facade and looked at the witch with an air of slight annoyance. "I'm well aware of that, thank you," he said coldly. "This boy fell from the top of the Hogwarts Astronomy Tower--he has several broken bones our own Nurse was able to treat, but he can't feel his legs at all..."

[glow=red,2]Rose gave a little bow and went back inside . She really didn't think there was anything she could do . It was too late . She moved closer to him and stroked his hair of his face , at for a little while wondering how to break out the news . SHe sat down close to him , so that she could tell him first instead of the grumpy people waiting outside . wishing she could put everything right , wishing she could give him legs . She waited for Josh to get up fidgeting with her hands . [/glow]

"So?" Josh asked propping himself up on his elbows. "How long will it take to fix me up then?" He asked as he searched the woman's face for good signs. Seeing none his own expression dropped. "You can't can you?" He said his vioce now flat and mono tone. "I'm gunna have to stay like this aren't I?" He said already knowing the answer. He could see it in her body language. His eye tingled with the sensation of the build up of tears. He lay back down again loking directly up. using his forearm to wipe away the tears. "Can I have a minute please?" He asked basically wanting the woman to leave so that he didn't end up crying in front of her.

Violet looked on in shock. She could feel it in the nurse, the lack of hope, the realisation of the impossibe. Her almost tearful gaze travelled across to the professor briefly before returning to Josh, noticing how he was almost crying. It took her less than a moment to realise that was probably why she felt tearful, just because Josh was.
An almost desperate urge to just reach out with her slender fingers and gently caress Josh's face, clearing it of tears was repressed by Violet as she looked down helplessly at him. The nurse had touched him and Violet prevented herself from shooting a dangerous glare at her. Wasn't she supposed to help? Violet often got extremely emotionally involved with people which meant she would only have to know someone's name and face to be able to feel partly responsible for them. As she glanced at the two adults, she felt somewhat angry that no-one could do anything for him.
She dropped her head slightly and looked at her now fidgeting fingers, her dark curls hiding her soft face as she remained throughtul for a moment. Slowly, Violet brought her head back up and looked at Josh. How she would treat him after this was going to depend simply on how he would react to her. Violet was far from shallow, different to other Slytherins without doubt, she was always willing to give someone another chance.
When Josh asked for a minute, Violet wondered who he had wanted to leave. Just the nurse? And the professor maybe, to get rid of the adults? Or had he meant her too...? Did Josh want to be completely alone? In a sad confusion, Violet skipped a breath, her pattern disrupted slightly as she regained her composure and turned to leave Josh as he may have asked...

Josh didn't even wait for everyone to leave before bursting into anger and sadness driven tears. "Damn it, damn it all!" He yelled at the top of his lungs not caring who heard. His vioce shaky as he lay on his back crying, his face hot with anger. His fists clenched and beating on the table he was lying on. "Damn it all, damn you all! Damn every thing!" He continued with very muscle in hs upper body straining with uncontrolable rage. "When I find out who did this..." He trailed off in a a threatening vioce not caring who could hear him. He looked over to Violet who was just leaving and didn't say a word just letting the tears roll down the side of his face with a deep frown and lips persed tightly. He was to angry to say anything, the most worrying thing about Josh's current state was that it annoyed him as much as anything and made him fall into a rage that couldn't be stopped and that would end up in someone getting hurt, namely himself. The person who was responsible (Who he assumed to be Silver Tear) had a lot to answer for. "Now what am I gunna do?" He muttered mainly to himself now feeling virtually suicidal, this rollercoaster of emotion was like one he'd never experienced before and it certainly wasn't a good one. "How can a... How can I go back to Hogwarts like this? How can I go home like this?" He questioned looking from face to face with tears still rolling down his face and vioce still slightly shaky though not whining.
