Even though Phineas knew Harry Potter would be in the village with the older students for the Hogsmeade Visit, he popped into his portrait at Number 12 Grimmauld Place anyway. Looking around at the empty room, he hoped someone was home. Phineas cleared his throat loudly and waited for someone to enter.

Ginny walked past the room Harry had spent part of the summer in, when they were younger. As she did so, a noise stopped her in her tracks, something sounding of a cough. Her heart sped up, with the recent problems the family was having, Ginny reacted by taking her wand out of her robe.

A slight frown on her face, she entered the room and looked around. After only a moment, she spotted Phineas in the portrait.

"Phineas, did somehting happen?"

"I have come with a warning. There has been a break in Hogwarts security. A wizard named Draygon has entered the Headmaster's office and is attacking him. The Headmaster has managed to send a messenger patronus throughout the castle to warn the others but most of the students are in the village today with Mr. Potter." Phineas replied. He looked over his shoulder he was feeling eager to return and keep an eye on the school.

Ginny was left speechless at Phineas' statements. Her eyes widened with fear and she was momentarily stopped, until she gained control of herself and starting asking questions.

"Harry and the students at Hogsmeade should know then, correct?" She asked concerned for the multitudes of students that were wandering the streets, even more unprotected than they would be in Hogsmeade. Especially if Draygon had comrades.

"Phineas, is there a way for me to get into Hogwarts quickly?" Ginny was all ready planning other routes into Hogwarts, but she needed to get Lily to her mother's first and send a patronus of her own to Harry, to be sure he knew.

"I believe the Floo from the Headmaster's home is still connected to his office, Mrs. Potter. You may be able to enter from there. I will go back to my Portrait in the Headmaster's office to check on the status and will return with an update." Phineas strolled out of the frame leaving Ginny to wait and worry.


A few moments later, he returned muttering to himself. He appeared to be in a more foul mood. "Filthy rude girl, Would never have allowed that mannor of speaking from a student in my day! I would have expelled her for certain. Not Weasley though...He thinks it's amusing!" Phineas flopped in his chair, crossing his arms in disgust.

"Of course," Ginny said as it were the most obvious choice. "I should have thought of it." As Phineas left, Ginny was left to pace the room and send a Patronus to her mother to tell her that Lily was on her way for a possible extended stay. She waited impatiently for Phineas' return and began to wear a path into the wood of the floor.

Ginny spun around as Phineas' voice filtered through the room once more. "What's happened?!?!" Ginny asked with a strain to her voice.

"Professor Weasley is fine. It appears he won the duel and the intruder is dead. However, he keeps strange company with that Slytherin girl. I don't like her one bit. In my day, she would have been expelled for her sharp tongue." Phineas didn't bother to look at Ginny. He was still fuming from the insults of Nolei Nightmare.

"The Floo is safe now but I wouldn't if I were you. That girl needs a few swats with a paddle. That might straighten her out." Phineas sat in his chair and refused to return until he knew for certian Nolei had left.

"Dead?" Asked Ginny with a shocked expression. Of course she was happy that Bill was all right, but she didn't think that it would end up in...a murder. "But is anyone else there? Did Draygon come with others?" Ginny began to ramble and stopped to face Phineas, "I just need to go there. Now."

As Phineas continued to talk, she frowned. "Why wouldn't it be a good time to go over? I need to help; to make sure everything's okay."

Phineas looked at her for the first time since returning. "Go if you want. I'm not returning until that girl is gone! I am not allowing her to insult me again!" He replied with conviction. "You can take the Floo network."

Ginny shook her head in frustration and walked to the door. "Thank you, Phineas. I've got to go and check on Bill." She said with a worried frown as she dashed out of the room, and to the kitchen to transport to the school.
