Garrin, with a small and hopeful smile, wrote a letter, then used a spell to make several copies. They were addressed to Landon, Nolei, Bill Weasley, Harry Potter, and various other people in Luna's life, as well as Garrin's family and good friends. After writing it, Garrin used a charm as to prevent Luna from reading its contents if she happened to come across a copy.

I am writing with great news...or potential great news! Earlier today I bought an engagement ring. I am going to propose to Luna in two weeks. I have been thinking about this for quite some time now, and I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. My request is that each of you be present at the Three Broomsticks, two Fridays from now at 7:30. If she says yes, that's your cue to stand up and applaud (the idea is--she won't know that you're there, so try your best to blend in!).
