Title: Perfect S.I.T.U.A.T.I.O.N

Landon Lawliet - March 11, 2008 12:59 AM (GMT)
Landon was on the verge of tears. He put his hysterics on hold long enough to tap on the door to Garrin's office.

He gulped hard, unsure of what to do when the door would open and at the same time feeling like he was wasting time. Of course this was unavoidable...this had to be done first.

He only hoped Garrin would feel the same and rush to aid at once.

Garrin Hamren - March 20, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
"Be right...oof--there!" Garrin called out. He popped back up to a proper standing position after picking up a bit of rubbish that had found its way to the floor. He popped his neck before striding over to open his door.

"Landon..." His thick eyebrows shot upwards slightly for a moment. "Er, hello. What brings you here?"

Landon Lawliet - March 20, 2008 11:18 PM (GMT)
Landon felt onto the wall for support and clutched his side. He was out of breath from running.

He had never been so serious looking in his life. “The children just contacted the school. Luna is missing. Do you know where she is?” He asked hastily.

Garrin Hamren - March 20, 2008 11:22 PM (GMT)
Garrin's mind immediately began swimming, his thoughts racing as he surveyed Landon, though he only looked at him for but a moment to know he wasn't joking.

"What? What do you mean, missing? I...I don't know where she is, I mean...I haven't seen her yet today...have you tried her parents?"

He backed into his office, reached for his cloak, and prepared to leave, not knowing necessarily where he was going.

Landon Lawliet - March 20, 2008 11:47 PM (GMT)
"Parents are dead. Found them in the remaints of their home a few minutes ago. Children claim a man came in..they dunno who though and I didn't think it would be a good idea to tell them about the grandparents or bug them for more information they don't have." He sighed.

"I've never been as scared as I am right now."

Garrin Hamren - March 31, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Garrin suddenly felt a horrible wave of nausea overtake him, but his mind was racing too quickly for him to even notice, much less do anything about it.

"And the kids? Are they okay?" he asked faintly, though his eyes held a sense of urgency.

Landon Lawliet - March 31, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
"The kids are fine. I left them with Nolei for the time being. There's been a few auror's assigned to watching them so it should be fine."

He let out a sigh and shook his head and rubbed the sweat from his brow.

"Did she mention going anywhere or having any errands today or anything?!" He asked again grasping at straws.

Garrin Hamren - March 31, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
"I--I don't...no, she didn't say anything." Garrin swallowed hard, his head pounding as he tried to recall Luna saying anything about going anywhere at all. Leave it up to a man to remember the details.

"Does Potter know?" he asked, his tone suddenly sounding a lot more steady and fierce. If anyone could find Luna, he knew Harry could. Either way, he would search for her himself until she was found, but the more looking the better.

"And I want to know who this...this man is. The one the children saw. Did anybody ask him anything? Who was he, what was he doing at Luna's parents' place?"

Landon Lawliet - March 31, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
"I would assume that he does. The magical enforcement office is in chaos over this." He said as he paused to listen to Garrin.

"The children are drawing us some pictures...Nolei will send them to us. No one has asked him anything. We don't know who he is except that he's the one that left with Luna and that he's our only suspect in the case of her parent's murder. I understand your feelings but seeing as she's carrying your child and we don't know what he's capable of it would probably be a good idea not to go provoking anyone." Landon had to say harshly.

"Also, when we get her back I'd like you to advise her to take up a new job...like knitting, or snail spectating, or something that requires her to be in your viewing range at all times." He said playfully although he was not in the least joking.

Garrin Hamren - April 1, 2008 12:03 AM (GMT)
"Right," Garrin replied, his voice faint again and his expression distracted.

"What Aurors are looking for her?" he asked, his tone serious and fierce again. "And...when did she disappear? What places have been checked?" he asked, reaching for a quill and parchment. He quickly scribbled down a note reading Cody--out looking for Luna. Don't worry, and stay where you are. Dad.

"We'll find her," he said, swallowing hard, his whole body shaking as he started for the door, not knowing where to start.

Landon Lawliet - April 1, 2008 12:11 AM (GMT)
"Before we go I think there's something you should know." He took a photo out of his pocket and handed it over to Garrin. It was a photo of Draygon Adams as Garrin would have remembered him.

"I didn't mean to, but I killed this man." He started slowly..

"His name is Jacoby and he was imprisoned by Draygon around the same time Luna was. He was used for polyjuice transformations. Luna has never seen Draygon's real face, and the night I went to capture him he put this guy out as a decoy." He sighed, regret etched into his features.

"Azkaban guards say that Draygon was very upset when he learned of the conception of yours and Luna's child. This kidnapping of Luna and the murder of her parents may be his handywork. We may be looking at him causing some serious revenge if that's so."

Garrin Hamren - April 1, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
"He...you....what? Ughh...."

The nausea suddenly intensified within Garrin's bowels, and he doubled over, puking into a rubbish bin by the door. Breathing hard and wiping his mouth, he straightened himself up properly, showing a ghost-white color in his face.

"You're telling me...Draygon is still alive...and Luna could be with him?" he asked, his cracking voice giving the same fierceness and yet showing hints of a whimper.

Landon Lawliet - April 1, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
"I'm saying it's a possibility." He nodded, feeling sick. The sight of Garring getting sick didn't help matters.

"So do you want to come to the office with me or do you have other ideas? Personally I'd prefer that you didn't go alone."

Garrin Hamren - April 1, 2008 01:06 AM (GMT)
"I--I don't know," Garrin said, coming to a stop and swaying a bit on the spot.

"I don't have any idea where to start..." He held his head for a moment, looking as though he might be sick again, but then took in a wavering breath, his eyes filled with tears.

"I'll go with you," he said with some hesitance, shrugging and still shaking.

Landon Lawliet - April 1, 2008 01:17 AM (GMT)
"Okay." He said softly. "Are you going to be alright? You don't look so good. No offence of course...."He stated as he led Garrin out of the room and into the hall so that they were on their way to the Ministry.

ooc: I'll start the new topic tomorrow.
