The auror office was messy to say the least. It was filled with cubicles and desks for everyone who wasn't a head of something and beyond that, quite overrun with paper boxes, files and folders spilling out over the place.

Research was done here as well as some questioning. Mostly, however, it is where the working aurors went when they weren't out in the field persuing a case.

Luna sat on the desk inside hers and Landon's joined cubicle. It certainly wasn't standard, but none of them were as good on a case as both of them. She sat indian style on top of the desk, doctoring a doughnut with mustard before snacking on it.

Landon crouched on top of a short file cabnet and was treating his doughnut with the same respect. Although he was incapable of being pregnant, being around Luna as much as he was had lead him to share the same train of thought and habits.

The two of them were hard at work flipping muggle playing cards into a hat. Do not be fooled...they were thinking.

"I've unleashed 86 registered seers ...everywhere. I've uncovered countless bodies. Not a one is even close to being this Jacoby Evandelle guy. I feel so bad that his parents are paying for this..I've made no progress what so ever. I even did what you asked and had his family investigated...this guy has dropped off the face of the earth."

They sighed in unison and after running out of cards, opened a new deck.

"Well quit testing bodies and start tracking down a living soul...it's quite obvious isn't it? You've searched the world over..literally..this guy isn't dead he's just hiding somewhere. I'd take a guess that he's trying to get away from his mother. Jacoby is what? 27? And his mother is paying the magical law enforcement to track him down." Luna sniffed as she completed the analysis.

"He went missing when he was twenty. I got this case a little over two weeks ago. She sent me a packect of photos. I haven't even looked at them yet. I don't see how that will help...if he's been able to obtain polyjuice potion...well he could be anything."

Landon sighed and bit into another mustard covered doughnut.

"OOOO I wanna see!" Luna smiled as she reached for the sealed envelope. She tore it open and poured the photos (there were about five) into her lap.

She picked a photo and nearly dropped the lot. She was staring down Draygon Adams.

"Draygon is her son. Or he was impersonating her son with polyjuice." She gave the picture to Landon.

Landon took the photo curiosuly and nearly tore it in half once he saw the portrait and clenched his fist.

"Even when he's dead he's working the system! Did any of his work amount to anything or is he just playing with me!? If the man wasn't dead I'd strangle him within an inch of his life, nurse him back to health, and then kill him!"

He focused on Luna's blank stare.."Oh come on Lu! After everything he did to you, how can I not be mad?"

And how could Celia love him? Love him enough to let him kill me Lu and the kids? She wanted me dead first......what a fool I've become! And then he rolls over on a knife and dies before he can answer to a thing...pathetic. To think I spent 5 months of salary on that ring....God I miss her....I wonder if she'd ever take me back...what am I thinking?! She belongs in jail with the rest of the murderers!

"I'm sorry. I still haven't gotten over everything."
