With newspaper in hand, Bill strolled up to Harry's office on level two of the Ministry of Magic. He needed to speak with Harry about Luna and the plans he had for her. Since Bill had no way of contacting Luna while on holiday with Garrin, there was no other choice than to see Harry. Bill had to chat with someone that could help him decide the best course of action.

He paused at the closed door and looked at his watch. For the first time, Bill wondered if Harry knew. He didn't want to be the one to tell Harry that one of his Undercover Aurors was out in the open for the entire Magical World to see.

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door as he exhaled.

"Bill...come on in, I was just writing you a letter," Harry said upon answering the knock at his door. He stepped back to allow the Headmaster's entrance, gave a heavy sigh, and scratched mindlessly behind his ear.

"I'm assuming you've read it,then?" he said, making a face as he nodded to the article laying on his desk.

Bill entered the office feeling better than before. At least he didn't have to break the news to Harry. "Yes, I read it. I was a little concerned about what to do. Luna took the week off per your request and Garrin went with her on Holiday. He had time available so I let him have the week to help her. I don't think they are aware as of yet."

Bill walked into the office and took a seat across from Harry's desk. Feeling comfortable with Harry, Bill stretched back and kicked his dragonhide boots up on the edge of the desk, taking care not to kick anything over or land them on any of Harry's papers.

Harry strode over to his desk and cast a lingering glance at the letter for a moment before deciding to bin it. He sank into his chair, and hunched over his desk towards Bill.

"At first I thought I'd need to reassign her, but I'm not so sure it's necessary. If we follow up on the article with one of our own, then the public will be more likely to believe our word. Despite the owls from parents, I can't think of any adult in the wizarding world that would take Skeeter seriously. She lost her credibility long ago."

Bill hadn't thought of this before. He was so consumed with her cover being blown thet he didn't think of ways around it. The stress Bill was under, being the new Headmaster, was starting to show. He knew he was slipping. After all it was Rita Skeeter that wrote the article.

"Do you think we could have the article printed soon. I would like to get things calmed down before Luna and Garrin return. The students will be full of guestions for them and it could be disruptful to school."

"Yes...I'll see to it immediately," Harry said, pulling out a fresh piece of parchment.

"If Luna and Garrin don't know yet, you can be sure they will soon---if I'm not mistaken Landon Lawliet has probably already popped over there to tell them." He rubbed his eyes and sighed irritably at that concept, then stared mindlessly at the blank parchment for a moment.

"I'll contact Bree Johnson, then I think I'll send word to Luna, let her know that we're doing all we can to remedy the situation."

At least Harry had a plan. It was a better plan than Bill came up with. If it were up to him, he would have let Luna go and immediately removed her from the faculty. "That sounds good Harry. I appreciate this. If it had been up to me, I would have replaced her. This is good, I think it will work, just fine."

Bill was starting to miss the Ministry gossip he used to hear everyday. He rubbed his neck and looked up at Harry again. "So, anything new at the Ministry? I know your not supposed to tell me things anymore but I feel so, oh, I don't know....uninvolved."

Harry smirked softly, dropped his head and gaze towards his desk for a moment, then gave a bit of a furtive shrug.

"Word is one of mine is pregnant. I'm not sure who, but given the way gossip travels around here, I'd say it's just a distorted version of the truth---probably about Luna, actually.

"Oh---Teddy's passed the auror test, did I tell you that? He came round the house the other night, told us the news." Harry grinned softly, his green eyes sparkling with what was obviously an immense amount of pride.

Not really interested in the pregnancy roumor, Bill was glad Harry changed topics. A smile grew on his face. Bill was always impressed with Teddy. "Wow, Congratulations Harry and to Teddy too. You must be so proud. He is such an amazing young man. I know he will be a successful Auror. The boy has such talent." Bill smirked a little...."I don't know where he gets that from?"
