Step: 1
The first step in becoming a member of Gundam Vagrant Destiny is to read the rules of the game. That’s right, the first step to joining the game is to read all of the core rules of the game. This is how you will learn the most about the game at the very beginning. By learning all you can about how we work first, you will be ready to jump in, and play if you choose to join us.

Step: 2
After reading our rules, and agreeing to them, it becomes time to register with us. During this time you will choose your screen name that will appear when you post. This is what everyone will come to know you by, and will often refer to you as. Please pick something that is not inappropriate, or offensive in nature, or else you will be forced to change it. During this time you will also choose your password. Please make it something you can remember easily, but do not make it something easily guessed by someone else. If you need to, write down your name, and password, then store it somewhere safe. Also you will need a valid email address to verify your account through. Finally at the bottom, Invision Free has there own rules for board content, and conduct that you must follow. Please read them thoroughly. You must agree to follow these rules in order to join, so I hope that you can find yourself agreeing with them.

Step: 3
Now that you have an account with us, many more options become available to you, these include posting in the various forums under the General Board Forums, and character creation. Also at this point you can choose an avatar for yourself, as well as a custom member title. Much like the choice of your screen name, please make sure both of these are not inappropriate, or offensive in nature. The age range of Gundam Vagrant Destiny spans from the early teens to mid-twenties. So please, think of our younger members before you put something you find funny up.

Step: 4
Read the character creation rules carefully. At this point you will begin making your character. There are various things that come into play here, and the rules for character creation will cover all of them, if you take the time to read them. While there are many aspects to character creation I will only cover two here due to the fact all of it is covered in the character creation rules. The first I will cover is the biography part of your profile, this is required for your character to even be considered. This is something you will probably only have to do once a version, so please take the time to do it right. This will probably take you the most time to get passed due to the fact it is important. The second is the roleplaying sample. This, like the biography is required for your character to be approved.

Step: 5
Once your character has been posted in the Character Creation, and has been approved for use by one of the moderators, you will be told to continue on to Machine Creation. When this is done, you must copy, and paste your character profile into a new topic in the Player Profiles section. Please make the title of the profile the same as your character’s name for easy reference.

Step: 6
Read the Gunpla Kit Rules.

Step: 7
Once you have selected your Gunpla Kit, and its profile has been created by Bryant, you may copy the Gunpla's profile into a reply to your character profile in the Player Profiles section. You may then add a link to your now completed profile in your signature.

Step: 8
Congratulations, you are now one of us. With everything now completed, it is time to start playing. Decide where you wish to start, and jump into the game. As always, remember to enjoy yourself!
