Personality:
Ellissa is a sardonic, quirky girl, often getting herself into trouble for her incredibly engaging use of sarcasm in situations where it is less than welcome. She is cynical, distrustful of her family and all but the closest of her friends, and extremely forward almost to the degree that she disregards feelings and the social contract to make a point. She has a taste for imported sodas and potted meat, despite the opinions of those around her that the two things cannot possibly bode well for her health.

Bio:
Ellissa grew up as a professor’s kid in California’s silicon valley. A teacher at CIT himself, Ellissa was exposed to a wide range of technology from a very early age. Having not been around a lot of children, Ellissa took social cues from the many college kids she was surrounded by, and grew to be a very sardonic, distrusting person due to the attitudes of those she was surrounded by. Due to her mother’s opinion that “American soda is disgusting,” Ellissa has had a taste for imported drinks from the age of five. In addition, her mother often stocked the pantry with potted meat, Vienna sausages, and other meats that almost never expire. As such, she has stayed fair and thin despite an impossibly odd diet.

Ellissa’s primary interaction with the world is her terminal as well as her in-realm avatar Aretha. She is more comfortable with interaction online, where there are fewer direct consequences for her actions or behavior, although even that is beginning to fade with technology becoming more and more personal, and as a result, less and less. Although she capable of being just as compassionate as the next girl, she just isn’t, simply because it isn’t convenient most of the time.

Sample Post:
Data. Data never changed. It just got bigger. Sometimes it looked prettier. But, cook it down to the base and you have the zeros and ones that made so much of the world these days. It was another day. Her father was teaching, her mother was out doing whatever it is she did with her oodles of free time. Probably smoke weed “casually” with her friends. What was with her family? She was…really weird. All of them were.

Here she was, typing away at her terminal. She was…so bored. There was literally nothing to do. She typed and typed but she was just staring at data. It was like watching your fingers fing. It…made no difference…and no one ever did it. Code this, code that. What did any of it even mean? Had she ever looked, really looked at one of her hands? How much the lines of excess skin were like circuit boards? It seemed even though machines were supposed to become like her, she was slowly becoming more like them. Maybe she just wasn’t incredibly good at the whole “human” deal. Maybe Aretha was better. “I wonder what kinda crap I can get into with her?”
