- Obtaining Lands -
Beyond the normal squabbles between kingdoms, there are also conflicts about obtaining more lands, and resources. Though each nation has a similar amount of starting resources, it should be noted not each of them is driven the same way. While some desire to conquer others over the pursuit of power, while others it is due to greed, while yet still others attempt to maintain the world as it is. For each area a kingdom controls, that kingdom is granted 100 points per week. Below is a list of how each kind of hex is taken.
Uncolored Lands
Uncolored lands may be conquered, however to do so, a kingdom must spend some of its resources to do so. This cost in points is 250 points. Once this is done, the kingdom will then make a play to gain control of a land. If it is uncontested by other players the land will become theirs. If it is contested, the two kingdoms will come to fight each other. If the group attempting to conquer the land is successful, that kingdom gains control of the area, if they lose however, the area remains uncolored. Please note that lands must be touching the aggressor kingdom's colored hexes in order to be conquered.
Colored Lands
Colored lands, or conquered lands, have to be defeated to obtain them. In order to do this, a kingdom must spend 500 points in order to throw the realm into revolt. At which time the kingdom must launch an attack into the realm. The kingdom who controls it can then respond and attempt to crush the revolt. If a revolt is not responded to with in 48 hours, the hex is lost. Once a kingdom responds to a revolt, the members of those kingdoms will fight for control of the hex in question. If the defenders win, they will keep control of the hex. If the attackers win, the hex will become part of their kingdom. Please note that lands must be touching the aggressor kingdom's colored hexes in order for a revolt to be attempted.
Locked Lands
The Ruins of Manter, and The Isle of Delon, both in
Yellow, can not be conquered.
Each hex is equal to 250 Miles.
The Ruins of Manter covers hexes: D 5, E 3, E 4, E 5, F 4.
The Isle of Delon covers hexes: I 6, J 6, J 7, J 8, K 7.
There is currently 38 Open Land Hexes.
There is a total of 72 Controllable Hexes.
Please note these expenditures must be agreed to by majority of the members of a kingdom before they can occur.
All matters of Kingdom expenditures will be taken care of in the Kingdom Section of the Experience and Rewards section of the board. No PMs.
When you post to take a Hex, you must include the hexes two digit code. Example: E 1, I 7.
