Ideas for some higher level Focus moves
Knock away - Focus 5 points
When this melee attack is defended against or hits defender is thrown back and attack they take a negative to next defense post equal to the number of attack points unable to defend against.
Example
Suit one attacks with beam saber Atk score 25
knock away
Suit two defends with shield def score 20
Suit one attacks with beam rifle atk score 25
Suit two defends with shield def score 20 - 5
Wide open -Focus 5 points
When this melee attack is dodged against or hits defender spirals out of control and they loose the ability to defend against next melee attack, this melee attack has to be completed in next post by attacker.
Lead in - Focus 5 points
When this ranged attack is defended against or hits defender is thrown back and attack they take a negative to next defense post against a raised atk equal to the number of attack points unable to defend against.
Ok well that the end of the focus ideas. What I wondering if i can get additional arms for my suit. Like the Gaplant system on the Titan Test team suits.
Those are a bit over powered man.
Well that wasn't really my intent. My attent was to have some focus abilities that will hurt a player in a different way then destroyed part or damage. For instance a character just using shields everytime they get attacked so that an opponent with a weapon that can only do 2 or three attacks are on the loosing side. But in that same aspect it being gundam, the loosing side is never down out. So these were down at out moves.
These abilities are aimed at higher levels, so if you want to put a level cap on them that would be cool. Or even that focus move can only be done at specific ranges. Like A suit is damaged at 1/2 or more is given access to the focus ability as the pilot starts to get better under pressure. Another though was to have the ability not be allowed to be combo with other focus moves so they couldn't boost then do that to have their opponent at a major disadvantage.
But I have a edit that you might like and allow a lowering of points too, but still versatility for the suits with few weapon types.

Wide open -Focus 5 points
When this melee attack is dodged against or hits defender spirals out of control and they loose the ability to dodge against next melee attack. (This melee can not be comboed with any other focus move.)
Lead in - Focus 5 points double ammo costs for all range attacks this post
When this ranged attack is dodged against or hits defender is lead into a angle they can not dodge from. Defender can not take a dodge action for next ranged attack (This attack can not be comboed with any focus move.) All additional ammo spent does not count as additional attacks and are expended not as an attack so does not count against weapon attack total.
But what about a Gaplant system? I was wondering what would be the requirements and rules placed on me, specially since i have 3 or 4 arms to with on melee.
