The Heroe-1 flew to the engagement zone idly listingt throiugh the air from left to roight in an almost lazy fashion. Cirling the zone to get a good eyes on Map of the area Ran set down near the Western edge. "I don't know why command wants me to fight against this guy but orders are orders."

From out in the distance a MW transport plane could be seen entering the combat area. Really, I don't know what there thinking having me fight now of all times.. (going with an armored core transport, bare with me) The transport stopped and hovered in place. a black shape dropped from it's underside. The black and gold silhouette of the Anubis hit the ground kicking up sand and dust as it landed. As the transport begain to leave the area, Anubis stood in place with it's arms crossed faceing in the direction of the Hero-1 Kilometers away.


So, your the Foundations Sword of justice...Ran am i right. I am pleased to meet you. shall we begain.

"I'm ah..." Rans' face was flushed and he was glad the videocam was off so the enforcer couldn't see his embrrasment. "It's an honor to face, you, fight you, work, I mean, spare against you...ah, sir."

His hands were shaking as they danced across the controlsd putting the Heroe-1 into an elgant bow. "I've always admi..err... wanted to be an Enforcer like you. I'll, ah, do my best to...uh...do my best, SIR."

He swallowed hard as he pulled the Heroe-1 into a rready stance, thrusters winning in preflight, knees shoulder width apart and hands at the ready to drop down to the guns or up for the swords. Idly Ran realized this was probably the worst unit for him to face but was determined to give a good accounting despite himself. "Ah, ready when you are, sir."

Hmhmhm. Zenith gave a small laugh at the nervisness of Ran. nervis are you. You shouldn't be. I've heard of your exploites and you are to be comended, thats why your here. Now.. show me your all, don't disapoint me.

The Anubis uncrossed it's arms and with it's right hand removed a pole the size of it's arm from it's lower back and held it out in frount of it's self horizontily. The pole then grow to the point it was almost taller then the Anubis. he then spun it 4 times quickly over it's head and then pointed the end with the metal spear headto the ground and powered thrusters. Come at me with all you've got. Because i'm not holding back!

The Anubis launched with full thrust toward the Hero-1, with eye's as red as blood.

"Yes sir," responded Ran with a nod as the Anubis began to spin it's polearm. Rapidly Ran considered his options, the Anubis seeamed a heavy melee unit but it certainly wasn't, it was closer to an all range unit and defeating it would require Ran to do what wasn't exoected at just the right time.

"For Justice," he prayed to the Maiden as the Anubis launched forward.

The Heroe-1 blasted forwad as well, it's flight system kicking to maximum velocity. The distance between them practically vanished and a split second before they'd collide in melee range the Heroe-1 drew and ignighted both beam sabres. He, however, didn't go for the unit itself, instead Ran tried to create an opening, both blades came down in a lateral slash aimed to bring them down on the Anubis-polearm.[Attack-1] The attack was designed to give Ran an opening and the force of it would help reposition his unit into a twist like a gymnast using a pomelhorse. As he lifted over the Anubis Ran thumbed the activation stud for his Vulcans sending a barrage of fire at the Anubis head and face.[attack-2]

The two units were heading stright for each other, the Hero-1 closeing in faster then the Anubis. Hero-1 drew it's beam sabers and was readying an attack. Nice try, but... As the Hero-1 moved into melee range and strike down with both sabers. the Anubis shifted to the it's left and around to the right side of Hero-1 and grabed it's right arm with Anubis's left hand ( counter action) . Not clever enough! The Anubis then pulled the Hero-1 down to a bowing position and knee'ed it twice in the chest then throw the Hero-1 back ( ATK action:2x1 kinetic strikes) and then turned to it's left and fired a vulcan set.( ATK 2: 12x1 kinetic shots)

(OOC- think that can be done.....correct me if not but you can do counter actions if it's with-in reason..right?)

[Damned if I know, I just got here, ands TWELVE kinetic for the Vulcans, seams abit much no? Aywho cracks knuckles]

The drag into the knee strike had been unexpected, the second, however, not so much. The heroe-1 countered the second knee strike, palming the leg of the rising kick to blunt the force and prevent the damage. [Defence 1] The throw was a bit unexpected but Ran was an airialist so rolling with it was easy, coming up fast he ignighted his thrusters as soon as they were lined up and slid out of the way of the Vulcan barrage [Defence-2]

Swapping weapons the Heroe-1 drew both beam rifles and leveled them at the Anubis as he began to circle clockwise. short barrage was loosed at the Anubis right shield and arm. [Attack-1 Six Thermal 2 aimed at right arm and right shield]. Rapidly cutting his engines and tumbling forward the Heroe-1 reignighted it's flight system executing a violent and rapid course change which rocketed it back in the opposite direction and above the Anubis where it fired again. [Attack-2 Six thermal 2 aimed at particle rifle and legs]

Hits: 11/10 no system damage yet.

(OOC- well I am fireing more then 1 bullet from my vulcan right? so wouldn't that be how it goes 1 round=1 whatever damage?)

The Hero-1 recovered from the throw and begain to move clockwise of the Anubis. Your fast. lets cut that out. Zenith pushed the switch under the fire control trigger and the beam edge of the anti-ship spear ignited. at that point hero-1 begain it's twin rifle barrage. The Anubis turning with the Hero useing it's spear swung at the beam rounds as they came: Horizontal slash to the right , sideways Vertical slash to the left down wards, sidways vertical slash to the upper right, and a slash vertically straight down deflecting a few beams as the Hero-1 circaled around (Def 1- 4 anti-ship polarm strikes v.s 4 themal shots) Anubis then moved it's right arm in frount of it's chest letting a round hit the shield, then moved the left arm to block the last ( DEF 2)

Next thing the Hero-1 was moving in the oposet direction and in the air fireing another barrage. the Anubis hopped to it's right and ignigted thursters and moved backwards out of the line of fire, before a round hit the right leg. Anubis stopped and stood where it was. You'll pay for that one.

The Anubis held it's spear with both hands and launched at the Hero-1, with the spears head held up and behind like it was ready to slash with it.

[Because visualizing is the easy part, translating that into words is the hard part]

'No, that's far too easy,' notted Ran as the Anubis charged, it's spear held high in preperation to execute a latteral slash...or so it seamed. 'Remind me to pick up a shield or two...yeah two.'

Taking the bait the Heroe-1 fired a tight and focussed barrage at the Anubis chest and upper body.[Attack-1: Six Damage 2 thernal at upper body] Then the unit switched to it's beamsabres' and adopted a defensive stance as he waited for the Anubis to close into melee.

(OOc- sorry. then i guess I was chargeing from the ground and into the air at you from below.......oh, well)

The Anubis still chargeing into the air at the Hero-1 from below, Hero-1 fired a lined barrage at it from above. The Zenith adjusted the thruster vents leaned back and was propealed up a bit over the oncomeing beam fire (DEF 1) then cut thrusters and begain to free fall out of the mars sky. Seeing the Hero-1 expecting close range made it all the better. The Anubis grabbed the spear into the left hand, took hold and drew the electron rifle with the right, aimed in the general positon of the Hero-1 and fired a barrage of vulcan followed by 4 ET rounds in a cross patturn( ATK-1- 4x2 partical shots: 36x1 kenetic shots) then by angleing it's self upright, fireed it's thruster and hit the ground with a softened hard drop. It's body hunched from the hard landing with small red dust and sand clouds rising from it's feet.

'Yeah, that made sense," nodded Ran as he threw the Heroe-1 into a spiral that through it off cebter and away from the heart of the barrage the Anubis fired at it. [Defence-1] Cutting the roll short the Heroe-1 propelled backwards at a right-angle to it's roll pushing it further back and away as it raised it's left arm up to block one of the particle bolts loosed by the Anubis [Defence-2]

"Better the arm then the legs," notted Ran as he rolled the unit around so it was hanging upside down in the air. Switching the right sabre for the right rifle Ran growled. "That gun is gonna be alot of pain if this fight continues."

Descending to the Anubis right the Heroe-1 fired a quick burst from up in the air aimed to hit the units right arm an, more importantly, the particle rifle. [Attack-1 Three Damage: 2 thermal at right arm and particle gun] Landing also to the Anubis side in an explosion of soil and earth the Heroe-1 fired again, though the intent was the same. [Three Damage: 2 thermal to right arm and particle gun at chest level]

'I need to disasemble this thing piece by piece to win.'

Recovering from the landing the Anubis begain to stand up-right when radar got the Hero-1 at 3' oclock high. 3 beam rounds from Hero's rifle were fired from that direction. The Anubis put up it's right shield for the block of one (DEF 1), ( ...He's been trying to take out my rifle and spear sence this fight started.) Then quick thrusted backwards to avoid the other two (DEF 2). an evil grin came over Zenith's mouth and his eye's quick glared red once.( Hmhm, Good)

Anubis then took aim with the rifle, when another shot came at ground level and destroyed the partical rifle. The anubis took up the spear in latteral stance and charged at the Hero-1 again.

"Ok," sighed Ran as the particle rifle was destroyed. "That's half the job." Casually he flipped the circuit breakers controlling the left arm to reintilkaize motor-control and all it's systems.

[[Left limb operational]] Noted the computer as the Anubis charged.

"F#ck," swore the young pilot as the Heroe-1 switched to it's beamsabres. Waiting until the Anubis closed just into melee Ran slammed the acceleration to launch his unit backwards hopefully bringing him out of range of the Anubis first swing and thumbed the trigger for his Vulcans. [Attack 1 Four Damage-1 Kinetic at upperbody]

With a flash the Heroe-1 switched it's left arm beamsabre for it's left side beam rifle and fired a burst at the Anubis legs[Attack 2 Three Damage 2 thermal at lower body] as it reversed the grip on its' right hand beamsabre so he could use it defensivly.

As the Anubis started to closed in on the Hero-1, it fired it's thrusters into a backwards dash. From the actions taken with the drawing of both sabers, the units left arm was working again. Anubis started to accelerate and motion to the right of the winged unit when it begain to fire it's vulcans. Ajusting the thrust vints more and moving to the side of the Hero to avoid ( Def 1) and then ajusted them to put him back on pursuit course.

As soon as he was back on hero's tail it had already switched it's left saber with a rifle and fired a three shot volly. Anubis useing the beam edge ignited spear countered the beam rounds fired; horizontal slash to the left, upwards slash to the right, and a downwards vertical slash (Def 2- 3 anti ship polearm slashes)

After the last slash the anubis plunged the spear head into the sand and with the speed from it's thruster polevollted into the air and over the Hero-1 fireing an onset of it's vulcans as it passed ( Atk1-24x1 kenetic at upper body) landing a bit behind the hero-1 with back to it, the Anubis turned into a lethal left side horizontal slash at the Hero-1's back.

( ooc- from what i see you got 5 choices 2 of which can and will kill me, while 1 can kill you.)

[Sorry about the long wait, I got REAL busy this week]

Ran watched as the Anubis vaulted into the air and subtly nodded his understanding. "Yeah that makes sense," agreed the pilot as he b;lasted backwards the Vulcan fire of the Anubis chassing him. [Defence-1] Damage readouts scrolled up the H.U.D. as two impacts reverberated through the armor.

[[Torso damage. Port beamsabre damaged] informed the computer.

Ran ignored it watching his semsors and flicking through the cameras along the torso as the Anubis flew over head and landed behind him it's hands reorienting on the haft of the polearm for a horizontal slash. Pushing the thrusters to maximum thrust the Heroe-1 spun in place and listed to hit's left folding the left side beam-gun across his forearm and pushing forward as the Anubis slashed. Closing within melee range the Heroe-1 used the rifle as an improvised club and halted the polearm strike by slamming his rifle into the haft of the polearm just behind the blade. [Defence-2]

At point blank range, within the defensive arc of the Anuibis the Heroe-1 drew his reverse-grip sword about in a horozontal slash aimed at the Anubis torso. When that attack finished the Heroe-1 spun the beamsabre back into a forward position and slashed dowards in a vertcle strike that would cut a cross into the Aunbis toroso if both attacks struck. [Attack 1 & 2: Two damage 2 thermal to torso]

Hero-1 blocked the oncoming slash by useing it left rifle as a club to defend it's self, who would have saw that comming one could say.....not Zenith.

With the it so close it's do or die. Hero's reverse bladed Horizontal took it's mark across the torso, desolving away more of the Anubis's beam coat ( AB-coat 1/5 remanining). The Hero moving to deliver an almost surten to be final blow, Anubis letting go of the spear with his left hand, blocked the vertical swing downwards by useing the arm shield to stop Hero's arm from coming down and grabed it by the forearm and stepped on the units right foot hard. ( def 1)

Anubis dropped the spear fired it's vulcans at the unit's chest and left arm at point blank to disable it (atk 1 48x1 kenetic shots). then with it's right palm forced Hero-1's elbow to break with an uppwards arm thrust to snap it in two and in the same motion deliverd adownwards elbow blow to the unit's lower chest (atk 2 2x2 kenetic strikes)

The Anubis dropped it's spear to begin grappling which left the unit with only two recourses of attack. The Heroe-1s left arm rifled forwardto grasp the Anubis about the neck and press the unit backwards redirecting most of its' vulcan fire up into the sky. [Defence-1] Unfortunatly pushing the Anubis backwards left the left arm exposed to the vulcan fire causing it to be torn apart in the process.

The right arm twisted as the Anubis palm came about allowing the strike to land inside the Heroe-1s elbow folding the arm and blunting the strike [Defence-2] The elbow collided with the right side of his units torso. However the starboard sabre was still in the Heroe-1s right hand and functional arm. Twisting the right arm about Ran broke the Anubis' grip and brought the beam sabre about in a slash at the Anubis torso in the same motion. [Attack-1 Damage 2 thermal]

Raising it's free leg the Heroe-1 stepped on the leg the Anuibs was using to pin his foot and pushed off freeing his foot and backing up a few meters as it fired it's own vulcans at the Anubis chest [Attack-2 Three Damage-1 Kinetic at Torso]
