It has been a while since Leander had left the Ptolemaios for personal reasons. It was inevitable though and predicted that the Gundam Meister would never follow a life of a normal civilian once more. He could not feel the fear that scattered around the eyes of those who did not witness a loved one perish due to a terrorist attack nor did he feel the emotions that saddened him when someone called out to him. He was armoured, protected by the hide that was impenetrable. All that the young man had felt was the urge to rid this world of all impurities, namely the newly conjoined alliance of the Innovators and of Yggdrasil Swanhild.

Really, Leander was quite surprised to see them two forming a strong alliance with each other. The Innovators, once working with the Autonomous Earth Force had fought on the side of their presumed justice yet had detached themselves with a different form of ‘justice’. Nevertheless, the rogue faction of Yggdrasil Swanhild bore a wild reputation themselves. Leander and his comrades had respectively encountered their state-of-the-art mobile weapons and countless emerged out from battle rarely without scratches on their E-carbon constructed Gundams. It seemed as though they possessed weaponry similar to their very own.

Ungratefully, with the appearance of such a merged faction, several little unions formed around the most technologically advanced continent on the world, Central Nexus City. Having rogue unions gathering up and combining their own forces, Leander clearly proved that they possessed some sort of trump card that had boosted up their confidence. Somehow and somewhere, Leander knew that this world was far from distorted and more pressure was accumulated on the Meister’s shoulders. He had joined Celestial Being to challenge and change this world of errors and mistakes yet within a short frame of three months, the world seemed to be fighting itself threatening their own existence.

”And that’s why Celestial Being exists.” Leander said to himself as he held a pistol to a man that was on his back struggling to move out of the way. ”No wait, I can explain!” The man in the tuxedo exclaimed with an overflow of fear scathed across his face. ”He just told me that-“ But before he could explain himself, Leander had pulled the trigger, sending a bullet towards the man’s lower right leg, allowing his slacks to soak up the expelled blood. ”You would have assumed that I don’t want explanations.” The young man declared in an emotionless voice. ”Now tell me. What is his name and where is he now?”

”I swear I don’t know!” The man protested in angst and desperation as he strived to survive this. ”Stop toying with me!” the young man barked as he fired yet another bullet to the shoulder region of the man. The man dressed formally gasped once again, cursing Leander’s life. ”You know what? If you don’t tell me, I’ll shoot it where it really hurts.” Leander declared as he moved his arm gently, pointing the nozzle of the pistol at the groin region of the man. ”Now tell me, are you a faithful customer to those chicks in the red light districts?” The crude young man questioned with a snicker of evilness across his face as he noticed the slight change in facial expression from desperate fear to an expression that could be interpreted as ‘I have just lost everything’.

His eyes bulged the moment he saw the mouth of the uniquely designed pistol being aligned at his groin area. For some instance, he felt as though he had lost all muscle control over that area as soon enough, he was leaking. However, the splashes of rain drops covered his true fear and didn’t humiliate him. ”So, up for another try?” Leander said as he cocked the firearm in such a delicate position in which any interference will not allow the bullet fired to misaim. ”So where was I? Oh yes…where is he?” Leander shouted as he loaded his bullet with a fine bullet that was potentially dangerous especially at such range.

”Dude. What are you going to do with him even if I do tell you? Go kill him?” the man in the nice drenched suit shouted, trying to drag as much time as he required whilst trying to ease the pain that was located in his leg. The area around his wounded was puddling up with a diluted solution of blood and rain. The mixture was pale red but definitely not something to smell when the rain stops. ”Does it even matter to you?” The Gundam Meister said with a flow of ego and heartless motives pounding his every move.

The man in the suit continued to sweat but although his sympathetic nervous system had kicked in, fuelling him with several hormones to enable his flight or fight moves, he was incompetent for his injured leg removed such privilege. ”Hey wait…you look that guy Lieutenant had eliminated a few years ago…except a lot of years younger.” the man immediately declared trying to buy some time for his life even though they were probably only a few more seconds. ”Glad you remembered. I hope you remember Sergeant Reinberg, although a soldier, but preferred to work as a weapons development engineer?” the young man stated rhetorically.

The panicked-stricken man finally pieced the puzzle together, only to realise that this was the son of that man who his supposedly comrade had taken care of. ”You can’t be…” the man immediately questioned as he felt it difficult to face the truth. ”You guessed it. I’m his son. Leander Reinberg. Now tell me, where is he?” The young Meister shouted in angst as he closed the distance between the nozzles of the gun to the crotch of the man. ”To die or to live life as neither man nor woman. You decide.” Leander said with a cruel expression fastening across his damp face.

”Seriously Leander, I don’t know!” the man declared in desperation but his lies were full of deceit and insecurity. ”Cut the crap. I saw you with him an hour ago. But he turned in some alley and somehow disappeared which is why I came after you.” Leander protested with further anger, knowing that he needed to apply more pressure upon this formally dressed man. ”I swear on the life of my mother that if you don’t tell me everything, I will lodge a bullet upon your prostate!” The Meister’s frustration heated upon burning all his anger with everything that came to mind.

The man in the formally ironed suit dampened by the assailing rain felt threatened once more and he felt a loss of energy travelling within him. ”Okay…I’ll tell you.” the man said as he captured another breath of air. He had breathed hard ever since the Gundam Meister had lodged a bullet to his leg. ”But tell me first, are you with Celestial Being?” the man said, seemingly as though he had wanted to trade information with the young boy who’s limbs felt no pain but the startling pelts of water droplets. ”That is not important.” Leander replied deeply as he was only concerned with the information of the location of the man he was locating.

”I take that as a yes.” But before the threatened man could speak an extra word, Leander lodged another bullet at the shoulder of the man. This comrade of his enemy was clearly taking too long to disclose the information. The young man feared that he might be dragging time, allowing his accomplice to escape his fate but Leander won’t let it. ”For fuck’s sake. I’ll tell you. He’s at a residential house!” The man shouted in pain and agony as his arm flickered from being a limp piece of flesh to a strengthened one, trying to not only ease the pain on his shoulder, but also to stop the blood oozing out of the wound.

”Which one!” Leander roared with impatience. He was possessed with the thought of avenging his deceased father. He longed for this time. He had repressed the thought for a long time but now with the world in such a distorted condition, he needed to take a step back into time, it was a time for retribution. ”That house at the corner of Marvlin and Essex. Please, just leave me alone!” the man cried as invisible tears began to drip from the corner of his eyes. With sufficient information, Leander lowered his pistol and turned around as he hoped to run towards his vehicle in order to reach the house.

However, the man in the tuxedo was surely intelligent. The information was true, but the actions were false. Despite having a crippled leg and arm, he used his available arm and reached for the pistol that laid hidden underneath his blazer and immediately, retracted it from its dormant position. ”Sucks to be you!” he shouted with a grin as he raised the weapon and pointed it at the young man. But before he could pull the trigger, the young man had turned around already and fired a final bullet at the heart of the man.

The metal shell lodged itself upon the chest of the man. The accomplice of a murderer couldn’t believe what was happening. ”I agree. Sucks to be you.” Leander said as the nozzle of his pistol lead a trail of smoke. ”And for that earlier question, yes, I am a Gundam Meister of Celestial Being.” He said before placing his pistol in his holster before running towards the motorcycle that awaited him around the corner. The man, on the other hand, leaned there as life continued to be suck from him, allowing the cold to embrace him with the touch of death.

Upon the motorcycle, Leander had worn a black helmet that resisted even the toughest of rain. Nevertheless, Leander had his feet on the pedal and his grip on the accelerator. Filled with anger and rage, Leander was clearly not in the mood for any peace talking. That man in the suit had dragged on for way too long and he was scared and paranoid that it gave his target sufficient time to escape hence extending his undeserved life. Although the rain had soaked pretty much his exterior coating, Leander didn’t care. He wasn’t on a mission as an agent for Celestial Being, but more of a personal obligation.

Turning the wheel vigorously to the left, the motorcycle did a sharp turn and managed to turn right into the left lane of the road perfectly. Clearly being on Earth for at least three months had proven to be quite a challenge for Leander but his persistence to right the wrong had enabled him to pursue skills vital to him. Through his limited time with gravity, Leander lived well, training both physically and mentally; he was young and he still had a lifetime to learn. Although at times he would accompany David with the mechanical maintenance, he would stick to either the gym or stick himself to the library reading.

Passing though another alley way, he looked closely to the street names. ”Marvlin…marvlin…” He kept repeating to himself as he continued to locate the location. He needed a house, a cornered one. He needed to go there, in order to fetch himself the culprit who had ultimately destroyed his family. Turning the cycle one last time, he arrived at the cornered house. Checking the street names to correctly identify the accurate house, he nodded the moment his confidence had been built. ”This is it…” he breathed as he was determined to go to any extremes to achieve what he desired.

Ruthlessly parking the vehicle in front of the brick-layered infrastructure, he analysed the building in hopes that the person he was looking for was in there. Staring at the building as though he had some X-ray vision, he stood there in the rain for a while before dismounting himself from the two-wheeled vehicle and prepared to storm in the house, hoping to catch the person he had wanted. Approaching the house cautiously, he soon arrived at the door. Although the door seemed fragile and historical, the oak wood it was constructed from told a different story.

The owner of this house clearly possessed extraordinary funds. As he peered closer to the design of the stained glass, he realised that it possessed a unique form of art that resembled an old house signature. Nevertheless, he kicked the door open and with his right arm pointing forward with a pistol he extended it and aimed it to the area ahead of him. However, what he saw wasn’t the man he was looking for, but a man who was crippled and on a wheel chair.

”Woah woah, calm down young man.” the crippled in the wheel chair exclaimed as he automatically raised his hands upwards. ”what do you want?” the disabled continued to question. Leander hand the gun pointed at the man’s head from a distance as he immediately flickered his head about; trying to locate the man he was looking for. ”Where is he?” Leander questioned immediately hoping to get a straight and honest answer from the one who had lost his ability to use his legs. ”Where is he?” the Gundam Meister repeated once more. ”May I ask, who is he?” the man on the wheelchair asked.

”Don’t play games with me!” the young man barked ferociously at the man. ”You know who he is. I just received information that he had came here!” Leander barked whilst he walked around the lounge trying to looking for any traces of a door closing or even an opened window that allowed enough space for one to escape. ”Mind telling me your name first?” The middle-aged man said, knowing that it would enrage the pistol-wielding young man. ”Who are you to ask?” Leander questioned knowing that there was absolutely no point in disclosing his identity to the man. ”Because if you don’t, I won’t tell you.”

”And who are you to ask for a deal. You are in no condition to even consider conditions.” Leander declared knowing that this man could have possibly no weaponry with him and even if he did, he had no mobility to even evade the speed of his pistol. ”I am an old man. I don’t have any form of mobility besides this wheelchair. My legs are useless and I have served my country quite well when I was young. I was a content solider. There is nothing for me to lose, but gain.”

The man was making sense and Leander knew that this wasn’t an ordinary man. ”You worked for the military. Tell me then, where is Lieutenant General Ralph Cszeches.” Leander said as he wasn’t still content on revealing his identity to this crippled man. ”Ralphy…he just left.” the man said with an honest voice. Something about this response disclosed no lies or any deceit. ”Where did he go?” Leander further questioned as he grasped his gun harder. The amount of grip he placed on the handle was strong that even the man before him could even tell that this young man was desperate.

”You don’t need to know.” the disabled man reassured as he began to turn around in an attempt to resume his usual routine. ”He killed my father and you’re saying that I don’t need to know?” Leander blurted out with angst and desperation. ”Fine, if you don’t want to tell me, then so be it.” The Gundam Meister stated before he fired a bullet towards the left arm of the crippled, clearly lacking any sensitivity or even sympathy for the old man. ”Maybe you will tell me now.” He declared with a sinister look lodged upon his face.

The bullet let loose and exploded out towards the left arm of the crippled man. Hoping that the man would yelp in pain, screaming for the Meister to stop his irrational attacks, Leander saw something that really shocked him. The bullet smashed against the arm of the man and without even lodging itself to the arm of the man, ricocheted across the room. ”Who are you?” Leander questioned immediately as he kept his gun cocked at the right level, hoping to force some answers out from this seemingly-invulnerable man. ”I am Ash Prayer.” the crippled man revealed.

For some apparent reason, Leander’s mind began to automatic search and within a matter of seconds, he finally realised that he had just encountered not only one of the military’s powerful and more influential personnel, but also the man who had survived in many incredible circumstances that ranged from the first ever encounter with the Aggressors. It was because of that final battle that had caused both him and his legendary machine, the Vitriol, to explode and exterminate the final machine sent by the alien forces.

From there, he had lost his memory and was infected with radiation particles which still live within him today. Working for the military under the alias, Zhane Treyest, the man of miracles had a prototype arm installed which was further enhanced. With his new arm, he was stronger than before, only with a memory wipe. He climbed up the ranks with ease and soon enough, he was assigned a prototype machine dubbed the Enact. From there, he continued to create miracles and when the United Nations acquired false GN drives, one of the many were installed to his Enact which provided him extraordinary power.

With the new and improved Enact mobile suit, Ash Prayer challenged yet another alien force, the Balmarians. With a partner, he performed and produced yet another miracle that allowed him to drive the enemy forces back. But with the background knowledge of Celestial Being, he knew that with the previous generation’s Gundam Meisters, it was Celestial being who had defeated the enemy forces at the end by destroying their abnormal inter-galactic space ship.

”Ash Prayer! What are you doing helping that murderer?” Leander shouted without any fear of being tackled by the legendary solider. ”He’s not a murderer. He was under orders to exterminate any inside personnel who were associated with the terrorists.” Ash told Leander. ”Trust me, your father was working for a rebellious force and was stealing from the military. The GN technology was being leaked and the military couldn’t afford it. So I was assigned to be in control of this eradication of those who weren’t loyal to the military.”.
