Name: Melody Rose Moonshadow

Nicknames: Mel, Melly, Rosie(only her brother can get away with clling her that)

Race: Fairy

Age: 532 years old (approx, 18)

Family: Mother, Dusk; Father, Grey; Twin brother Kiva

Personality: She is usually very kind to others, however, since the attack on her village, she has become very untrusting of strangers, particularly elves. She is very serious but will laugh at herself if she makes a foolish mistake. She can't stand to see other's being picked on, and will defend them if she can. Once a person becomes her friend, she is feircely loyal and will protect them with her life. She is headstrong, and refuses to acknowledge her limits when it comes to her magic, especially now that her brother isn't around to tell her when she has used to much magic. Also, when Melody experiences a large shock, she is frightened by almost anything for awhile. She also keeps a tight reign on her anger for reasons that may soon become apparent.

Appearence: She has violet eyes, the shade of which depend on her mood(example= mad->dark violet; happy->light violet), wavy black hair down to the middle of her back (which she usually keeps braided), very slightly pointed ears, is approx, 5'7", willowy build, large iridescent dragonfly wings which collapse against her back like a cape when she is relaxed, and she wears a knee-length purple dress with pockets spelled to carry a number of objects.

Abilities: Can change into any animal she wishes, has limited (very limited ) control over the element of water, fly, scry, read minds (however, once a person becomes her friend, she respects their privacy and stays out of their mind, making her easy to double-cross), and heal.

Weaknesses: Melody is a vegetarian, and when she is caught off guard by the smell of meat, she becomes very weak and unable to shape-shift. Also, once she trusts somebody, she is very easy to betray since she won't read the minds of her friends.

History: Melly was a fairly happy young fairy who was struggling to gain complete control over some of her forms and over her element when her village was attacked. The attacker, an elf named Tohya, told her that she had two choices: join his boss, or die. While he was keeping her busy, his partner, a dragon named Blackdeath, kidnapped her brother when he went to find the other villagers. Melody, seeing her brother and closet friend being abducted, turned upon the elf. She hit the elf with a energy ball. Because she used too much magic, she fainted. Upon emerging from her coma, she immediatly went hunting for her brother. When she realized that she could no longer scry him, she sought the help of two wolf demons she had made friends with to help her find Artu, the wolf-demon her brother was taken to. Right now, she has been seperated from her companions and is searching for any leads to their or Artu's whereabouts.

Companions: Right now, she is accompanied by the Night Dragin Coal.

Flaws: Doesn't know about her elemental control, and when she loses controlof her temper, she turns into a dragon guided only by fury and instincts.

We still do not know how she did what she did to the elf or if he is even still alive. We also don't know why her village was attacked.

Species: Night Dragon

Age: about 2500 years old

Appearence: She is about the size of a cat, with black scales and white claws and ridge. her eyes are also black

Abilities: Illusions. Casting them, seeing through them, and sharing other peoples illusions/hallucinations.

Attitude: Coal is a very outgoing dragon who makes friends easily. she is also very curious, and at times can be very serious. she can snap, though, if someone calls her a lizard. it comes from people who, used to larger dragons, thought she was a "deformed" lizard and attempted to cut her wings off. She is also very loyal and will not hesitate to protect her friends

History: Coal had a very happy life in her home by the ocean until a couple of human children caught her one day. caught by surprise, she was unable to escape, and the children took her home. Having come from the mountains of the ice dragons, they thought Coal was a deformed lizard, and decided to "help" her by cutting off her wings(she couldn't shapeshift at this time because she hadn't reached the age that they (meaning night dragons) gain their abilities). Before the children could go through with their plan, Coal's mother attacked them. However, in the process of freeing Coal and getting her outside, Coal's mother was fatally wounded. Depressed by her mother's death, Coal wondered through the forests until she met Melody. Unable to face the memories of her home, Coal began to travel with Melody. Finally gaining her shapeshifting abilities, Coal is now trying to figure out her other abilities.

Name:Ashton. He doesn't have a last name yet...

Race:Half dragon, half human

Age:10 years old.

Appearence: Ashton has pale skin, shoulder lentgh black hair that always partially covers eyes that appear to wise for his age. Green eyes with black, cat-like pupils, two horns on his head, green dragon wings, and a scrawny body. His claws must be clipped back each week, or else they become brittle, and he has a scar going diagonally across his chest. He wears a too big, bloodstained shirt, pants, and cloth shoes that he made himself.

History: AShton lived happily with his mother, Princess Serena, and his father, the green dragon Thorn, until he was five. Then, the knight his mother was supposed to marry found them and, mistaking Serena as Thorn in disguise, killed her. ashton, having witnessed everything, attacked the knight. He was cut across the chest, but managed to kill the knight anyway (although he does not remember how. He blacked out while lungeing for him after being cut and regained his consciousness after Thorn came home). after burying serena, Thorn and his son left the realm, and flew here. Now, ashton has gotten seperated from his father, and seeks his whereabouts, or somewhere where he won't be bothered.

Personality: Ashton is friendly, but shy. Having never really encountered humans before, he has no idea that he is a half breed, and has no idea that this might make some people dislike, or even dispise him. He sometimes suffers from nightmares, and his haunting stare may make some peole uncomfortable.

abilities: Dragon strength, fly, and slight plant control(from his dragon side. Thorn could control forests. Ashton can control 2 or 3 plants at a time,) and can "hear" what plants say(like, if someone was sneaking up on him, the plants would "tell" him as long as he rememdered to keep his mind open for them...).

Name: Serlina Half-Shard

Race: Half-elf

Age: She looks to be about twenty...she won't tell me how old she really is...

Appearence: Serlina has a lithe build, blue eyes, waist length brown hair, slightly pointed ears. She always wears dark green shirt and pants. She also wears a bottle of glittering dust on a chain around her neck. With the right words, she can use that dust for just about anything...if she practiced more.

Persnality: Serlina is an assasin. Nothing is more fun to her than to creep up behind some unsuspecting guy and pin him to something with her knife at his throat. More often than not, she will let the guy go...unless he is indeed her target. She won't just kill someone for no reason, and she is selective who she works for. She is currently between jobs.

History: I'm not sure. She refuses to tell me.

Abilities: Is very fast, can move silently, very acrobatic, very good with knives and daggers. She is able to heal, make herself invisable, and extinguish fires with the dust in the bottle, and is currently trying to figure out how to make herself levitate.

Name: Aria

Age: Oh dear...I lose count after the first couple of centuries...ummm...15...16 thousand years old? ...yes, that sounds about right...

Race: I am the wind... the water... the trees... I am... the music of the world.

Sex: Female

Appearence: ...well, since I can change how I look, that is a moot point, no? however, I have a slender, extremely well porportioned build at all times, and am always look gorgeous no matter how I look. I am...simply put...irresitible. Literally.

Abilities: change appearence, irresistible, enchant people with my voice, disappear and reappear at will, and travel on the winds.

History: ...well, I have a lot of history...

Personality: Bubbly, flirtatious, but a bit condescending to mortals. Honest to a fault. Will often chage appearence in the middle of talking to people...

Nickname: None really. "Idiot" from Bryony sometimes. Ritter doesn't like that one for some reason. XD

Family: Parents and younger sister. At least according to his backstory. He doesn't know if they're alive or not.

Personality: Explosive, random, and fiercely agressive. He doesn't like failure or losing or any sort of display of weakness. In short, he's super-macho. (Except...he's rather...too ADD to be a serious character)

Appearance: Ritter is an albino. 'nuff said.

Abilities: Ritter has the ability to go without sleep.

Weaknesses: He's a bit...touchy, I'd say. (Tavalor knows this. XD)

History: He joins up with Bryony one day to defeat Cecilia, an evil...person...who is...just being...evil...

Family: Parents. They died tragically somehow. Bryony's memory is a bit foggy here.

Personality: Peppy. A tad bit impatient. A pretty classic example of a heroine.

Appearance: Brown hair, pink eyes.

Abilities: Bryony has the ability to heal quickly.

Weaknesses: Bryony doesn't listen to any other person's opinions.

History: She joins up with Ritter to...defeat...Cecilia...

Family: Cadence has a healthy happy family she left for reasons even she doesn't remember. It had something to do, though, she recalls, with the sudden disappearance of the family dog.

Personality: Apathetic. Cadence can tend to be a bit on the grumpy side as well. She doesn't like animals.

Appearance: Cadence has amazingly long black hair she keeps up in bao. Her eyes are green. She is also a bit of a pyro.

Abilities: Cadence has the ability to befriend anything.

Weaknesses: Cadence isn't there for her friends sometimes. She is also afraid of the dark.

History: She joins up with Bryony one day to defeat Cecilia, an evil...person...who is...just being...evil...

Age: Four Weeks (looks about nineteen)

Family: His brother Merle.

Personality: Enoch is usually pretty mellow. Except when it comes to Cecilia where he has bouts of violence. He obsesses over what Merle is doing and whether or not Merle is aclimating to being good. Silly Enoch. I'm sure Merle's doing fine.

Appearance: Black hair. Orange eyes. A coat that is shredded at about a little below hip-height.

Abilities: Enoch has the ability to disappear. Like...*poof* gone! He hates doing it though.

Weaknesses: His brother.

History: He and his brother go over to the side of good after Enoch sees how nice it is. They then help the goodguys with their quest against Cecilia.

Companions: Bryony, Cadence, and Ritter.

race: human (wizard. sort of.)

gender: male

appearance: messy hair, slightly wavy, in various shades of blonde, light brown, and gold. eyes that range from light green to a dark grey, with every shade of blue in between. tannish skin, very skinny, pretty tall. has perpetual 9 o'clock shadow. outfit varies, but always has an baggy waist-cropped jacket that's made of pretty much every material available, and very patchworked. the jacket employs the 'billows in the wind when there's no wind effect'. it can also hold more than it can conceivably hold, especially since it has no visable pockets.

history: he tells many stories about his past. It is very hard to tell the false from the true- one must either assume all of them are true, or none of them are.
