Robin walked into the trainer park, smiling gloriously as he observed the area, looking for nothing in particular.

[Bluto]

You get a whiff of fresh pine scent, and you see a landscaper with a Machop and a Tangela planting saplings.

A little past him, you see a man with a cart of kitchen supplies which seems to have crashed into a hot dog cart with a familiar looking vendor with a toque blanche arguing with a middle aged man in a suit.

Further away, you see a street performer with an Abra, doing what looks like a demonstration of Abra's abilities.

[Anubus]

Robin, naturally drawn to the aroma of hotdogs, headed towards the collision, becoming quite curious.

[Bluto]

The flustered felt-man was spewing garbled Sveedish at the man in a suit, who was trying to explain how the no-stick coating on his frying pan would resist even the toughest of messes.

[Anubus]

"Hey! What's going on over here?" robin asked. His eyes drifted to the kitchenware. "That's a nice frying pan. Oooh. Is that stainless steel?"

[Bluto]

"Why yes it is, and for only 3 easy payments of 299 Posts, it could be yours, my friend!" The suited man replied, on an almost automatic pivot to face you.

[Anubus]

"Uh. No thanks. While I have a strangely misplaced appreciation for quality kitchenware, I don't really want any at this time. Thank you anyways, though. What are you doing selling kitchenware in Trainer Park, anyhow?"

[Bluto]

"But wait, if you buy this frying pan, I'll double your offer!" He says, prodding your chest gently with the pan.

[Anubus]

"I said no thanks." robin said, sendin out one of his Pokemon, damon. "hey, actually, if I can beat you in a battle, can I have the frying pan?"

[Bluto]

"No, but I'll give you this novelty mini-pan if you win." he says, pulling a tiny frying pan out of his pocket, and flipping a Poke Ball on it. He flings the Poke Ball onto the ground.

[Anubus]

"You mean a sauté pan, right? Can I get a lid for it? I want a lid." robin asked, while playing with his fuzzball of a Pokemon. He seemed very clear that he wasn't battling until the terms of the pan were clear.

[Helios]

"Use your credit card and we'll add in the lid ABSOLUTELY FREE! The best value in Argeus! Find a cheaper offer and we'll go lower! You won't find better quality either, we import directly from our suppliers in Orre!"

He motioned to the Mr. Mime

"And as I was describing to our fine friend here..."

"Bork?" he piped up

"Watch as we fry a messy, messy mess! Look at this egg!"

Mr. Mime produced an egg from thin air.

"And it is dropped! Messy messy messy!"

"Bork ork yaya Ya!" the chef delared in dismay.

"But fear not, this no stick pan from Kitchen Suppliers Argeus is of superiour quality!" And with that, Mr. Mime took the mini novelty pan, drenched in egg, and instantly it was clean.

"I promise this is no trick! Are you ready for the battle for this wonderful item?" the suited man declared triumphantly.

[Anubus]

Robin grunted. "let's do this. I want the pan..." he tossed his furball pokie at the mr mime and yelled "scratch!"

[Helios]

"Oh, I see, quite the dapper chap! Well then, we ought to show him how a true salesman battles!" the suited man declared to his Mr. Mime.

"Now, losing would be bad for our salary, so we'd better start with a Barrier! Keep the corporate walls high, they always say."

And with that, the battle commenced. Damon attacked first, delivering a solid scratch attack... But as it pulled back to gather energy for another attack, Mr. Mime began to mimic a wall - right between the two battlers, too!
