Title: Don't Bug Me!
Description: Onto the next town

hayhayerin - October 7, 2010 10:27 PM (GMT)
Erin took a deep breath as she entered the forest, she was glad to be on the road again. Bones and Raptor were both out of their Pokeballs enjoying the outdoors. "Ok you two, were heading to the next town now. Before we do that though I want to see if there's a grass type we can fit onto our team. Also I hope this egg will hatch soon."

Erin held the mysterious egg in her arms and started to walk.

Kiyza - October 7, 2010 11:12 PM (GMT)
An odd bit of dust, perhaps pollen of some sort, wafts through the air. Everything is quiet, there are no Pokemon for as far as the eye can see. You begin to feel a little drowzy.

hayhayerin - October 7, 2010 11:57 PM (GMT)
Erin yawned, "I feel sleepy... But we have to keep going." Erin tiredly moved on her two Pokemon starting to look tired also.

Kiyza - October 9, 2010 11:59 PM (GMT)
Your Houndour seemed rather groggy and curled up on the ground. You could hear the little dog snoreing.

hayhayerin - October 10, 2010 12:07 AM (GMT)
Erin yawned once again and then proceeded to return Bones back to her Pokeball, "I'll let you rest then, let's go Raptor." Erin moved along sluggishly trying to keep herself awake while Raptor followed along.

Kiyza - October 10, 2010 12:09 AM (GMT)
Your eyelids are still feeling heavy. Perhaps closing them and taking a quick rest would make you feel a little better. Raptor, too was curled up now with his beak under his wings.

hayhayerin - October 10, 2010 12:12 AM (GMT)
"Well I guess a little rest can't hurt," Erin sat down and leaned back against a tree shutting her eyes for a quick rest.

Kiyza - October 10, 2010 01:34 AM (GMT)
And so you slept for nearly an hour. Upon waking up, you discover that your Starly has gone missing. There's an odd powder on the ground next to you, a light purple in color. A trail of it leads off into the woods.

hayhayerin - October 10, 2010 01:36 AM (GMT)
"Raptor!?" Erin cried out surprised. She decided it would be best to follow to odd substance. While she followed it she kept calling for her bird.

Kiyza - October 10, 2010 01:38 AM (GMT)
She discovered the bird surrounded by a small group of Shroomish. They were plucking some of his feathers off and gathering them into a small pile. There were 3 of the Pokemon in all, the largest of them sitting out from the activities. It seemed to be the one in charge.

hayhayerin - October 10, 2010 01:39 AM (GMT)
"Hey, hey, hey!" Erin cried out to them. She wasn't sure if Raptor was getting hurt from this but she was worried.

Kiyza - October 10, 2010 01:42 AM (GMT)
The two smaller Shroomish seemed rather hostile. One of them rammed into Erin with a Tackle. Upon making contact, bits of some sort of substance fell out of the sides of the Pokemon, sticking onto your skin. It made it much more difficult to move.

"FFFFUUUUUUUUU-" Erin cried out and sent out two Pokemon. Bones and Melon popped out of their balls and looked confused. "BONES EMBER AND MELON WATER GUN." Erin yelled angrily.

Kiyza - October 11, 2010 08:52 PM (GMT)
The first Shroomish was immediately knocked out by the burst of flames from Bones. The second one, however, managed to get in a quick Tackle on Melon right after Melon used Water Gun.

"Bones use Howl and Melon use Water Gun again."

Kiyza - October 11, 2010 10:43 PM (GMT)
The little remaining Shroomish fleed in terror, scrambling back into the woods. No, only the largest one remained. It stood its ground and got ready to fight.

hayhayerin - October 11, 2010 10:46 PM (GMT)
Erin returned Bones to her Pokeball and left Melon out. She wanted the Shroomish with some health for she planned to catch it. "Melon use Water Gun!"

Kiyza - October 11, 2010 10:48 PM (GMT)
The remaining Shroomish stood its ground. After Melon sprayed it with a Water Gun, it delivered a hard Tackle.

Erin whipped out a Pokeball swiftly and chucked it at the Shroomish. She crossed her fingers hoping luck would be on her side.

Kiyza - October 12, 2010 09:16 PM (GMT)
The Pokeball wobbled on its side, shifting its weight left and right until it finally came to a stop. It shook violently for a moment, then clicked close.

Ta~Da! You caught a Shroomish!

Erin started to laugh, "Look Melon a grss type we'll keep on our team. I'm going to call him Coprinus." She returned Melon back to his Pokeball after she said that and walked over to check on Raptor.

Kiyza - October 14, 2010 11:25 PM (GMT)
The little bird didn't seem particularly harmed. However, there was a bare patch of skin on his rear. Though it didn't appear particularly painful, it must have been bothersome to not have any feathers there. The Starly chirped happily as he saw you.

hayhayerin - October 14, 2010 11:28 PM (GMT)
Erin let out a sigh glad to see he wasn't actually hurt. "Raptor glad to see your fine." She pat her bird on the head and returned him to his Pokeball. She wanted him to be safe in there. When she finished that she walked on with a smile on her face from the new Pokemon she caught.

Kiyza - October 14, 2010 11:29 PM (GMT)
The forest seemed silent once again. Perhaps the Shroomish had put all of the Pokemon to sleep, or perhaps something else was going on.

hayhayerin - October 14, 2010 11:31 PM (GMT)
Erin started to feel uncomfortable, the silence was getting to her. "Hey Bones why don't you keep me company." Erin said with a hint of nervousness and send out her Houndour, "It's a bit quiet don't you think girl?'

Kiyza - October 14, 2010 11:42 PM (GMT)
To your left, there was a tree that appeared to quite literally be cut in half. It had splinters of wood sticking up out of what little was left of the trunk. The other half of the tree was lying on its side next to the trunk. Tiny indentations could be seen in some parts of the wood.

hayhayerin - October 14, 2010 11:50 PM (GMT)
"I wonder what could have done this?" Erin asked herself while investigating the tree. Her curiosity overcame her than fear, she wanted to know what had caused the tree to be cut in half. She took a look around, hoping to spot anything else different.

Kiyza - October 24, 2010 05:43 PM (GMT)
Alas, there was nothing behind you. The forest was still quiet and unmoving. The only thing that you noticed was a set of distinct tracks on the ground.

hayhayerin - October 24, 2010 05:49 PM (GMT)
She observed the footprints for a moment, wondering what kind of Pokemon could have left them. "Come on Bones we're going to figure out what Pokemon was able to do this." Erin, with Bones by her side, followed the tracks.

Kiyza - October 24, 2010 08:08 PM (GMT)
The tracks led into a bush that had been cut down in a manner similar to a tree. At the end of the path was extremely large bug with a fierce look in its eye.

:Pinsir:

Perhaps it was marking its territory, or perahps it was just mad.

hayhayerin - October 24, 2010 08:16 PM (GMT)
A grin began to form on Erin's face. The oversized bug would make an interesting addition to her team. "Bones get out there and use Ember," Erin commanded her Pokemon to make herself known to the Pinsir.

Kiyza - October 25, 2010 09:38 PM (GMT)
The Pinsir heartily endured the hit, taking surprisingly minimal damage from it. It glared intensely at Bones and flexed its mucles. [Focus Energy]

"Stay strong Bones, once again show the overgrown bug the power of your Ember."

Kiyza - October 27, 2010 07:41 PM (GMT)
The Pinsir charged at Bones, its massive pincers open and ready to strike. It gripped the little Pokemon by the waist and held it over its head in a Vice Grip. The Houndour yelped in pain, trying to get free, spewing a few Embers, but it couldn't escape the Pinsir's clutches. The Pinsir dropped Bones to the ground, a large gash torn on its side. The little Pokemon was hardly in any condition to fight.

Erin bit her lip and recalled Bones to her ball. The Pinsir badly injured Bones and anger began to swell within her. She chucked another Pokeball and set out Rosy, her odd Bagon. "Rosy prepare yourself," Erin her Pokemon.

Kiyza - October 30, 2010 01:31 AM (GMT)
The Pinsir immediately charged the Bagon upon switching out. Once again, it came in with a fierce Vicegrip. [Critical Hit]
