I disagree. All Final Fantasy games, though each is a different story, holds a firmiliar element. And if you don't like that element, you can clearly say you don't like the series as a whole.
I've tried both Tales of Symphonia and Legendia, and the system of real time alone turns me away from it.
Anyway, I say Final Fantasy. Because I don't see why Zelda must be conceptualized as an RPG in the first place. If that is true then I guess I can call any game with a character walking around hacking and slashing enemies an RPG. That would mean I can call Metroid Prime an RPG, Super Mario 64 an RPG, Megaman Legends an RPG, Bango Kazooie an RPG.
PRG is too widespread. On the basis of it's name in particular. Role playing game. A game with role playing....
Thats rather a vague terminology if I do say so myself.
I suppose because there is a roll for the character Sonic in Sonic Adventure, it's an RPG then?
