If you are making an original character, please remember they HAVE to be associated with one Family or another. They pay taxes to one of them. It can be as simple as who they pay their rent to, or which Family owns the place in which they work. You can even be in the pockets of two, if your character is shifty enough. But they must at least outwardly fly the colours of one Family.
In addition, occupations for original characters can be something relevant, like receptionist at the Olympus Tower, singer at Echoes of Us, chef at the Bell and Tiger, doctor at the hospital, etc. Most locations that are owned/managed by someone do have this listed in their forum descriptions, but please PM a staff member to check if you'd like to have your character in such a position.
We also currently have LOTS of assassins, so please think creatively with your character's occupation. We do not want any super-awesome, multi-talented-phwoar-best-of-the-best assassins. So don't make them. At this stage, we are also not accepting: Beedles Books employees, gun-runners/traders and serial killers.
If you are making a canon, please remember these are already part of a bigger story involving other characters. Only take a canon if you intend to be long-term and post frequently.
I'm pretty easy-going with most PBs but I'm not a fan of internet celebrities. Let's try and steer away from these! However, if you make a great case, I might be inclined to accept the PB.
