...I'm sorry I put that before actual GC news.
In actual GC-related news, there are a few items of note. The first is that the character limit has been extended to 8. So if you are at your limit you are welcome to make a new character as long as you are up to date and coping with the ones you already have!
Joni (Scott Fields, Joseph Diamond) has had to leave us due to a busy rl schedule. But fear not! When things are more settled she has plans to return to us - and she'd better, or we'll scour the internet for her and drag her back. Many of you will know that she's been with us a long time and GC won't be the same without her.
The Second Annual GC Academy Awards nominations are now open. Please visit the thread and follow the guidelines to send your nominations in. We had a pretty good response last year but I'm hoping for an even bigger one this time around. Remember, this isn't a popularity contest: it's showcasing some of the finer and funniest moments at GC. It's also passing the mantle from last year's Miss GC (Dani!) to the new Miss or Mister GC ... who will it be this time around? Nominations are only open until October 21st so don't wait!
There are still delays with the PM notification system. Please keep this in mind for both sending and receiving responses.
I'm going to be away all next week, so please if you have any queries to forward them to the other staff members.
