The following are the rules for Lou's Inferno. They are made by Divider By Zero, but are open for change by the other admins as they see fit. If I or the other admins catch members breaking the rules, they will be verbally warned if it is their first offense. If they persist, they shall be physically warned. Banning is to be decided by the staff.

1) Rules
This goes without saying. Follow the rules. We will not hesitate to ban you if you continuously break the rules.

2) Spamming
Spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying messages. Do not post unimportant, unintelligent messages.

3) Flaming
Flaming is pretty much a term for insulting other members. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

4) Trolling
Trolling is inciting flames. Basically, it's asking for insults, usually in an annoying fashion. If you're a member who never insults people and the like, you won't have a problem with this.

5) Innuendo
Don't hint at sexual stuff and you'll be fine.

6) Double accounts
If any of the staff finds a member with a double account, they will be dealt with as the staff member sees fit. If a sibling is to join the forum with the same IP address, contact one of us first.

7) Bumping
Don't "bump", or post in a month old topic. This is a minor offense, but gets more serious the longer apart the two posts are.

8) Advertising
Do not blatantly advertise or adverise outside the respective forum.

9) Video signatures
While most of us have cable or DSL, there are a select few that have dial up. Video signatures could and probably would cause them to encounter some problems. There is to be a maximum of 2 small video objects in sigs. That is all.

10) Respect
Treat others how you'd like to be treated. Respect each other.

11) Staff
Pay attention to what the staff says. They're staff for a reason.

12) Begging
Please do not beg to be staff. Begging will lower your chances of becoming staff.

13) Editing
If a staff members edits your post, leave it as is. It is likely edited for a reason.

14) Spoilers
If there is talk about a new game that's out, please, don't spoil it for others. Spoilers without warning will be result in a warning. Use the spoiler tags!

15) Personal information
We are a caring forum. As such, we do not want our members to expose themselves in a possibly dangerous manner. Do not submit personal infomation that can be used to stalk you, such as street address, city, and the like unless it is a necessity.

16) User issues
If you have an issue with another user, please settle it with them privately. Don't make a scene.

17) Plagiarism
Do not take someone's work and claim it is your own. This is a violation of the rules and is wrong. This shall be treated as a serious offense.
