| Hello, I am alexceasar and I am a fanfiction addict. I'm also a chocaholic. My username on most sites is alexceasar so if you have seen that before, its me.
I started reading fanfiction in 2004 with Roswell. I especially liked crossovers. I later branched out into Buffy, Stargate, General Hospital, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Harry Potter and now Supernatural. I don't really remember the first GH fic I read.
I tend to read long stories with many chapters and for some reason I have noticed that I like the dark characters or the not so sweet innocent ones. I find them more interesting. They do have more fun. I also like a good piece of angst that has to be written just right so that it is conflict but not whining. I like fluff sometimes too.
I like unusual plotlines and twisting stories that you never know what is going to happen next. I do write some fiction but I donít post it that often, because I want the piece to be completed before I start so I don't end up halfway through with no idea where to go from there. When I do post it is usually on fanfiction.net
I tend to be okay with most GH ships that are not completely off the wall (i.e. Jason/Bobbie, Sonny/Jax) I usually read Jason/Carly or Spencer/Cassadine centered fics. I have been a Jarly fan since pretty much the beginning. I had to stop watching for awhile, I couldn't take the Carson saga any longer as well as the whole Liason drama. Sonny's character is just so maddening to me, how he called Carly a whore when he was the one always sleeping around and getting other women pregnant. Maurice is such a good actor though. And I have never really been a fan of Liz (mostly because she was too self righteous when she was younger). I hate how she is still coming off the sweet one when she is doing the same thing she reamed Carly for doing all those years ago (passing her son off as another man's). I have issues with hypocrisy.
I have really enjoyed Sarah's portrayal of Claudia so far and hope to see her more with Jason. The characters go together so wonderfully. As well as the actors working together, I love the chemistry Sarah and Steve have.
As for real-life, I am a born and raised Texan. (And no I do not sound like a complete idiot every time I open my mouth like our fearless leader.) My motherís family is from Louisiana (so I have a little raging Cajun thing going sometimes) and my father for Brooklyn, NY. I am a New Orleans Saints fan (that right all you fair weather fans; I am a real fan of my team. I love them even though they lose all the time!).
I like horseback riding, ice skating, reading, watching movies, scrap booking; traveling and playing with my pets (I have two dogs, two ferrets and one cat).
My favorite books include The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, Tess of the D'urbavilles by Thomas Hardy, Desiree by Annamarie Selinko.
Favorite Movies include Guys and Dolls, The Quiet Man, Braveheart and Cleopatra (I know, that one embarrasses me).
Favorite TV shows: Medium, Battlestar Galatica, Supernatural, House (that man is so funny, I wish I could get away with saying the stuff he does), Life, Dead Like Me, Burn Notice and Clean House.
I enjoy almost all music with the exception of heavy metal and most rap as I can never understand what they are saying. And most rap is about drugs, sleeping around, killing and thugs. I usually listen to top 40 or Oldies. I like Pink, Rhianna, Maroon 5, Nickleback, Rascall Flatts, Simple Plan. I also like to listen to Latin rhythms and swing music. (Totally my parents fault!)
Anyway, hello all. I look forward to chatting with all of the lovely people here.

| to the board.
I love Jarly! It seems that we have most of the same tastes.
I'm postive that you're going to fit right in.
P.S. If you need anything, let me know.
