Mac: Yes, Mayor Floyd, I heard you the first 100 times. No, if you want to send me a memo, send me a memo. Jackass. Hi, you are a pleasant surprise on a so far crappy day.
Anna: Well, thank you. I don't know that I am going to make it any better, I'm afraid.
Anna: We have a bit of a crisis on our hands.
Robin: Epiphany, I need a complete blood panel and ultrasound on Mr. Alvarez.
Epiphany: You already ordered that.
Epiphany: You ordered those tests. It's right there on the chart.
Robin: Right, well, put a rush on them.
Epiphany: You already did that, too.
Robin: Well, they're not back yet, are they? Do whatever you need to do to get the test results in the doctor's hands. Is that clear?
Epiphany: Dr. Scorpio, are you okay?
Robin: I'm fine. I'm just trying to get something done around here.
Patrick: When I came in this morning, I asked for Mrs. Siegel's chart to be pulled and on my desk. I just got back from my office and it's not there. Is there a reason why my orders aren't being taken seriously?
Epiphany: Okay, flag on the damn play here. Just so I have an idea of how the rest of my day is going to go, what is the problem with you two, and what are the chances that you're going to work it out before I have to run screaming out of here?
Jax: Whoops, sorry.
Jax: Oh, I am sorry.
Jax: You got a couple of pieces.
Carly: Were you watching me?
Jax: I can't tell a lie. I was. I couldn't help it. I just -- I love the way your mind works.
Jason: No, set it up, okay? I want every single lieutenant front and center -- 8 p.m., Bernie. Thank you.
Max: Got a minute?
Jason: For you or for Sonny?
Max: I'm not here on Mr. C's behalf.
Jason: Okay, good. I'm glad to hear that, because tensions are escalating between me and Sonny and your loyalties are going to be tested.
Max: Do you know who my father is?
Jason: No, I donít. You've never mentioned your father.
Max: Does the name Maximus Giambetti mean anything to you?
Jason: That's your father?
Max: See your reaction right there? That's why I never talk about him.
Jason: Well, I knew that you were a Giambetti, but I didn't know you were his son. And Milo? Wow.
Max: Intimidating. Big shoes to fill. Lots to live up to.
Jason: Why -- why are you telling me this, Max?
Max: Look, my father decided he wants to come for a visit, but there's a very small problem. I -- I told him I'm the one who's running the Port Charles mob.
Carly: I narrowed it down to these two colors.
Jax: Let me guess. For the solarium and the new spa addition?
Carly: Yes, but since the windows are boarded up because of the construction, I had to come down here for the sunlight.
Jax: I already knew all that as soon as I saw you floating around here with that look on your face. You know -- the one you get when you're visualizing.
Carly: Well, it's -- it's nice to be so known. Which one would you choose?
Jax: I'd probably go with, um --
Carly: Oh, let me guess. Blue-green, because it reminds you of the color of the water in Fiji.
Jax: Well, if I were to commemorate a honeymoon, I would go with the rosy red.
Jax: Color of your butt after you sat on that sea urchin.
Carly: You're never going to let me live that down. That could have happened to anybody.
Jax: Oh, I beg to differ. That was an urchin of particular taste. He zeroed in on the finest butt in Fiji.
Alexis: I was in the restaurant waiting for you.
Jax: I'm sorry. I -- we had a meeting.
Carly: Doesn't take a genius to figure out what that meeting's about -- our divorce.
Nikolas: I'm glad you called. You left the hospital so suddenly last night.
Nadine: Yeah, well. When you gotta go, you gotta go. I didn't mean it to sound like that.
Nikolas: Well, I was kind of hoping myself that you came back to Wyndemere.
Nadine: Well, it's a good thing I didnít.
Nadine: Well, if I wouldn't -- gone back there, I would have been too distracted to realize how much pain I was in.
Nadine: Well --
Nikolas: I don't follow.
Nadine: Well, as you know, yesterday I took a total face plant. You witnessed that. It was mortifying. Well, what else is new? Anyway, I wound up at the hospital as a patient. Matt Hunter prescribed pain pills, but they didn't work. I was up all night last night with this horrible headache. Whereas, if I had been at Wyndemere I would have been awake for totally different reasons.
Anna: Robin's made a breakthrough. You know, she's finally gotten out of her own way for once. Not only has she admitted and accepted the fact that she does, indeed, want to marry Patrick, she also proposed to him.
Mac: Wait, don't tell me. Let me guess. He turned her down?
Anna: Flat. Are they perverse or what? I mean, it's enough to drive you crazy. Those two cannot stop second-guessing and psychoanalyzing each other long enough to actually be happy.
Mac: It's a strange kind of mating dance -- but, whatever works.
Anna: It's not working, is it? You know, Robin has made this huge case against marriage -- so much so that Patrick is now completely convinced that if they get married it will stifle her. He also thinks that this proposal was a sort of emotional reaction to some recent upheavals, and if they did get married, she would eventually regret it.
Mac: Look, I usually don't come down on Patrickís side, but how can I fault a guy for giving a woman what she said she wanted?
Anna: I know. I'm not asking you to fix this. Lord knows life is too short, but Robin is really devastated by his rejection. I mean, she's not admitting it and life is hunky dory and all that, but I know better and so do you. So, I've already talked to her, and now I think it's your turn.
Epiphany: I like you both. You're two of the finest doctors I've ever had the privilege of working with. You're good human beings, and you're probably going to make exceptional parents. A little over indulgent maybe, but that's neither here nor there. So, I'm asking you nicely -- work out your problems on your own time. Now, your tests have already been ordered and rushed, and here's your chart. I was bringing it to your office when I got waylaid by Dr. Scorpio ordering the same tests for a second time, with an attitude no less. Now, will there be anything else?
Epiphany: Thank you. I think I need a break.
Robin: Is my face red?
Patrick: Yeah, we kind of deserved that one.
Robin: Yes, we did okay, I need to say something.
Robin: I was really disappointed that you turned down my proposal, even though I completely respect and understand why you did what you did. It doesn't change the fact that I love you, and I'm totally committed to raising our child together. So, in the mean time, I will be more professional so that we do not get yelled at by Epiphany again. Okay.
Jason: Okay, Max, I -- listen, I am sorry that you are in some kind of bind right now, but Sonny's trying to poach my lieutenants. I need to figure out who's loyal and who is not loyal, and I do consider you a good friend, but technically you are working for a guy who is trying to take over my organization.
Max: What's happening between you and Mr. C is terrible and wrong, okay? If I could do anything to stop it, I would, but I canít. And -- and -- I kind of got some big problems of my own right now.
Milo: Did he agree to help?
Max: Jason isn't appreciating the magnitude of the situation. Which is why, busy or not, you have to hear me out so you'll understand --
Jason: Okay, Max, okay. Just make it fast.
Max: Since you know who my father is, you must be familiar with at least some of his history.
Jason: Yeah, Maximus Giambetti. Legendary old-school gangster. He's feared, ruthless, and deported.
Max: Right, right, and he's been in retirement in Palermo for close to 20 years. I figured there's no way he could ever even come back to the states.
Milo: I think what Max is trying to say here, is that he was hoping that Dad wouldn't find out about his lying through his front teeth.
Jason: So, what does this have to do with me?
Max: Dad doesn't like surprises, and he's on his way.
Lucky: Elizabeth? I'm surprised she's not home.
Sam: Well, I'm actually glad that she isn't, because it's not a good idea to just walk into a woman's house without any warning. She could be busy.
Lucky: Yeah, well, I didn't think about that.
Sam: That's a typical male.
Lucky: Yeah, well, you know what? Maybe I should call her. See how long she's going to --
Sam: No, come on. Just -- just let her be. The kids are crabby and cranky and a little bit tired. We'll just put them down and wait for her.
Lucky: You -- you don't mind?
Sam: Of course not. Why would I?
Lucky: Well, you know, big boys weekend. Thought you'd might, you know, be tired.
Sam: No. Not even close. I actually love having you and all your sons all to myself.
Alexis: You and Carly haven't been married a long time, but you've acquired a lot of real estate, which, of course, is community property. So, I'm -- I'm thinking the hotel in Montreal.
Jax: That was a gift to Carly. Montreal is a special place for us.
Alexis: It's not a good idea.
Jax: I don't care.
Alexis: I care. You're paying me to care, and I'm advising you to rethink this misguided idea that you have.
Jax: Whose money is it?
Jax: Thank you. Nothing further, Your Honor.
Carly: You know, I hate to interrupt. I don't want the hotel in Montreal. Here's the solution. You keep it. I'll take the Metro Court.
Jax: Uh -- give us a minute.
Jerry: Oh. Why is a nasty frown marring those otherwise delectable features?
Alexis: Because Carly has already broken his heart. She shouldn't be able to rob him blind, too.
Nadine: That probably sounded like I was making assumptions, and you know what they do. It could have been completely different.
Nikolas: What could be completely different about what?
Nadine: Well, I -- I could have stayed in the guest room and still have been unable to sleep -- same outcome, different location. Doesn't have to hinge on making love or having sex. Let's not make this a bigger deal than what it is, -- um, right? I mean, not that you would have wanted me, anyway. I mean, God. I'm not exactly sex goddess of the universe with this bruised and battered face. Not that we're even talking about sex.
Nikolas: Oh, we're not?
Nadine: No. Um, no. This -- this is about the counterfeit drugs that I got from General Hospital. Yes. Which means that, despite all of the precautions we've been taking, these drugs are still getting through. So, we need to step up the investigation. What I am telling you is to keep your ears open and, um, let me know if you hear anything, okay?
Jason: I -- I still don't understand what you're asking me to do.
Max: Bottom line -- okay, my father got his hands on a fake passport. He's going to be here soon. All of a sudden he wants to visit both of his sons. The good news is he'll only be here for a few days. So, I just need you to help me out while --
Jason: Hold -- hold -- hold on. Yeah?
Elizabeth: Hey, it's me.
Elizabeth: I need to see you. Can you come to my studio?
Jason: Right now?
Elizabeth: If you can.
Jason: Yeah, yeah, sure. I'll be right over.
Max: So --
Diane: Jason, I have reviewed all the contracts concerning the division of assets between you and Sonny, and I can assure you they are iron clad --
Jason: Okay, we're going to discuss this later. I got to -- I got to be somewhere right now.
Max: No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait. I'm not done here.
Jason: Okay, can you -- can you do me a favor and just figure out what Max is asking me to do. Find out if I can help, and just bill me for however long it takes, okay?
Diane: Getting paid to spend time with my guy?
Diane: Why do I love my job?
[Max groans in pain]
Diane: Sweetheart, you look upset.
Milo: He should.
Max: You think this is funny?
Diane: What in the world is going on?
Max: You people have no idea what is about to hit the fan.
Jerry: Do I detect an edge of cynicism?
Alexis: What can I say? Carly brings out the best in me.
Jerry: Well, I happen to have a higher opinion of Carly than you do. As far as this breakup is concerned, I'm far more optimistic.
Alexis: Are you? You're optimistic? That's funny.
Jerry: I guess it's part and parcel of the new improved me.
Alexis: How gullible exactly do you think I am?
Jerry: Well, I happen to believe that, you know, Jax and Carly are going through a bit of a rough patch. They may even believe that they're over.
Alexis: That's usually what divorce indicates.
Jerry: Well, it can also be temporary, you know? A way to may a break, to reassess the damages, make the appropriate adjustments.
Alexis: You think they're going to get back together?
Jerry: Well, my brother is incredibly good at winning, and when he realizes that he is going to win bigger by having Carly at his side, he'll woo her back within an inch of her life.
Alexis: If you encourage that in any way, I will kill you. I'm not kidding. I will. It's going to be ugly, too. Won't be pretty.
Jerry: I'm sure.
Jax: I can't believe you're turning your nose up at the Belle Maison. You love that place.
Carly: I love this place more.
Jax: You love this place more. Well, I don't want to sell my shares, okay?
Carly: Well, I don't want a divorce, but I don't seem to have a say so in that, and since you're going through with this, and we have to split our assets, my preference is the Metro Court. I don't want to move.
Jax: Well, I don't want to move either.
Mac: Hey, no sleeping on the job.
Robin: Hi. Are you clairvoyant? Because you're exactly the person that I need to see right now.
Mac: Well, I'd like to take credit for my unerring instinct, but Anna told me you might be feeling a little down. So, I thought I'd come by and try to cheer you up.
Robin: Mission accomplished.
Mac: I brought a smoothie -- raspberry.
Robin: Yum, thank you. What's in the bag?
Mac: Oh, take a guess.
Robin: Chocolate chip cookies?
Mac: Give the pregnant lady a prize.
Robin: I'll settle for the cookies. Mm. Chocolate chip cookies -- the all purpose remedy. You know, this reminds me of all the zillion times that you would bring them home and make me feel better.
Mac: Yeah, well, I did bring them by just as many times as a bribe, remember? I mean, I was flying blind for awhile -- no clue? So, bribery was a perfectly acceptable response.
Robin: You learned fast, though.
Mac: I had a great teacher. Robin, you are the smartest, bravest person I know, and I am your biggest fan. So, know something going in -- no matter what you do, or have done, it's going to be all right.
Robin: What I've done is made a mess of everything.
Diane: My darling, you are many things. You are tall, handsome, charming, flexible, sweet, gallant. Did I mention flexible? The thing you are not, most assuredly, is a fraud. Honesty and guilelessness are two of your most attractive qualities.
Milo: You might want to ask dear old dad what he thinks when he finds out that Max here is only a lowly bodyguard -- just like me.
Max: How many times are you going to play that broken record, Dumbkoff? Dad was deported out of the country. How the hell was I supposed to know he would ever come back? For 20 years, we've been the ones who've traveled. Always, vacation meant a trip to Palermo. Never once the other way around. Now, all of a sudden, he's here --
Diane: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- wait a minute. Wait a minute. Stop. Slow down. Back up. What -- what do you mean your father was deported? What do -- wh -- wh -- am I afraid to ask this question?
Max: Probably. My father is Maximus Giambetti.
Milo: Mine, too.
Diane: You got to be kidding me. Maximus Giambetti was one of the most notorious mobsters of modern time.
Milo: A legend.
Max: And so good at his job law enforcement was never able to convict him of anything. So, they had to settle for booting him out of the country.
Diane: Why haven't you ever told me this?
Max: It was never a factor who my father was.
Diane: But he was your father, and this is a very interesting missing puzzle piece. So, go ahead, enlighten me.
Max: Well, after my parents divorced, I stayed in the states with my mother.
Milo: I did, too.
Diane: You had different mothers?
Max: Oh, his was wife number --
Milo: I was four.
Diane: How many are we talking?
Max: Seven. Dad's final divorce was finalized the day I left Palermo.
Maximus: You call this an empire?
Lucky: You are amazing.
Sam: Thank you. Why? Huh?
Lucky: Elizabeth and I have tried every trick in the book to get Cameron down in the middle of the afternoon for a nap, but nothing ever worked.
Sam: Ah, would you like to know my secret?
Sam: Okay, so, I may have put a little bug in Cameronís ear about the obscure fact that you could actually grow while you are sleeping, and that he needed to be at least three more inches before I could teach him how to steer a ship.
Sam: Thank you.
Lucky: One tiny flaw.
Sam: What's that?
Lucky: Well, at some point, Cameronís going to realize that you and Elizabeth are both very -- short.
Sam: Ah! I am not short.
Lucky: Well, either Cameronís got to assume or realize one day that you -- naps just don't work or you and Elizabeth just got away with never taking any.
Sam: I can't believe you. Okay, fine. I may be a little short, but I am mighty.
[Knocking on door]
Elizabeth: I was going to toss this and decided not to. Thought maybe I'd keep it as a memento of the trip to Italy I almost took with you.
Jason: Elizabeth, I'm sorry.
Elizabeth: Then I realized that you actually paid for this. So, here. It's yours. You can do whatever you want with it.
Jason: I bought it for you. You can, you know, keep it -- trade it in.
Elizabeth: And do what? Go to Italy by myself? Cash it in and go shopping?
Jason: You can do whatever you want.
Elizabeth: It never turns out the way I want.
Jason: I was looking so forward to going away with you, spending time together alone, away from -- just everything that's going on. But now more chaos has erupted because Kate got shot, and Sonny wants to start a war and I refuse --
Elizabeth: And I'm sure it's very dire and urgent and, for the record, I realize I am being completely selfish here. But, still. I just have to ask -- does all this mean you're never going to have time for me?
Robin: It figures, right? The second I decide that I really, really want to marry Patrick, he finally believes that I donít. I mean -- we give new meaning to the word "irony."
Mac: I can understand why your first instinct was to reject marriage. It scares you.
Robin: It scares everybody.
Mac: To a degree. Robin, look, I don't want to sound like a shrink or anything, but you have some serious abandonment issues. Right? You've had to learn early on how to be self-sufficient. You've spent most of your life learning not to depend on anyone but yourself. I mean, to turn everything over -- your life, your baby -- to a flake like Patrick must terrify you.
Robin: Wait a minute. He is not a flake.
Mac: He turned down your proposal.
Robin: Because he doesn't think that I really want to marry him.
Mac: In Patrickís world, a person's not allowed to change their mind.
Robin: It's a lot more complicated than that and you know it.
Mac: It usually is with women. You'd think I'd know that by now.
Robin: Yeah, well, Maxie and Georgie and I tried to give you the best education possible.
Mac: And the rules change so often, I can hardly keep up.
Robin: Well, see, then out of all people, you should be able to sympathize with Patrick.
Mac: Yeah, well, I might, but you're heart's on the line.
Robin: That's why I love you. Because no matter how big a fool I've been, you always find a way to stick by me. I should have just listened to you the first time you told me to marry Patrick when I had the chance.
Mac: Okay, well, you can make up for it now by hearing me when I say everything is going to work out.
Robin: Think so?
Mac: I know so.
Matt: Closed for renovations, huh?
Nadine: What are you doing here?
Matt: Well, I can't just sit around and do nothing. It's not in my nature.
Nadine: Have the police been in contact with you about the fire?
Matt: They found some sort of detonator or remnants thereof.
Nadine: Do they think it's arson?
Matt: Looks that way.
Nadine: Guess someone's not too happy with our suspicions into the drug ring.
Matt: Yeah, well that's an understatement. We could have both been killed.
Nadine: Well, it makes it even more imperative that we catch these guys. Do you remember anything at all before you passed out?
Matt: Anything? Uh, yes, actually I remember a pair of shoes.
Nadine: Anything distinguishing?
Matt: They were black. Oh, and they had some sort of dragon insignia on them. Yeah, it was weird. Why?
Nadine: I feel like I've seen those somewhere recently.
Jerry: However intriguing the thought of torture at your lovely hands, I have no intention of injecting myself or my opinions into Jax's relationship with Carly. I mean, who am I to give advice? I mean, my personal life has pretty much been a personal disaster. Until now, of course, darling.
Alexis: Because we're so perfectly matched.
Jerry: Yes, where it counts.
Alexis: I wasn't referring to sex.
Jerry: Oh, we could go upstairs and have some.
Alexis: I canít.
Jerry: Why not?
Alexis: I'm on the clock.
Jerry: I'll be quick.
Alexis: No fun for me.
Jerry: I'll be quick and creative.
Alexis: See, now that's tempting.
Jerry: Oh, come on, give into your basic nature. It's good for the soul.
Alexis: Well, why don't you keep it warm for me. I've got to go to work. I take it we won't be discussing your divorce today.
Jax: I'm sorry -- I'm sorry that I wasted your time.
Alexis: Please don't make a habit of it. Call my office, and we'll reschedule. In the meantime, I'm going to advise you to stifle the urge to make an early Christmas present out of your assets.
Jax: Well, I'm going to take my attorney's advice. I'm going to keep interests in both of the hotels. So, I guess when it comes to business, we're stuck with each other.
Max: Welcome to my territory, Dad.
Maximus: You show me your hand. Come over here.
Milo: Hey, Dad. How you doing?
Maximus: Good to be home, Mario.
Milo: Um, it's Milo. It's Milo.
Maximus: So who's the beauty?
Max: Oh, this is my lawyer, Diane Miller. Diane Miller, meet my father Maximus Giambetti.
Diane: It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Giambetti.
Maximus: What a great day to be newly single.
[Diane laughs nervously]
Jason: See, this is exactly why I didn't want us to start up again. It's not -- it's not fair, Elizabeth. You deserve a full commitment from me, and that's not something that I'm able to give you. I'm not necessarily proud of what I do, but I'm running things now, and there's a lot of people who depend on me. And if I screw up, they will die. Okay? I'm not going to sit here and make excuses about that because it's a life that I chose. And despite what Sonny tried to do, once you make that choice, there is no turning back. So I can't -- I can't stand here and promise you that things will ever change or even get better.
Elizabeth: Why not just give the organization back to Sonny?
Jax: What business do you have in this hotel?
Nikolas: What? Anyone who walks through the door has to state their business?
Jax: No, just you.
Nikolas: Well, not that I owe you an explanation, Jax, but I'm here because Carly's assistant called me and asked me to stop by.
Nikolas: I guess I'll find out when I go upstairs.
Jax: Turn around and leave, Nikolas. Carly has nothing to say to you.
Nikolas: Do you make a habit of speaking for Carly? Or actually a better question would be -- is she aware of it?
Jax: No, I just don't want you snooping around my hotel. Or manipulating Carly into a business arrangement that she doesn't need or want.
Nikolas: Well, I'm going to need to hear that from her. You see, I respect Carly's ability to open her mouth and say what she means.
Jax: I'm warning you, Nikolas. You back off while you still have the chance.
Nadine: Housekeeping. Anyone in here?
Sam: Maybe we should rethink this.
Sam: Why? Because the kids are upstairs, and we're in Elizabethís house. And anybody can walk in from any direction, at any time.
Lucky: Yeah, that's a good point.
Sam: Oh, my gosh. Okay, as much as I love taking this trip with you and the boys, it has been the most frustrating week of my life.
Lucky: I should have warned you.
Sam: Warned me? Come on, you cannot tell me that you haven't been frustrated too.
Lucky: So does this make you not want to do this again?
Sam: No. No -- not -- yes, I would love to. I actually can't wait, because I forgot how it was like to actually coexist with kids. How they can completely change your life. How you have to constantly be aware of where they are and what they're doing at any given moment, especially when daddy and Sam are trying to get a little nookie. Oh, my goodness. I hope we didn't freak Cam out when he saw us kissing.
Lucky: No, no, no, he understands you're my girlfriend. And that means we kiss. And I'm sure he will be fine with it. What?
Sam: You just called me your girlfriend.
Elizabeth: Kate's ICU room was mob information central. I mean, just from working there I heard enough to know what's going on. Sonny wants revenge on whoever shot Kate. What I don't understand is what does holding on to an organization that you didn't even want in the first place give you? Why can't you just step down? Give it back to Sonny.
Jason: I can't do that.
Elizabeth: Why not?
Jason: Because things are too unstable right now. I don't trust Sonny to make the right decisions. He never does when he acts out of anger. And if I don't do what I feel is right, and I just give Sonny the business back, and that's the easy way out, I'm a coward.
Elizabeth: God, Jason, that doesn't even make sense. Why is it cowardly to let yourself be happy?
Jason: With everything I've done, do I deserve to be happy? I just wish we had made it to Italy.
Carly: Great, you guys are here. We can hammer out the details.
Jax: Oh, yeah, let's have a friendly conversation about hammering out the details. That sounds great.
Carly: I realize that we've been operating with some tunnel vision. Which is kind of surprising since you pride yourself with thinking out of the box. And Nikolas, I don't know you very well, but I do know you come from a very eccentric family -- kind of crazy. So, I would think that creative thinking would come naturally to you. And guess what? It's going to have to if we're going to make this work.
Nikolas: I'm almost afraid to ask.
Jax: Then don't, because whatever this is, it's not going to happen anyway.
Carly: Well, there you go making pronouncements again. And I'm sure you're operating with some good intentions. But you don't get to tell me what to do.
Nikolas: Well, I'm still interested in hearing what you're proposing.
Carly: Good. Because I'm thinking about selling you half my shares of the Metro Court.
Jerry: I can't wait to hear your explanation for this.
Robin: Things ain't all that bad, right? I mean, Patrick completely rejected me while I stood there, begging him to marry me. But that's okay, because we truly love each other. We're having a baby girl together. I have great friends. I have my amazing family. And what's so great about a wedding, anyway? I mean, it's just stressful, right?
Mac: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Robin: I love you.
Mac: I love you, too.
Mac: Excuse me.
Robin: Whoa. Hey, what are you doing?
Mac: You are under arrest.
Patrick: What? Mac, for what?
Mac: Failure to yield to my niece.
Carly: Nikolas made me an excellent offer, and I'm inclined to take it.
Jax: Well, selling out to Nikolas is not in the best interest of the Metro.
Nikolas: She wouldn't be selling out.
Carly: No, I love this place. I want to stay involved. Nikolas would be buying half my shares.
Jax: Like hell he is.
Jerry: Dear, dear, dear, you are an intrepid little thing. Playing detective, as if it was a game. As if no harm could possibly befall you. Now at last for you -- I have a long history of amoral -- and some would say psychotic behavior. As your friend Nikolas knows well. Now let's get down to business. You broke into my hotel room to find some illicit drugs. Luckily for you I have some right here.
Lucky: That wasn't the first time I've called you my girlfriend.
Sam: Yes, it is. I would have remembered.
Lucky: No, I told Cameron. What, you don't like the word?
Sam: No -- I like the word. It just, um -- it struck me that's all. It's just so -- so official.
Lucky: I kind of thought we were.
Sam: We are. Look -- we are, of course -- I know it's silly. We've been together for months. It's just -- it's really weird to hear you say it out loud. Girlfriend.
Lucky: Yeah. So how do you think of me?
Sam: Huh? Let me think. Well, I don't know, kind of like the best surprise I ever had. Look, it is no secret that you and I got together out of a rebound. We had to stick it to Elizabeth and Jason. And me personally, I was looking for someone to hold on to -- to sort of get me through the night while I was sad and very lonely. But -- over time you became so much more. You are actually the one I count on. And I just don't think that boyfriend covers it. Am I right? It should scare me to death, but instead it -- it makes me oddly happy.
Lucky: I know the feeling.
Jason: Yeah, I told you I can't deal with --
Maximus: What kind of an organization are you running here? Doesn't anybody show you respect?
