Claudia: Could you please page the woman that runs the boutique for me? My dress was supposed to be ready before the wedding.
Carly: You're going to Sonny's wedding?
Claudia: I wouldn't miss it. You, too, huh?
Maxie: The alterations were supposed to be finished, and the dress was supposed to delivered to Maxie Jones at the Harbor View Towers. I am Ms. Howard's maid of honor. If I don't show up at that church wearing a couture, one-of-a-kind designed dress, specifically made for Ms. Howard's attendant, someone's going to be dead. What do you mean you don't have the dress?
Olivia: Looking for this?
Maxie: I'm sorry. Who are you? And why are you wearing that dress?
Olivia: Maid of honor. And the bride's cousin. I'm Olivia Falconeri.
Kate: It is just perfect.
Wedding planner: Well, that's what you pay me for. Oh, no, no. Those won't do at all.
Kate: Actually, is there a card? Because it might be something my father-in-law sent, and I don't want to offend him.
Sonny: What are you doing?
Sonny: You're the last person I expected to see today.
Jason: I won't stay long, but we need to talk.
Diane: Oh, there you are. Look, I need a clutch to go with my dress, and I'm just a little bit desperate.
Boutique manager: I'll be right with you, Ms. Miller. Carly?
Boutique manger: This one is yours.
Carly: Lori, that's cutting it close.
Lori: Ms. Zacchara, this one is yours.
Claudia: Mm. Thank you.
Carly: Well, I will see you at the wedding.
Maxie: Kate mentioned her cousin Olivia once.
Olivia: Really? I guess I should honored my name came up at all.
Maxie: I'm just surprised she asked you to be her maid of honor at the last minute.
Olivia: Well, it was really Sonny that made the arrangements.
Maxie: Oh, that explains a lot.
Olivia: Such as?
Maxie: Well, why Sonny didn't tell Kate you were coming. Sonny probably wanted to surprise her.
Olivia: Yeah, I keep hearing that. I'm thinking maybe I should have popped out of the cake or something.
Maxie: I'm sorry. I'm Maxie Jones, Kate's first assistant.
Olivia: Sorry to steal your thunder. It wasn't my idea.
Maxie: That's okay. I was a last minute substitute anyway. The dress looks great on you. Can I help you with anything?
Olivia: Well, I guess I'm supposed to be helping the bride get ready, so --
Maxie: Everything is already at the church. The dress, the accessories, the make-up, alternative choices. You know how Kate is if the lipstick isn't the exact shade.
Olivia: Won't this be fun. I guess I ought to get to the church.
Maxie: No, actually her stylist is probably starting her.
Olivia: Making the maid of honor pretty much irrelevant.
Maxie: Oh, no, the maid of honor is essential. It's the one person the bride can count on. Her closest friend or relative or the person who knows her the best.
Olivia: You got that part right. I definitely know the bride better than anyone.
Wedding planner: There is no Andrei Karpov on the guest list. Is he important?
Kate: No, he's just a man prone to large gestures, and we don't have to worry about offending his feelings. Why don't you just take those to General Hospital? Someone will enjoy them there.
Wedding planner: Okay. Let's go.
Mike: Hey. Is this -- is this what you're wearing?
Kate: No. No, this is the before-the-wedding dress.
Mike: Oh, I see, sort of like last night's rehearsal outfit. Not to be confused with last night's rehearsal dinner outfit.
Kate: Mike, do you have any idea what a burden it is to be a fashion icon? Speaking of, look at you. Looking mighty dapper in your tux.
Mike: Well, all the way from Paris, and I can't thank you enough.
Kate: Oh, it was my pleasure.
Mike: You know, the tux is really the least of it. Thank you for loving my son. And for letting me be a little part of this.
Kate: Oh, Mike, of course you're a part of it. You're Sonny's Father.
Mike: Yeah, but you worked so hard to build a bridge between us, and believe me, others have tried, but you actually succeeded. I will be eternally grateful.
Kate: You love each other too much to be estranged.
Mike: Yeah, but you have given him a new life. You have given him a reason to start over. And I wish you nothing but happiness. Now, ahem, can I hug the bride? Or is that going to wrinkle the before-the-wedding dress?
Kate: Oh, I don't care.
Jason: Just wanted you to know that Carly asked me to take her to your wedding.
Sonny: Okay, I don't want Carly to make any trouble at the wedding.
Jason: That's why I'm going so I can stop her if she tries to do something crazy.
Sonny: You know her. Carly -- if she gets something in her mind -- I appreciate you trying, but it's just -- Kate wants Carly and Jax there, and I'm not going to try to, you know, talk her out of that.
Jason: Did you know Kate -- she came by my office, and she -- she invited me? I mean, it's really up to you. I mean, I can stay away.
Sonny: I was planning to ask you. I came to your office. Remember when I came to your office? You were with Diane, and so I couldn't really ask you.
Jason: Yeah. I guess Max and Diane had some kind of big fight.
Sonny: Yeah, he got drunk.
Sonny: Yeah. He told me all about it. [Sonny laughs] I don't know. Anyway, you know what? Ahem. I'm glad you'll be at the wedding.
Jason: I'm happy for you.
Sonny: Remember when you took over the business, and you said to me that I couldn't have a nice life?
Jason: I hope you can prove me wrong.
Lulu: Aren't there other patients you could be seeing?
Lainey: Lots of them. But this time is reserved for you. So let's talk about your mother.
Lulu: What about her?
Lainey: Why did you think you needed your mother so badly that you convinced yourself Laura had recovered?
Lulu: Well, I was going crazy, and she went crazy. I thought she could tell me how to handle it.
Lainey: I'm not the enemy, Lulu. Don't you want to deal with the issues that caused your breakdown?
Lulu: Don't you get tired of asking so many questions? Look, it's not very complicated, Dr. Winters. Logan died. Johnny was blamed and arrested and almost got the death penalty, but he didnít. It's over. And now that he's been proven innocent, I don't need to have conversations with my mom. All I need is Johnny.
Lainey: Is it fair to pin all of your hopes for recovery on one man?
Nikolas: Hey, do you mind paging Nadine?
Leyla: She didn't come in to work today.
Nikolas: Did she call in?
Leyla: No, which is very strange.
Leyla: It's not like Nadine to blow off work like this.
Nikolas: Did you call her?
Nadine: No, I just assumed she was having dinner at Wyndemere with you. I was kind of hoping that things had progressed between the two of you.
Nikolas: No, she didn't, and we havenít.
Nikolas: But you heard her the other night, rambling on about some clue that she wanted to follow. I assumed that it was harmless, like when she broke into Matt Hunter's place, but I'm afraid that she may be in some real trouble this time.
Nadine: You can't do this. Let go of me. You're going to be in so much trouble.
Sasha: And you are becoming a real problem.
Nadine: Look, you know what? Fine. Have the police arrest me for trespassing.
Sasha: That's one solution. Here's another one. We'll stage an accident and eliminate you permanently.
Nadine: That would be a huge mistake. There are people looking for me.
Alexis: Okay, I hope this is good.
Diane: It is a full-fledged disaster.
Alexis: All right. I don't want to be unkind, but it is possible that you're trying to distract me from getting ready because I know you're a little upset that I'm wearing the dress, but remember, you're the one who backed out.
Diane: I would never -- all right, I might do that, but in this case, I have not done that.
Alexis: What's --
Diane: Duplicate dresses pales in comparison to this crisis.
Alexis: What is going on?
Diane: Sonny's other women.
Alexis: Is this where I get offended?
Diane: No, you don't count. I mean, of course you count, but not in this sense.
Alexis: This doesn't make any sense. What are you babbling about?
Diane: Claudia Zacchara and Carly are both planning on attending the wedding.
Alexis: That's like a hurricane and a tornado, hitting at the same time.
Diane: Skip the nature metaphors and focus on solutions.
Alexis: She would never invite those two harpies to her wedding. There must be some sort of mistake.
Diane: They just picked up their dresses.
Alexis: That is terrible. What are they wearing?
Diane: Garment bags. I didn't have a chance to see. I didn't see a damn thing. Regardless, for Kate's sake, we've got to stop them.
Alexis: What do you suggest we do? Not only are these two blatant manipulators, they both have a propensity for violence. And I for one don't feel like getting beat up in the back of an alley or having my hair ripped out of my head.
Diane: Well, we've got to do something, don't we?
Alexis: We'll stick close to her. We'll watch out for her just if hell breaks loose.
Diane: Maybe you didn't hear what I said. Carly and Claudia are both planning on attending. Hell on earth is assured.
Maxie: Good. I need you to get on the computer.
Spinelli: Is it not time to make preparations for tonight's festivities?
Maxie: I just met a woman who said she's Kate's cousin. And seeing how she was in the middle of Kate's living room, wearing a one-of-a-kind designer original that's supposed to be Kate's maid of honor dress, I'm pretty sure she's not lying.
Spinelli: I'm sorry. I don't see the problem.
Maxie: This woman is from Bensonhurst, okay? Kate's supposed to be the queen of all Connecticut wasps. How could they possibly be related?
Spinelli: Perhaps it's some hitherto unrevealed connection? I don't --
Maxie: Stop speculating. Get on that computer and dig up whatever you can on Olivia Falconeri. And while you're at it, pull up Kate Howardís family tree.
Lainey: I question the wisdom of hanging your recovery on John Zacchara. His world is steeped in violence and dysfunction.
Lulu: I -- how can I take these sessions seriously when they are a replay of what everybody has been telling me? Lucky and the Quartermaines think that I can't trust my own judgment. I don't believe them, so why would I believe you?
Lainey: Because I'm your doctor. I have no investment in your romantic life. I just want to see you get better. And can you honestly tell me that you feel safe in John Zacchara's world?
Lulu: Johnny is not some irresponsible guy dragging me into danger. He proved that when he risked everything to get me help.
Lainey: That's right, Lulu. He risked prison to bring you here.
Lainey: And even he knows that you can't be fixed magically overnight. As much as you love John, he's not some prince who can just cure you with a kiss. You still have a long way to go.
Lulu: That's what I'm afraid of.
Lainey: Well, let's tackle that at our next session, okay?
Nikolas: Did Nadine say anything to you about who she suspected or what kind of investigation she was planning?
Nikolas: Excuse me.
Sasha: All right. We can't do anything this close to shore, and I don't want to hold up the shipment, so --
Sasha's voice: I'm just going to call Andrei and see if he has a preference on how he wants to handle this.
Sasha's voice: I'm assuming he just wants it over.
Nikolas: Who is this?
Nadine's voice: Well, if you're thinking of throwing me overboard, you should know that --
Nadine: I'm a very good swimmer.
Sasha: Damn it.
Leyla: Is she okay?
Nikolas: I don't know. It sounded like she was in the harbor. Did she say anything to you about a ship or --
Leyla: Oh, gosh, yeah. She said when she was staying at Wyndemere, she could clearly see the harbor from the room she was staying in. Something about a ship that looked suspicious.
Nikolas: Did she mention a name?
Leyla: I want to say Odyssey.
Lulu: Nice outfit.
Johnny: I'm still not sure I should be doing this.
Lulu: Oh, everybody says that you're bad for me, but this is the best medicine in the world.
Johnny: Just tell me the truth, okay? How are you feeling?
Lulu: At this moment, like anything is possible.
Johnny: Yeah. Good enough to get out of here?
Lulu: Yes. In a heartbeat. I don't want to be here anymore. I'll go wherever you want me to go.
Johnny: I'm not talking about running away again.
Lulu: What? So what, this is like a visit?
Johnny: No, it's more like a holiday. I intercepted this. I thought it might cheer you up.
Lulu: You want to break me out of Shadybrook to go to Sonny and Kate's wedding?
Johnny: Didn't I promise you I would take you? I don't break my promises. That is if you still want to go?
Lulu: I want to go.
Maxie: Constanza Louise Falconeri from Bensonhurst?
Spinelli: It appears irrefutable. Constanza Louise had her name legally changed to Katherine Hardwicke Howard at the age of 18.
Maxie: Kate's not some classy ice queen from Connecticut, she's just some Italian girl from Bensonhurst. She's a fraud, and I believed her. I bought her whole high and mighty act completely.
Spinelli: Okay, wait. Constanza Louise, now legally know as Katherine Hardwicke Howard, graduated from Princeton with honors and accepted an entry level position at "Couture" magazine. It appears her success is authentic, even if her name is not.
Maxie: She's just a big phony.
Spinelli: Okay, if the fraudulent fashionista wanted to keep her former identity a secret, then why would she invite her cousin to the nuptials?
Maxie: Kate didnít. Sonny did. Oh, this is not going to be good.
Spinelli: Okay, Maximista appears to be overreacting somewhat. The fact that she was born with a different name doesn't -- doesn't change who she is. I mean, after all, the Jackal wasn't always the Jackal. And, you know, some people might find it admirable that Constanza Louise was able to remake herself into the Kate Howard she wanted to be.
Maxie: Yeah, of course Kate has a great sense of style, but she has no right to be an elitist snob. And once people get a good look at Olivia, she'll be outed as a fake and a social climber. That's going to be awful.
Spinelli: It's very generous for Maximista to be so concerned about the fashionista's future.
Maxie: I mean awful for me. This cousin from Bensonhurst is going to make Kate look like a joke. She's going to crash and burn and take my fashion career with her.
Carly: Hey. Why do you look like you're going to a black tie root canal?
Jason: Are you sure you want to do this?
Carly: Well, it's worse if I stayed away and, you know, hid.
Jason: Okay, you're going to watch Sonny marry someone that you hate with Jax sitting in the next pew. How are you not going to have a meltdown?
Carly: I miss Jax more than you can imagine. I know it's my fault that our marriage crashed and burned, but it's worse if I crawl in a hole and die.
Jason: Okay. And what about Sonny?
Carly: Well, Sonny is in for a wake up call. He's going to see Kate for who she really is. Come on. Let's go.
Diane: Good. Jason, as your attorney, I have to advise you that -- fantastic dress.
Carly: Thanks. You, too. I love that.
Diane: And I love your hair.
Carly: Oh, look at the back.
Diane: Oh. You cannot do this. This is worse than wrong. This is cruel.
Jason: What is?
Diane: Escorting Sonny's ex-wife, especially this ex-wife, to his wedding.
Carly: We're not crashing. I was invited.
Diane: Proof positive that the wedding planner was either incompetent or delusional.
Jason: Okay, Diane, Sonny --
Diane: Jason, let us be realistic. Sonny and Carly are like gasoline and dynamite. You put the two of them in close proximity, there is bound to be an explosion.
Carly: It's not my fault I'm more exciting than the bride.
Diane: And I rest my case.
Jason: Carly is not going to do anything. Are you, Carly?
Carly: I can promise you I will not be the one to ruin Sonny and Kate's wedding.
Robin: Wow, you look so handsome.
Sonny: Yeah, well, no one's going to notice, you know. All everybody cares about is the bride.
Robin: Oh, please. I always check out the groom. How are you feeling?
Sonny: Feeling like I want this day to be, you know, over. Get my life going with Kate. That's what I want.
Robin: You know, I have to say I never imaged you with someone like Kate Howard, you know, she's very, uh --
Robin: Yes, but I was going to say more independent, you know, like she's not the type of woman that's going to center her life around you. Are you okay with that?
Sonny: Yeah, I'm okay with that.
Sonny: I love her. I respect her. Are you going to get ready?
Robin: I'm so sorry.
Robin: That's why I'm here. I have to go to an emergency consult, and I won't be able to come to the wedding. And I'm so sorry.
Sonny: Are you serious?
Robin: I'm so sorry. I had just enough time to come and wish you love and luck and all that stuff.
Sonny: Oh. I'm very proud of you. So when are you going to, you know --
Sonny: I mean, are you going to keep working?
Robin: Oh, I'll keep working until she tells me to stop.
Robin: Yes, we're having a girl.
Sonny: What? What? Fantastic. A girl.
Robin: Yeah. You know, I think all Stone wanted for the both of us was to live a life of love and purpose. He wouldn't be disappointed. I think we both finally found what makes us happy.
Olivia: Are you ready to rock and roll?
Kate: Yes, I am. Wow! The dress looks great on you. Maybe I psychically knew you would be my maid of honor after all.
Olivia: Well, 25 years later, we go back to what we originally planned, right?
Kate: I'm glad you're here.
Olivia: Me, too. I missed you, Con.
Kate: You have to know I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I had my own dream, and I followed it the only way I knew. I made a clean break.
Olivia: Well, did you get everything you wanted?
Kate: Finally. Yes.
Olivia: Then I am happy for you. And I know Mom and Dad and Nonna are smiling down on you, too.
Kate: I can't believe you brought it.
Olivia: It's a family tradition. You're still a Falconeri girl after all.
Kate: It doesn't go with my dress.
Mike: Hey. You're looking good.
Mike: Any nerves?
Sonny: Uh, I was at home. I was looking at pictures of my kids, and I saw a picture of Michael. And for a second, I thought, you know, is it wrong? To be this happy after what happened to my son? But I know Michael would want this for me. We should all be happy for our parents. I want that for you, Mike.
Mike: You know, a lot of water is floating under a lot of bridges for you and I to get to this point.
Sonny: I guess, sometimes you have to be a dad to recognize how imperfect fathers can be. I'm really glad you're standing up for me.
Mike: And I'm really glad you asked.
Sonny: Ooh, boy.
Olivia: All the Falconeri brides wear Nonna's necklace.
Kate: Yes, it's a lovely tradition. And if I had the slightest inkling that you or the necklace would have been here, I could have designed my entire gown around it. Maha Chang designed this dress, especially for me. And the necklace definitely clashes with it.
Olivia: So, let it clash. Connie, it's a family heirloom.
Kate: It's very naive of you.
Olivia: Connie, it's a freaking dress.
Kate: Yeah, well, see, the fact that you say that just proves that you would never understand any of the choices that I've made.
Olivia: I understand that you're spitting on our grandmother's grave.
Kate: Oh, that's lovely. That's lovely. Just go ahead and attack me, that's another Falconeri tradition.
Olivia: You know what; I don't know why I expected this to be any different. Because this is classic, classic Connie. You're going to pick a stupid dress over your own family.
Kate: That stupid dress symbolizes everything that I've accomplished. It's not like a woman like you would understand that.
Olivia: Like me? Like me. You have no idea who I am.
Kate: Yeah, exactly. Exactly. And you have no idea who I am. I don't buy my dresses at the mall, Olivia. I call my friends and have them specifically design a dress especially for me. That is my life now. That is the life that I made for myself, and I am not going to apologize for it.
Olivia: How can you stand to be so selfish?
Kate: It's my wedding day. I am the bride. I get to be selfish, and I can wear whatever dress I want.
Olivia: You know what? You're right. And I'm sure it's going to be fabulous. And beautiful and cold and shallow without a soul. Just like you.
Maxie: Spinelli, we're going to be late. I was having a bad hair day.
Spinelli: The Jackal finds that concept -- your hair looks pretty.
Maxie: It's all product, and some feathers. Anyway, I was thinking, maybe Kate came to her senses and sent Olivia back to Bensonhurst where she belongs. Or she didnít. God, I really don't want Kate to be exposed and humiliated at her own wedding. I need you.
Spinelli: You do?
Maxie: Yeah. I need you to help me fix this Olivia problem.
Spinelli: Oh, yeah. I'm sorry, I apologize, I was just dazzled by the sheer beauty that stands before me.
Maxie: Oh. Do you like it? Federico made it for me. Isn't he a genius? I can't wait for you to meet him.
Spinelli: Oh, is this Federico going to be in attendance this evening?
Maxie: Of course not, silly. If he were in town, he'd be my date. But as soon as he realized he couldn't make it, he sent me this. The fashion gods have blessed me once again. Kind of makes me happy I'm not a maid of honor. I mean, the dress is really pretty but it's not really my cup -- Spinelli, you can't let me get distracted. We have to take care of Olivia before she outs Kate Howard as Connie from the block.
Spinelli: Maybe the glacial one is just intending to pass this Olivia off as a poor relative.
Maxie: I met Olivia. Trust me. She's not about to be passed off as anything.
Spinelli: Well, then, maybe the future Mrs. Sir is ready to embrace her authentic self.
Maxie: That's fine for Kate, because she's in love with Sonny. But what about me? Oh, I know, why don't you have Jason get two of his thugs throw Olivia in the back of a limo, and drive her off to Bensonhurst before it's too late?
Spinelli: I don't think Stone Cold would lend his protectors of the night to a plot to kidnap Mr. Sir's wife's cousin.
Maxie: Okay, well we're going to be on damage control the entire night. We have to stick with Olivia and make sure that she doesn't tell anyone that Kate Howard is really cousin Connie from Brooklyn.
Nadine: You have to let me go. Anything else is going to put you right in the middle of a police investigation.
Sasha: You're bluffing. And not very well. The sad fact is, no one's missed you. And absolutely no one will connect your unfortunate accident with me.
Nadine: You couldn't be more wrong. There are tons of people who know that I have been investigating you and your counterfeit drug operation.
Sasha: Oh, yeah? Name one.
Nadine: Well, if I told you, you'd have to kill me.
Sasha: I'm going to kill you anyway. Any cooperation from you will simply make your death less painful.
Nikolas: Not as much fun when the threat's on you, is it?
Nikolas: Order your men to let her go.
Sasha: Look, I don't know who you are, but you are making a big mistake --
Nikolas: I didn't ask for your opinion.
[Sasha speaks Russian]
[Man speaks Russian]
[Nikolas speaks Russian]
Nadine: How did you find me?
Nikolas: You said the ship was the Odyssey. It's the Odessa.
Sasha: How do you expect to get away?
Nikolas: That's not your problem. You're going to let us go because the harbor patrol will be here any minute. Jump. I'm right behind you. Go, go.
Maxie: Hi, Sonny, so I heard you invited Kate's cousin.
Sonny: Yeah, I did.
Maxie: Is Kate okay?
Sonny: Yeah, last time I checked she was fine.
Maxie: Okay. I just have a really bad feeling.
Sonny: Do me a favor. For me and Kate, keep that to yourself.
Spinelli: Congratulations, Mr. Sir. The Jackal is honored to be invited to attend the nuptials of such a prestigious mobster.
Sonny: Right. Spinelli, listen, come here. I know that I've been kind of rough on you in the past. A little bit, right? And I just want to say that you're not that bad of a guy, and I'm kind of glad that you came.
Spinelli: You know, beneath the dark and dangerous exterior, it is clear that you would never -- well, you know, kill anyone that didn't need -- deserved to be killed --
Sonny: Great, you can go ahead and go.
Spinelli: And many people do, but I donít.
Ric: It's a nice night for a wedding.
Sonny: Yeah, we planned it that way.
Sonny: Interesting choice of companion you got there. Hi, Claudia.
Claudia: Hi. Congratulations on your wedding. I hope you won't die of boredom.
Sonny: Oh, you know it's better than getting stabbed in the back. Kate is going to be happy that you came because she has this sweet notion that you and I can reconnect as family.
Ric: Well, Kate deserves happiness. Hope you can give it to her. Shall we?
Sonny: Hi. Thanks for coming, man.
Bernie: My deepest respect and good wishes for your happiness on your wedding day, Mr. Corinthos.
Lulu: Are you sure this dress is not upside down?
Johnny: You look fine. Actually, you look beautiful.
Lulu: Thank you. Thank you for buying it for me.
Johnny: Yeah, well, you look good for someone who got ready in the car.
Lulu: Oh. So do you.
Claudia: This is not -- this is not good. What is --
Ric: Oh. Did you honestly think that they were going to stay away from each other? Come on.
Sonny: Wh -- I wasn't expecting you.
Lulu: Yeah, I wasn't sure if Shadybrook was going to let me out.
Sonny: It's amazing. They gave you a day pass, right?
Lulu: Yeah, I never said how much I loved when you came to visit me that day.
Sonny: I just -- you know what? I just wanted to make sure that you were okay.
Lulu: I am. I am.
Sonny: You are?
Lulu: And now I have somebody that I can count on, so --
Sonny: I know the feeling. You guys have a good time.
Sonny: Oh, boy.
Diane: Just a moment of your time.
Diane: You do realize that at least one of your old flames is going to show up at this wedding.
Sonny: Yeah, you don't have to worry, Diane. Because, see, Kate knows all about that, and she loves me in spite of all that, so --
Diane: All right, well if someone combusts, don't say I didn't warn you.
Sonny: It's fine. Hey, how are you doing?
Alexis: I'm really, really happy for you. And I wish you and Kate all the best.
Alexis: And on that note, I'm going to warn you about two of your wedding guests, okay? And if one or both of them should cause any trouble or become dramatic in any way, you are to ignore them and focus on the bride.
Sonny: You know what the great thing about right now is? There's not going to be any dramatics.
Diane: Oh, okay, well, I wouldn't be too sure about that. Incoming, 9:00. Ahem.
Carly: Jason told you he was bringing me.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, he told me.
Carly: You had the grace enough to come to my wedding, and wish me well, so I want to do the same.
Sonny: I meant what I said.
Carly: So do I. Kate may be a shallow, you know, ice queen, but she makes you happy, and that's all that matters.
Sonny: You're never going to change.
Sonny: That's all right.
Carly: You look handsome.
Kate: If you can't wish me well, then I don't want you here.
Olivia: You know what; I'm the only flippin' bridesmaid you've got. Because all the other ones bailed. What a shock.
Kate: Well, I don't need an attendant.
Olivia: Hey, I get it. You don't need me, okay? Because you pay someone to bring you your shoes, and you pay someone to zip up your dress. And you surround yourself with all these friends-for-hire and they have to put up with all your obnoxious crap, or else you'll just fire them. But you can't fire me. Because I'm your family. And I know you a hell of a lot better than all of those other people, Connie.
Kate: I was Connie for 18 years, that is less than half of my life. So what is all this, huh? What are you, jealous?
Olivia: You got nothing I want.
Kate: Oh, really? Huh? For all your home girl pretensions, you are so pissed that I got out. That I am famous, that I am successful. And after all of these years, I got Sonny.
Olivia's voice: Famous for what? For being a bitch?
Kate's voice: Oh, see, see? You are always a tramp. Always were.
Olivia's voice: Look at you, you're supposed to be a blushing bride, and you're standing there with a pole up your butt.
Kate's voice: Oh, that's charming. That is so charming, do you have any idea how embarrassing you are?
Olivia's voice: To who? To you? Do you think I care?
Kate's voice: You are so jealous because you never had the guts to get out of the tiny little narrow neighborhood you were born in.
Olivia's voice: I didn't have to run away to like myself. And you know what the pathetic thing is? All the running and all the lies and you still don't like yourself.
Kate's voice: Why don't you just admit it? Admit it; you want to ruin my wedding.
Olivia: You couldn't find someone to pretend to be your friend. Sonny had to go all the way to Bensonhurst to find one person who would stand up for you.
Kate: That is not true. Giselle threw her back out, and Clarice ate some bad shellfish.
Olivia: Okay, you keep believing that.
Kate: Hey, I want you to leave, now.
Olivia: Yeah? Well, I promised Sonny I'd do this. And I don't welch out on my promises.
Kate: You're not even here for the wedding. You're here because it's your last chance with Sonny.
Olivia: Oh, you know what? I stopped caring what Sonny thought the day he went after you.
Olivia: Because that's when I knew he was about as shallow as a mud puddle, and about as loyal as an alley cat.
Kate: Well, if that were true, then he would have gone after a slut like you.
Olivia: Oh, nice mouth in a church. They teach you that up in Princeton?
Kate: You know, could you just muster enough class to leave the building?
Olivia: What a nice world you live in. It's just shiny, happy people, bowing at your feet. Basking in the glory that is Kate Howard. I feel sorry for Sonny. He's not going to know what hit him.
Kate: Hey, guess what? Sonny loves me, okay? We're getting married. We love each other. And you don't get to ruin it, Olivia. You don't get to diminish my feelings. I care deeply.
Olivia: Then show me. Show me that there's more going on here than your massive ego. Show me that family means something to you. Wear the necklace.
Kate: Nonna was so awful to me, Olivia, when I left home. I want you to tell me, hmm? Why should I honor her traditions? Why? Why should I try to please her, after all of these years?
Olivia: To prove that you are something more than a superficial poser, honey. For once, just for once, stand up and take some pride in who you really are.
Kate: I am Katherine Hardwicke Howard. And the necklace doesn't go with my dress.
Olivia: Then I'll wear it myself. Coward.
