[Italian wedding music playing]
Spinelli: Stone Cold.
Spinelli: Did the most recent shipment arrive unmolested?
Spinelli: Good, good. If you were wondering what I was doing there --
Jason: No, I really wasn't wondering what --
Spinelli: If the Jackal is to escort the fair Maximista to Mr. Sir's wedding then, you know, I got -- I got to brush up on the old Terpsichore, you know.
Jason: Okay, listen. I need -- I need you to do some research for me.
Spinelli: Yes. Yes, the Jackal is at your service. What are we researching? Comrade Karpov, Anthony Zacchara?
Jason: Actually, it's -- it's personal.
Olivia: Perfect. Holy crap. Holy -- sorry, Sister.
Sister: It's quite all right.
Olivia: It's just I'm a little keyed up. I'm on the way to see an old boyfriend marry my cousin.
Kate's voice: I had the worst fight with Olivia today. She acts like I stole something from her.
Sonny: How's the seating chart?
Kate: Um -- it's not good.
Kate: There's so many people who hate each other, and then others who don't know each other at all. God forbid someone drinks too much and they become belligerent.
Sonny: You all right?
Kate: Yeah, fine. I'm fine, right? On Friday I'm going to be standing at the altar with the man of my dreams.
Sonny: Is there another bad omen, Kate?
Kate: Why do I keep seeing them? Is it me? Am I afraid to get married or am I just terrified something's going to prevent it?
Carly: You have to let me know if you're going to have that dress ready in time, because I'll go down to Manhattan and get another one. All right. I have to have a fabulous dress for the wedding. Thanks.
Jax: You can't seriously be considering going to Sonny and Kate's wedding.
Spinelli: Behold. Preliminary results of the Jackal's cyber handiwork.
Jason: Yeah, looks good.
Spinelli: You know, the Jackal's heart rejoices at Stone Cold's request. Clearly, signing the master up for online dating proved most beneficial.
Jason: Okay, online dating had nothing to do with this.
Spinelli: Au contraire. Just the -- the thought of sorting through comely strangers to find a potential partner made Stone Cold realize his ongoing attachment to the maternal one.
Spinelli: It is fate, Stone Cold. It is fate, a love that cannot be denied, much like that of Anthony and Cleopatra, Odysseus and Penelope, Dante and Beatrice, Lady and the tramp.
Jason: Okay, I appreciate your enthusiasm here, but I get --
Spinelli: Just to think -- just to think that the Jackal played a key role in your romantic destiny. Stone Cold's wise choice will open a door to -- to a wide spectrum of emotional adventure. Just imagine the moonlight on the maternal one's face, the joy in her eyes.
Jason: Okay, I need some more research, please.
Spinelli: Right. Results wait anon for this monumental matter, the results of which will bode well for happy endings everywhere.
Kate: I'm just being silly. I'm just thinking a lot about family and -- you realize I'm not getting married with Nonna's necklace? I mean, I haven't thought about that in forever. I don't know why I'm thinking about it now.
Sonny: Well, because you're marrying the boy you loved in high school, and weddings were a big deal in the old neighborhood.
Kate: Do you remember Carlo and Angela’s --
Sonny: Wedding parties, dancing in the street.
Kate: Yeah. I don't think anyone's going to be doing that at ours.
Sonny: I'll do it, if you want to do it.
Kate: No, it's just, you know, a celebration from another life.
Sonny: Connie Falconeri's life.
Kate: That necklace was from Sicily. Nonna's great grandfather gave it to her great grandmother the night before their wedding. Nonna was the fourth generation to wear that necklace. She brought it over to America, and all the Falconeri brides have worn it.
Sonny: We will track down the damn necklace, Kate.
Kate: No. I'm just being nostalgic, that's all.
Sonny: Tradition's important.
Kate: I'm not a Falconeri girl anymore.
Sister: Am I making you nervous, dear?
Olivia: No, no. Well, yeah. Yeah, just a second. I went to a Catholic high school. Sitting next to a nun, it just kind of pushes a lot of adolescent buttons, you know?
Sister: I taught at a Catholic high school.
Olivia: Oh, yeah?
Sister: I assume you broke a few of the rules?
Olivia: Where do I begin? I rolled my skirt up about a foot too high. I wore makeup. I ditched class. I hung out by the front gates talking to boys. I didn't smoke, though. I was a swimmer, couldn't be short of breath. Plus, I hated the taste, so...
Sister: Girls like you were always a challenge. You had such potential, but it was a constant struggle to try to keep you focused.
Olivia: Well, I guess, you know, I could have paid a little more attention. Maybe learned a couple more things. But, hey, you know what? No regrets. I'm happy the way my life turned out, right?
Sister: No wrong turns along the way?
Olivia: Well, there is one pretty close call. You know that old boyfriend I was telling you about? He was trouble. Man, if I were to have stayed with him my life would have been a nightmare. But I didn’t. Thank God. Right, Sister?
Lulu: Can you come see me today?
Johnny: I don't want to interfere with the work you're doing with Dr. Winters.
Lulu: Please, I really need to see you. Something happened.
Lulu: I can't really explain it over the phone. I just -- I know that you're going to understand. At first I thought it meant that I was crazy, that it was something really bad, but it's actually not like that at all.
Johnny: Well, have you talked about it with Dr. Winters?
Lulu: It's different when I'm with you. Please, please. Can you come?
Lulu: Thank you. I love you.
Johnny: I love you, too.
Claudia: Let me guess. Lulu?
Johnny: Don't start.
Claudia: Okay, I'll make you a deal. I won't start if you won't see her.
Johnny: She needs me.
Claudia: Okay, John. She always needs you. She's always going to need you. Hey, you know what? I put my life on the line for you. I got up on that stand and I lied. The very least you can do is hear me out.
[Knocking on door]
Lulu: Hi. What a nice surprise to see you.
Nikolas: How are you feeling?
Lulu: If you're asking if I'm having imaginary conversations with our mother, the answer is no.
Nikolas: They're cookies from Bobbie.
Lulu: Sugar cookies.
Nikolas: Yeah, she said that Mom used to make them for you when you were little.
Lulu: Yeah, yeah. She used to ask me to be her assistant chef. It was her way of keeping me busy when Dad was gone and I was sad.
Nikolas: Well, she was helping you then, and she's still helping you. Isn't she?
Lulu: I really thought she recovered. I just -- I can't believe that was all in my head.
Nikolas: The mind can do some strange things to you when you miss someone you love.
Lulu: Well, it was Mom -- or the illusion of Mom that made me face what really happened to Logan, and she told me not to be guilty or feel victimized and --
Nikolas: Have you -- have you seen Logan since the last time we spoke?
Lulu: No, no. Not once. I'm really -- I am in a better place, and I just need to focus on getting better and living the life that mom would want me to live.
Nikolas: And you'll get it, Lulu. You're stronger than you think, you know?
Lulu: That's exactly what Johnny says to me. He's coming to visit me today.
Nikolas: Oh, he is?
Nikolas: His idea or --
Lulu: Mine. I mean, he -- he didn't want to, you know, mess up my therapy or anything, but I need to see him.
Nikolas: I think that's a really bad idea.
Sonny: I don't know if you know this, but I was always jealous of your family because you guys were always so close. It must have been real hard to leave, huh?
Kate: Um, mm-hmm.
Kate: I didn't go home much after I started at Princeton. Every summer I'd get an internship in Manhattan, and then after I graduated, I landed my entry level position at "Couture."
Sonny: That's when you met Trevor.
Kate: Yeah. He started introducing me to people, and he takes way too much credit. I am the one who did all the work. I was so determined to make it in the fashion industry. Nothing was going to stop me.
Sonny: How often did you go home?
Kate: I don't know -- twice a year? The last time I went home it was for Nonna's 80th birthday. We were going to plan a big party for her, and I wanted to take everyone to the city. I wanted to take them to dinner and Manhattan and I could finally afford it, but I had a big fight with Olivia and I swore I'd never go back. It was the last time I saw my parents alive.
Kate: You know, out of everyone, it was my mom. She's the only who would ever tell me she was proud of me. I could call her on the phone, and I did sometimes, and nobody ever knew -- no one. Not even my father. She's the only one I could tell if I got a promotion or I got to go to a party or some boss was really being difficult, and she always gave me the same advice. She always said, "Do not let anyone take advantage of you. Be proud of yourself, because you're as good as anyone else. In fact, you're better than most." I'd buy her a present every time I went to Paris. I don't know, something special I thought she'd appreciate, and I never took the train to bring it to her. It would have been so easy. I'd always mail it. I -- I really miss her. I miss all of them.
Spinelli: Ah. Everything required for Stone Cold's excellent adventure will be delivered within the hour.
Jason: All right. Thanks.
Spinelli: It is indeed my pleasure. Might I ask, though -- if online dating was not the catalyst, what did prompt Stone Cold's sudden and romantic change of heart?
Jason: Well, I've always wanted to be with Elizabeth. Did you know I asked her to marry me right before Michael got shot?
Spinelli: No, I wasn't aware of that.
Jason: And I thought I had to end things permanently with her.
Spinelli: But brave Elizabeth disagrees?
Jason: I mean, she thinks whatever time we can have in secret is enough.
Spinelli: This is a bold and important step that you will never regret.
[Knocking on door]
Diane: You owe me a raise. I am privy to certain information regarding a strategic piece of waterfront property, but we have to act very fast.
Spinelli: No, cease and desist. Stone Cold is otherwise engaged.
Lucky: So, we're just going to go away for a few days at Bear Lake. Me, the boys, Sam.
Elizabeth: Well, what about her undercover work to bust the drug ring?
Lucky: Cam and Jake are going to be fine. We're going to go to a place where no one will see Sam with us. It will give her a chance to get to know the boys, you know? That's if it's okay.
Elizabeth: Well, obviously things are getting more serious between the two of you, so -- I mean, I guess it's a good idea that the boys become more comfortable with her, and they're going to be with you. So, okay, just go.
Lucky: All right. Thanks.
Elizabeth: Yeah. Do you remember when we camped out under the docks together?
Lucky: Yeah, all those nights in the boxcar. You were pretty good roughing it.
Elizabeth: Well, you were a good teacher, and now Cameron and Jake get to learn from you. I'm really glad you're part of their lives.
Lucky: Me, too.
Elizabeth: You're going to have a fun trip.
Lulu: I thought you were on my side.
Nikolas: I am, which is why I don't want you dependent on John.
Lulu: In other words, get better for myself. I heard you the first ten million times you told me, and you should feel better because Lainey reinforces it every single time we have a therapy session.
Nikolas: All right, well, then at the risk of watching you roll your eyes at me --
Lulu: You just go ahead. I'm bracing myself.
Nikolas: Yes, yes. I want you to find your own strength, so you can take care of you no matter what happens.
Lulu: It's not like I think Johnny is going to magically cure me. I was with him in New York City when I started to crack up. I know I need to get better for myself. Look, I just don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to get out of here to be with him.
Nikolas: I -- I don't either. I'm just saying -- I -- I have no doubt that John loves you or that he wants what's best for you, but Lulu, he's tied into this -- all right, maybe trapped in a dangerous, unstable family. And I'm saying I know what that feels like, because I've been trying to escape the Cassadines for years and haven't necessarily been successful at it. And his situation is very similar to mine, maybe even worse.
Lulu: What -- what are you trying to warn me about?
Nikolas: He may not want or intend to hurt you, but it can still happen simply because he is in that family.
Lulu: Okay, I get it. I do, and I really appreciate that you want to help me, but what you need to understand is being with Johnny makes me feel wonderful, okay? I love the way he talks to me, the way he laughs when he's holding me when we're together --
Nikolas: Okay -- okay -- that's enough.
Lulu: Too much information. Sorry.
Nikolas: Yeah. Yeah, when you start teasing your older brother like that, I know you're on the mend. I get it.
Lulu: I am. I promise.
Nikolas: Well, that's good to hear.
Lulu: Thank you. You're the best.
Nikolas: Yeah, well.
Nikolas: All right. Love you, I'll see you later.
Lulu: Thanks for the cookies.
Johnny: I know what I owe you, Claudia, and so does Lulu.
Claudia: Hey, I don't give a damn about Lulu, John. Look me in the eyes. Tell me that girl is stable.
Johnny: She's getting better, and she'll be out of Shadybrook in no time.
Claudia: Oh, good. Great. So, then what? Then what are you going to do with her? Johnny, come on. The girl's a mess. She's fragile. She is so fragile. She falls apart at the drop of a hat. She cries. She hallucinates, John, and I know that -- hey, I know that you -- you want to help her, but the truth of the matter is, it doesn't serve you and it doesn't serve Lulu for the two of you guys to be together.
Johnny: Claudia, I love her.
Claudia: I know, but it's only going to hurt her worse when you break it off with her eventually.
Johnny: You say that like it's inevitable.
Claudia: Johnny, do you really think that she's going to be able to handle our family's dark-hearted drama?
Johnny: I don't want to hear this.
Ric: Not very cheerful for a man who just won his freedom.
Claudia: Johnny's not free yet, but you and I are going to fix that.
Spinelli: The brusque lady of justice's business matter will have to wait.
Diane: It can’t.
Spinelli: Stone Cold has other pressing matters.
Diane: I am fast running out of patience with you, Mr. Grasshopper. The window of opportunity to acquire these properties is very small. If you manage to pull it off, you could have a lock on the entire waterfront.
Jason: Okay, set it up.
Spinelli: No. Stone Cold has other, much more pressing matters.
Diane: Okay, what are they and why don't I know about them?
Jason: It can wait.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, it has been delayed for far too long. The Jackal advises to strike while the iron is hot. Now is not the time to bridle one's enthusiasm.
Diane: Translate, please.
Spinelli: I speak of another brief window of opportunity that could be slammed shut by any number of factors, climatic interference, for example. It is the ideal time of year, the ideal from any possible vantage point. Stone Cold could get caught up in a myriad of excuses that may lead him to tragically cancel altogether. Now is the moment. Stone Cold must seize it while he has the chance.
Claudia: Lucky Spencer wants Johnny far away from Lulu.
Ric: And so do you.
Claudia: I'm all my brother has.
Ric: Not to state the obvious, Claudia, but John has managed to survive all of these years on his own.
Claudia: Because he retreated. Because he stayed under the radar. My father was going insane. John only had to worry about himself until Lulu came along, and now she is a liability. John and Lulu need to be over for both of their good, you know?
Ric: Mm-hmm, okay. Where do I come in?
Claudia: I want you to make sure that Lucky Spencer knows John is on his way to see Lulu right now.
Ric: That -- that's going to be a little difficult, because, see, Lucky and I are hardly on speaking terms.
Claudia: Well, he's -- he's going to be much more likely to listen to you than he is to me.
Ric: Not necessarily.
Claudia: I am the biggest ally you have in this family.
Claudia: Consider it a favor.
Ric: Yeah, let's just call it what it really is, Claudia.
Ric: Manipulation. You don't want your fingerprints on this, because it might get back to your good friend Nikolas.
Carly: Oh, Jax, I have to go see Lulu.
Jax: I know -- I know she won't mind if you're a few minutes late. We need to discuss Sonny and Kate's wedding.
Carly: You're not going to talk me out of it.
Jax: There's only two reasons why you might be doing to this. One, you want to make trouble for Sonny and Kate or you want to prove something to me, so just --
Carly: I'm going because I was invited, and I'm not going to hide.
Jax: Okay, first of all, you don't like Kate and you think that Sonny is wrong for marrying her. So, this is not something that you're celebrating.
Carly: Sonny has convinced himself that Kate makes him happy. So, you know what? I wish them all the best.
Jax: Do you?
Carly: I am sorry. I am so sorry that I ruined our marriage by sleeping with Sonny, but I -- I'm not going to hide my head in shame. I'm going to own what I did, and I am going to move on.
Jax: Okay, well, you can still accomplish that and not go.
Carly: I'm going to be there, and if that's the worst thing that happens at their wedding, then Sonny and Kate should just consider themselves lucky.
Olivia: We've been circling the airport for longer than it took us to fly here. I should've just taken the damn -- the darn train. Sorry.
Sister: You seem rather anxious.
Olivia: Well, my cousin Connie and I, we don't really get along, you know? We used to when we were kids, but I haven't see her or spoken to her in years.
Sister: But she asked you to her wedding, right?
Olivia: Well, actually -- you remember the old boyfriend I was telling you about?
Olivia: This was all his idea. He paid my whole way, everything. Pretty decent of him, right?
Sister: Clearly, you've stayed on good terms.
Olivia: Well, actually, I hadn't seen him in almost 25 years either. God, it's just -- it's crazy. He used to make my knees weak, and he's only gotten better looking. He's got these dimples. He's a pretty serious type of guy, but -- but when he smiles it's like -- that was a long time ago.
Sister: I see. May I ask why he invited you?
Olivia: As a surprise for my cousin. He wanted to do something nice, and I said, "What the hell." What the hay -- you know, why not? You don't get anything by being a coward, right? So, I figured I'd just show up and see what happens.
Kate: Okay, well, we are going to be late for rehearsal.
Sonny: There's no rush.
Kate: Yeah, well, it's easy for you to be relaxed, right? Because you've had lots of practice.
Sonny: Hey, you don't have to do that. You don't have to put on a front. It's okay to miss your family. You gave up a lot more than you bargained for, you know? Moving to Manhattan and building a career -- so, what?
Kate: You're all the family I need. Okay? So, no more maudlin sentiment. No more silly superstitions. Nothing is going to stop me from standing at that alter and walking into a new life with you.
Maxie: Kate. The worst thing ever just happened.
Spinelli: If you would care to email the pertinent details --
Diane: I don't -- I don't know what's going on here. I so rarely do when it comes to Mr. Grasshopper. But if you are planning to carpe any diem of a professional nature, you might want to consult with me first.
Spinelli: Uh, the services of the brusque wet blanket of justice are not needed at present.
Diane: If you pass up this opportunity to gain a vital hold on the waterfront, it will likely not come again.
Jason: If I have to appear someplace to make this happen --
Diane: Yes, you do.
Jason: I'm going to have to pass.
Diane: Jason, maybe I didn't make myself clear --
Jason: No, you made -- you made yourself clear. I have a previous commitment.
Diane: Right, okay. Who am I to argue? But just so you know, the entire mystifying and frustrating encounter has been billable.
Jason: Okay, Spinelli, you can stop. Just stop.
Spinelli: I can’t. I can't contain my joy. Stone Cold is finally choosing his happiness over the burdens of work and duty. It is a bright, shining day. Hah!
[Italian wedding music plays]
Ric: Nikolas might not approve of you interfering in John and Lulu's relationship. So you're sending me in to do your dirty work?
Claudia: Wow, hey. Now, why would I burn a bridge I might want to cross someday?
Ric: Would this be a personal bridge?
Claudia: Why do you care?
Ric: We made a deal. You know, I get John acquitted and you and I get to know each other a little bit better. I would just hate to see you waste so much of that energy on Nikolas.
Claudia: Let me put it this way. You do this for me, you'll be building a bridge of your own.
Ric: Really? In what way?
Claudia: What benefits me, will benefit you. But you should probably hurry because Johnny's halfway to Shadybrook by now.
[Knocking on door]
Lulu: Hi. I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting you.
Carly: Oh, well, don't be so excited that I'm here.
Lulu: No, no, no, no. I will tell you who I was expecting if you promise not to lecture me.
Carly: Oh, God, I'm the last person who should be lecturing anyone. I made so many mistakes, ten times over. So, hey, if this is about Johnny, I'm happy for you. Do I smell cookies?
Lulu: Yes, um, they're from your mom.
Carly: Oh, even better.
Lulu: I love Johnny, I really do. And I know -- I know it's probably hard to believe, with all the back and forth that I was kind of going through.
Carly: Love's scary.
Lulu: Does it get any better?
Carly: Gosh, it leaves you vulnerable, you know? It does. All of a sudden, you have something to lose. And then when you do lose, you're devastated. Now I'm going to go on about that lecture I wasn't going to give you, I'm going to give you. If you have that with Johnny, don't take it for granted. You need to hold on to it with both hands, and you don't let go.
Alexis: All right, so I'm taking -- I'm taking that you want an update on the divorce papers?
Jax: Oh, well, we can go over that later. In the meantime, I'm assuming you got an invitation to Sonny and Kate's wedding?
Alexis: Yes, I did. Well, Kate's a friend, and I -- I care about Sonny's best interests.
Jax: Yeah, well, it might get a little complicated for them because uh, Carly's attending.
Alexis: Why is it that I'm not surprised?
Jax: I just wanted to warn you just in case Kate needs a little extra emotional support.
Alexis: All right, well, I'm there for her, you know that.
Diane: This is completely unacceptable. You have made a grave error, so just be forewarned that I intend to win.
Alexis: I knew it. I knew it. You are representing Carly aren't you?
Diane: That is not why I am here.
Alexis: All right, listen, you save it for the judge, because in this particular case, Carly's at fault.
Diane: Well, first of all, I can and will prove emotional neglect and serial abandonment on Mr. Jack's part. No offense. But on a more pressing matter, this is about the wedding.
Kate: Oh, no, Giselle, I completely understand. If the doctors want you to stay in the hospital until Sunday, then that's exactly what you're going to do. Okay, feel better. Au revoir.
Sonny: Okay, so Maxie had it right, Kate.
Kate: Yes, Giselle fell at the Splendide in Cannes. She had had a bottle of champagne, and you know those marble steps. They're treacherous.
Sonny: Okay, so Giselle, what? She -- it's not an o -- a bad omen. She just tripped over something.
Mike: [Stammering] I don't know. I don't know, but my old man used to swear that it was ravens -- ravens who were bad luck in a churchyard.
Kate: What's that?
Minister: Oh, Kate, Sonny, welcome. Your father and I were just having a lively discussion about the superstitions surrounding crows and ravens. There appears to be one, or the other, in the bell tower of the church.
Mike: Definitely a raven.
Kate: Is that good or bad?
Sonny: Neither. Right, Mike?
Mike: Oh, sorry, no, no, no. Look, I know it's ridiculous. I'm -- I'm just a superstitious Irishman.
Kate: There's nothing to be sorry about, Mike. I think it's ravens. I think it's ravens that are a bad omen.
Sonny: Only if you're a worm.
Mike: You know, the more I think about it, it's probably a crow, uh, in the bell tower. Definitely, definitely --
Kate: Yeah, you know with the bad luck that we've been having, mike, I --
Sonny: Oh, okay, you know what? Crows, ravens, ducks, chickens don't -- can we just get on with this rehearsal?
Minister: Is there a problem?
Sonny: No, there's no --
Kate: Yes, there's a problem. My maid of honor had an unfortunate incident, and she won't be able to make it. But I've actually asked my protégé, Clarice, to step in, so...
Sonny: So we're all set.
Maxie: Kate, oh, um, you're not going to believe this, but now something bad has happened to Clarice.
Lucky: Okay, buddy, yeah, just start putting all your gear together. I -- I'm so excited. I'll see you in a couple of hours, all right? All right, I love you too. Bye.
Elizabeth: Bet you he can't wait, can he?
Lucky: Oh, he's so excited. I mean he is such a good brother. He's already put a list together of the things that we need to bring for Jake.
Elizabeth: Oh, you boys are going to have fun.
Lucky: Yeah, well, you too, and also don't use up all that free time on double shifts.
Elizabeth: Sixth floor, nurses' station.
Jason: Hey, it's me.
Elizabeth: Oh, I was just thinking of you.
Jason: Can you take a break and meet me?
Ric: Hey, Lucky, I'm glad I caught you.
Lucky: We have nothing to discuss --
Ric: Hey, listen, I know -- I know it's hard --
Lucky: From what I understand, you did everything you could to make Lulu fall apart.
Ric: Look, I had to discredit her testimony.
Lucky: What? So a scum like Johnny could walk?
Ric: I know that Lulu was hurt. I don't want to see that happen again, which is why I wanted to tell you that Johnny Zacchara is planning on seeing her today at Shadybrook.
Carly: I'm sorry.
Lulu: Are you okay?
Carly: Oh, mm... Jax and I broke up, and he's filing for divorce.
Lulu: Oh, my God. What happened?
Carly: I, uh -- back in May, I slept with Sonny. I don't want to get into the details but, um, and I made it worse by trying to cover it up.
Lulu: I mean, he won't forgive you?
Carly: Not this time. You know, I hurt him really bad. We’re over, for good. The only thing I can do is, um, learn from my mistakes and try to move on.
Lulu: Every time that I saw you guys together, you guys were so happy and --
Carly: We were. We were really happy. But I never put Jax first. Every time I needed something, I needed help, or I needed a friend to confide in, I ran to Sonny or Jason. I didn't even think at all how Jax would feel.
Lulu: Um, I just thought that you and Jax would last forever. Oh, my gosh.
Carly: I messed up. Bad. But I can't be paralyzed from it. I have to, you know, I have to suck it up, and I have to move on. So do you.
Lulu: Yeah, well, me -- I'm trying. I mean, this whole thing with Logan made me realize I have to be honest with myself and everybody else.
Carly: Wow. You're already smarter than I was.
Diane: You might want to leave. This is going to get ugly.
Alexis: What could get uglier than his divorce?
Diane: My dress for the wedding.
Alexis: Well, I'm sorry you don't like your dress. Why don't you pick out one you really like --
Diane: You ordered the exact same dress from the hotel boutique. And I have first dibs.
Alexis: You most assuredly do not.
Diane: I ordered mine first, and prior claim takes precedent in any case --
Jax: I'm sorry, is this -- this is about a dress?
Diane: Alexis, there are dozens of other beautiful dresses and evening ensembles in that hotel boutique. So choose one that isn't mine.
Alexis: I didn't like anything else in the ensemble. If you think they're so attractive, you pick one --
Diane: Don't be petulant.
Alexis: I'm not being petulant. You're being petulant. You're the one who stormed in --
Diane: I'm trying to be reasonable. All right, fine. Let's resort to some mediation. Alexis, you're my very, very dear friend, and I do not want this argument to escalate further. So, let us try and find some comparable middle ground.
Alexis: I suppose I could pick another one.
Diane: And so could I. After all, I am the bigger woman. Got to rephrase that.
Alexis: It really is a beautiful dress.
Diane: That, it is. And knowing the both of us, we will both agree to let the other one have their way. We'll pretend, and then both of us will show up wearing the exact same dress.
Alexis: We'll look like the Olsen twins.
Diane: Ew. It'll be a disaster on the scale of the Litigator of the Year award banquet.
Alexis: I hope it's not an omen. Remember how that night turned out?
Kate: Now, Clarice, Clarice, it is all right. Just stay at home until the food poisoning passes. Okay, feel better, Clarice. Well, two down and no one to go.
Maxie: Actually, I came prepared. I have Alexis Davis and Diane Miller's phone numbers on speed-dial.
Kate: Maxie, I cannot ask one without offending the other. And I have no family to ask.
Sonny: Okay, can we just let this rest? Things got a way of working themselves out.
Kate: No, Sonny, I cannot let it rest because it's going to leave a gaping hole in the middle of the ceremony. Not to mention the fact that we have crows or ravens or whatever the hell is flying around the bell tower. Maxie, you -- you are going to be my maid of honor.
Maxie: Don't you want to think about --
Kate: No, I do not want to think about it. Just say yes, so that we can get on with it.
Maxie: I would really like to.
Kate: Thank you very much, Maxie. Okay, we can go.
Minister: Good. Third time's a charm.
Mike: Or three strikes and you're out.
Kate: Okay, so, rehearsal flowers.
Sonny: What's wrong?
Kate: They're funeral flowers. That is it. I cannot go through with this wedding.
Elizabeth: I was really surprised to get your call. Are you okay?
Jason: Yeah, things are -- things are good. You know, business is actually running pretty smoothly, so I don't have to be at the office every -- every minute. How about you?
Elizabeth: Well -- I mean, I'm fine, I -- I guess. Lucky's taking Cameron and Jake to the mountains this week. Why did you ask to see me?
Jason: I just, uh -- I just wanted to tell you that I'm thinking of taking some time off.
Elizabeth: Oh, so you're going to be gone for a while?
Jason: Yeah, I'm going to Italy.
Jason: And I was hoping that you'd come with me.
Lulu: Uh, I thought we already had session today.
Lainey: This is about Johnny. I know you're expecting him.
Lainey: We try to ensure that our visitors just don't wander in and out as they please. It's for everyone's protection.
Lulu: Well, you make it sound like I'm in jail.
Lainey: You're in a clinical facility. There are guidelines set forth by your doctors to facilitate your care and your hopeful release.
Lulu: Hopeful release?
Lainey: It is my honest and professional opinion that further contact with John Zacchara would be harmful to your recovery.
Lulu: What if I think that you're wrong?
Lucky: You stay the hell away from my sister.
Ric: My dubious mission is completed.
Claudia: Did Lucky take the bait?
Ric: Oh, I told him that Johnny was on his way to see Lulu. He, uh -- he bit. I'd venture to say that the young lovers have been parted by now.
Claudia: And you didn't mention my name?
Ric: No, I was the soul of discretion. As far as Lucky is concerned, you had absolutely nothing to do with it. You happy?
Claudia: Oh, I'm -- I'm grateful. Ah, ha.
Ric: There's that word again. I haven't forgotten that you and I had a deal that we made.
Claudia: Mm-hmm. Okay. How about if I start showing you right now just how grateful I am?
Ric: Right here in your dad's living room?
Claudia: I'm offering myself to you.
Ric: Oh, really?
Claudia: As your date to Kate and Sonny's wedding.
Kate: I know -- I know I'm overreacting. It's just -- there are so many things and they're all coming together. It's like this big wedding monster out to destroy us.
Sonny: There's no such thing as a wedding monster.
Kate: Really? Are you sure? Really? Sonny, you have to admit that all of these things are more than a coincidence.
Sonny: No, what was more than a coincidence is when you drove your car past my office that night and stopped in. And we saw each other again.
Kate: Yeah, okay, that's true.
Sonny: We cannot let anything stop us now. Look at what we've accomplished in our lives. We decided to move mountains. We've moved them. We are stronger than omens, food poisoning, or any ravens in the bell tower.
Kate: But the flowers.
Sonny: The flowers. We love each other, right?
Sonny: And what we want more than anything is to get married. And that's what we're going to do. Come tomorrow, we're going to stand at that altar before God, and we're going to say we're going to honor each other and love each other for the rest of our lives.
Kate: I can't wait.
Sonny: Now, can we get on with the rehearsal before we make fools out of ourselves? Come on.
Kate: I love you.
Sonny: I love you.
Maxie: Coming. Okay, here.
Kate: Thank you.
Maxie: I hope they're okay. I got them from the garden outside.
Kate: Maxie, they're beautiful. You first.
Maxie: Oh, right.
Olivia: Hey, checking in.
Marty: Do you have a reservation?
Olivia: Yes, I do. Made by Mr. Sonny Corinthos.
