Sam: This is odd. Jerry Jacks, alone in the clinic after hours. You want to tell me what this is all about?
Jerry: What a coincidence. I was going to ask the same thing about you.
Sam: You first. Why are you here?
Jerry: Well, oddly enough, your mother.
Jason: You looking for something?
Maxie: You know, you really shouldn't sneak up on your house guests. It's rude.
Jason: Why were you looking through the closet?
Maxie: I, uh -- it's chilly upstairs. You might not have noticed because you're practically cold-blooded. But I wanted Spinelli to be comfortable, so I came down to get him another blanket.
Jason: Why don't you try being honest for once?
Maxie: I mentioned earlier about Karpov's people being behind Spinelli's hit-and-run and you got upset and left to do mysterious mob business. I heard on the news two Russian guys got beat up and --
Jason: And what?
Maxie: I wanted to see if your gun had been fired.
Jason: What if it had?
Carly: I'm standing here and I'm trying to explain to you what happened, but these explanations just sound like excuses. And there's no excuse for what -- there's no excuse for me having sex with Sonny. And I have nothing to say in my defense. I'm just so sorry. I'm so sorry, Jax. And I love you so much. I love you with all my heart, and I just pray that you still love me. You're the only man that I want. You're the only man that I ever want. Just, please, let this be where we start over.
Jax: I waited such a long time for this, to know that you love only me, to know that you're truly committed to this marriage.
Carly: Do you believe me?
Jax: Yeah, I do.
Sonny: Claudia? You okay? Hey, can you hear me?
Claudia: What the hell?
Sonny: You okay?
Claudia: What -- what happened? What were we do -- my God. Oh, you were driving like a maniac.
Sonny: No, I think what happened is you took a wide turn.
Claudia: Well, you were practically in my lane.
Sonny: Okay, well --
Claudia: Oh -- oh, my God.
Johnny: I asked to speak to Nikolas.
Lucky: Yeah, well whatever you want, you can't play on my brother's sympathy to get it.
Johnny: Where is he?
Lucky: He's in lockup.
Johnny: What happened?
Lucky: This trial is what happened. Scott Baldwin, he's out for blood. He doesn't give a damn about Lulu, and he's going to make you pay for murdering his son. Nikolas, he lost his mind and he punched Baldwin, so he got arrested. So whatever you planned on telling him, you're going to have to tell me instead.
Johnny: No, thanks.
Lucky: Yeah, because I'm a cop, or because I'm a brother who realizes how bad you are for my sister?
Johnny: You have no idea what I've done for your sister.
Lucky: Oh, sure I do. You're the reason she lost her mind.
Laura: Oh, Lulu, is that you, honey?
Lulu: Yeah, I'm sorry, I know it's late.
Laura: Oh, that's okay. Come on in. Turn on the lights.
Lulu: Are you sure this is okay?
Laura: Yes, it's all right. I was awake a lot, too. I was thinking about you.
Lulu: I just can't even believe that this is happening, that you are here.
Laura: It was a very hard day for you. There have been so many times when I haven't been able to be there for you. I really want to help you now.
Lulu: Well, that's the thing. I just -- I don't even know if you can.
Laura: Mm, I can do this. There you go.
Maxie: Obviously, I didn't have enough time to find your gun. And even if it had been fired, I wouldn't do anything.
Jason: Then why go looking for it?
Maxie: Because I'm curious like that. I have a problem. I think people are really interesting and full of surprises. Like you -- I mean, who knew that you had a designer suit? That's really nice fabric --
Jason: Don't touch my stuff.
Maxie: Okay. I'm kind of nosy. I'm sure you have a whole arsenal full of weapons, and I don't even want to think about what you do with those. That's another problem. I have an extremely active imagination. Feel free to say anything, anything you want.
Jason: You're the police commissioner's daughter. Can you see how it compromises me to have you in my house?
Maxie: But I would never give my dad any information about you. Or to another cop, or anything like that.
Jason: Not intentionally.
Maxie: Look, Spinelli worships you, okay? If something happened to you because of me, he would be wrecked. He'd end up blaming himself. And no matter what I would say, that wouldn't change it. So bottom line, my lips are sealed, okay?
Jason: It would wreck Spinelli if something happened to you.
Maxie: Do you think you could clarify that for me?
Sam: Why would you come to this clinic because of my mother?
Jerry: Before I submit to this interrogation, what is the reason for your nocturnal visit?
Sam: Oh, me, yeah. See, Nikolas is my cousin and he normally works late, so I was coming by to see how everything was going.
Jerry: Oh, how considerate.
Sam: Sure. Back to you, Jerry. What does my mother have to do with this clinic?
Jerry: Well, according to my sources, a new shipment of counterfeit drugs is expected in Port Charles shortly.
Sam: Okay, why don't you just call the police?
Jerry: I'd rather handle it in a more, shall we say, self-serving way? You see, I came here to warn Nikolas so he in turn could put in a good word for me with Alexis. But since you're here, I'd be very glad if you could pass on the message. That would be great.
Sam: So, wait a minute. You want me to think, what, that my mother's reforming you?
Jerry: No, I want Alexis to believe it.
Sam: Well, you know, I don't think that Nikolas is going to say anything nice about you to my mother. Besides, he's not here. So maybe it is time for you to go.
Jerry: Well, I just arrived here moments before you did. And since this conversation is becoming both tedious and counterproductive, I think there's no reason for us to stay here, so --
Sam: Great, go. I mean, you can go. I'm actually going to write Nikolas a little note.
Jerry: No, no, no. I mean, this part of town, you know -- the crime rate is abominable. I wouldn't dream of leaving you by yourself, no.
Sam: I'll be fine, thank you.
Jerry: No, no, no. You're alone and I assume, unarmed. You know, you can call your cousin in the morning. I'll drive you home. I'm not leaving you.
Carly: If we're committed to getting past this and working on our marriage, we can do it, Jax. We can make it work.
Jax: You know, Carly, I thought that this marriage would last forever. I really did. That I'd be a father to Morgan and we'd have children of our own and we'd grow old together, but that requires trust.
Carly: I will earn your trust.
Jax: Every time you slept with Sonny, it was like a knife through my heart. And you said that it wouldn't happen again, and I took you at your word.
Carly: It will never, never happen again.
Jax: You're right, it won't, because it won't be cheating because we won't be married.
Carly: I will be faithful to you for the rest of our lives. You just tell me what I can say or do to prove that to you.
Jax: I'm sorry.
Carly: I'm sorry. I just keep going over and over in my head every single thing that lead up to that moment and -- you wanted to drive me to the institution and bring me home and I should have said yes.
Carly: I should have let you console me and I should have never been alone with Sonny at a time with such grief. And when we turned to each other, I should have just said no and I should have considered the fallout.
Jax: Yeah, but you didn't.
Carly: No, I didn't. I should -- I should have said no out of respect for you and for us and our wedding vows and I didn't and I --
Jax: Don't torture yourself. Don't torture yourself with the "should haves" and "what ifs." I know that you regret it. I -- I do.
Carly: Then, please, Jax, let me make this up to you. Please.
Jax: No, Carly, it's over. I hope with time I find a way to stop loving you.
Operator's voice: All systems are busy. Please hold and an operator will be with you shortly.
Sonny: Damn, I can't get through to 911.
Claudia: Just keep trying, okay?
Sonny: Look, you need help, so I'm going to call my people.
Claudia: You don't -- you don't have people anymore. You quit the mafia, remember?
Sonny: I will call Max and Milo. They will get you out of here.
Claudia: Look, um, I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't -- I can't feel my legs. Maybe I'm in shock or maybe my back is broken. I don't want to end up paralyzed, so could you please just keep trying to call 911?
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, we'll get them.
Jason: You think you're helping Spinelli? You're doing the opposite.
Maxie: This is so unfair.
Jason: He tells you things he shouldn't tell you. You go on stakeouts with him. You barge in here with your crazy cover-up stories when he's getting in trouble.
Maxie: Don't even think about criticizing me for that. If I hadn't barged in and told Karpov's lawyers that me and Spinelli were having kinky waterfront sex, they would have pulled his arms out of his sockets.
Jason: That was a risk Spinelli chose to take he shouldn't have.
Maxie: Trying to impress you.
Jason: Or you.
Maxie: Please. Spinelli thinks that you are the coolest guy on the face of the planet. He's constantly trying to impress you by acting way tougher than he actually is, throwing himself into danger --
Jason: Yeah, and you follow him.
Maxie: Because I don't want him to get hurt.
Jason: What do you think it would do to Spinelli if you get hurt trying to help him? You really need to stop. You're only making things worse.
Carly: Jax, we love each other. Please, give me one more chance.
Jax: No, I'd only be setting us up to fail.
Carly: We wouldn't fail. I love you so much and I will make you so happy.
Jax: You know, I didn't realize it until now, but this is why I kept running away. I didn't want to invest too much because I knew that this day was coming. That one day you'd push me too far and I would have to leave.
Carly: This day can come and go like any other. You have the power to decide that.
Jax: Yeah. When Kate told me that you slept with Sonny, something died inside of me.
Carly: Don't -- don't say that.
Jax: No, you hurt me more than I ever thought possible, Carly. It's over.
Sam: Okay, here I am, home safe and sound.
Jerry: A beautiful woman such as yourself shouldn't be wandering about in this part of town, even one as capable as you.
Sam: I suppose this is where I'm supposed to tell my mother how gallant you've been.
Jerry: Oh, it would be much simpler for you and for me if only I were using Alexis.
Sam: But you're not, of course. I think it's just a wild coincidence that she happens to be the D.A.
Jerry: Well, considering my unsavory past, it does come in handy, doesn't it?
Sam: But it's never crossed your mind?
Jerry: Oh, it has. Many times. The only problem is, I genuinely care about Alexis. I've tried not to, but there you have it. Maybe I should do something like -- uncharacteristically noble, like finding a way to make her hate me. What do you think?
Sam: If there's any way you need me to move that along, you just let me know.
Jerry: You know what? You might be even more useful than you realize, darling.
Johnny: I gave up my freedom for your sister, you know that? Hmm? I could be across the border by now, but I took her to Shadybrook instead because she needed help.
Lucky: She wouldn't have needed to be there at all if it weren't for you.
Johnny: I didn't want her involved in this mess.
Lucky: I warned you the day I found you in your garden shed that she was too fragile and couldn't handle the mayhem in your life.
Johnny: So I screwed up! Now I'm trying to fix it.
Lucky: You're the reason Lulu's this way. And I have no sympathy to spare.
Johnny: Then find some sympathy for your sister, Lucky. The only person who can help her is Nikolas, so let me talk to him.
Sonny: How you doing?
Claudia: Well, I can feel my legs a little bit, but it hurts like hell.
Sonny: All right, I'm going to try 911 again.
Operator's voice: 911, what's your emergency?
Sonny: Yeah, we've had a car crash, um, on, um, Skyline Drive past the intersection of Valley Road. And the thing is, the person in the other car is badly hurt. Yeah, she could be internally bleeding, I think, so you need to get here as soon as you can. Bye. You smell that? That's gas. Come on.
Claudia: Get me out.
Jax: I don't want to hurt you anymore.
Carly: You just want to leave.
Jax: Yeah. I'm sorry.
Carly: Well, I want you to know that, um, loving you has been the happiest time of my life. I guess that was the problem, you know? I didn't really know what to do with something good, so I just wrecked it.
Carly: Jax --
Jax: Carly. You know, maybe -- maybe you'll find someone some day, and maybe I will, too.
Carly: I love you.
Jason: When Spinelli is in danger and you go in after him, you're just telling him you don't think he can handle it on his own.
Maxie: So I should wait for Spinelli to be injured or killed?
Jason: No, I'm just saying that he does not want you to save him, but you do it anyway.
Maxie: I respect Spinelli's ambition to be a tough guy, even though I think it's a waste. Spinelli is brilliant. So why not let you be the one to be shot at or run over by a car? For some weird reason, I actually think you like it.
Jason: Great, great. Have you told Spinelli this stuff?
Maxie: Of course, but he's fixated on being just like you. Always wanting to be thrown into danger, having to act so tough. Speaking of, don't you think it's time maybe you show Spinelli some tricks or something?
Jason: What do you mean, tricks?
Maxie: You know, danger dude stuff like hand-to-hand combat or karate?
Jason: I'm not going to teach Spinelli martial arts.
Maxie: Why not? You're street smart, Spinelli isn't. I mean, you need to give him tools so he can protect himself.
Jason: When did this become about me?
Maxie: Don't be so egocentric. It's about me. I have to make sure Spinelli's okay. I need him around. I don't know what I would do if he wasn't. I --
Jason: You what?
Lucky: Hey, I don't want to risk blowing our cover, but I just needed to see you.
Sam: What's wrong?
Lucky: Johnny Zacchara. He wants to see Nikolas.
Lucky: He didn't say. Something about helping Lulu.
Sam: Okay, so what, did you arrange it?
Lucky: You know, I just want to trust that Nikolas will not do anything that's going to hurt Lulu.
Sam: No, no, no. Come on, Nikolas loves Lulu as much as you do.
Lucky: I know, I know, but Nikolas has this messed up idea that Johnny can save Lulu when he's the only reason that she's losing her mind.
Laura: There have been more times than I can count where I've felt trapped and helpless and even hopeless. And that's the worst, because that one little word, "hope," it's like a life raft that you can hold on to when things get really tough.
Lulu: Here I thought whenever you felt like that, you would pull some trick out of that big bag Dad said you always carried around.
Laura: Oh, yeah, there was that. But hope, honey, is sometimes a decision, you know? It's a state of mind and of heart.
Lulu: Mine kind of doesn't work together well, or at least when it should.
Laura: You know, I listen to you and sometimes I just shudder because you're so hard on yourself.
Lulu: Hard on myself?
Lulu: Look at what I've done to Logan, to Johnny, to me. And they weren't my first casualties.
Laura: And they probably won't be your last. You know why? You're human. You make mistakes. We all make mistakes, honey, and that's good. That's how we learn. It's true. Oh, I wish there was some way I could give you perspective.
Lulu: And hope.
Laura: You know about the time that I was held captive by the Cassadines on that island, right, by that horrible man who called himself Nikolas' father. It was one of the worst times in my life. All I wanted was to go home and to see Luke.
Laura: So I just sat in my room night after night, and I stared out the window into the darkness and then the thoughts would start and the panic would rise. And sometimes, I would even just go out and walk the halls in the middle of the night. But no matter where I started, I always ended at the same spot.
Laura: The nursery. I would go in and I'd stand over Nikolas' crib and I would look down at my beautiful little baby, so perfect, such a miracle. And then I'd put my hand on his little chest and I could feel his breathing, slow and even. And then my breathing would start to slow. My heart would stop pounding out of my chest and a peace would just sort of wash over me. And I felt hope. And when I walked out of that room, I always left stronger than when I came in because I knew that Nikolas was a blessing to me, but I didn't realize then how much. It's not just that he's grown into a fabulous man and that he's a wonderful brother to you, but, honey, he saved your life. He was the only donor, the only match when you were sick. So you see, I had to go through all of that misery so that there would be a baby Nikolas who could one day save my beautiful baby Lulu. You see? Out of something horrible, something wonderful happened. And that's how it is. When we least expect it. That's how it works. That's perspective.
Johnny: Lucky talked to you?
Nikolas: Yes, but he made me promise that I'd tell him everything we discuss.
Johnny: Can't. He'll try to stop you.
Nikolas: Stop me from what?
Johnny: Getting Lulu out of the country. You've got to check her out of Shadybrook and get her as far away from here as possible. Because if she's not gone, Baldwin will put her on the stand.
Nikolas: I agree that she's in no shape to testify. That's just kind of a lot to ask for right now.
Johnny: She can't testify.
Nikolas: John, we're all worried about her, okay? But I just don't think the answer to this is taking her away from the people she cares about.
Johnny: If you care about your sister, Nikolas, if you love her, you will get her as far away from here as possible until the trial is over. Nikolas, it's not about saving me. It's about saving her.
Nikolas: Oh, my God. She killed Logan, didn't she?
Claudia: Okay, you're right. That's gas. Get me out.
Sonny: Hold still for a second.
Claudia: Get me out.
Sonny: The buckle's stuck. I'm trying to pull it out.
Claudia: What's wrong with it? Come on.
Sonny: Let me try something, okay? You've got to hold still. Just hold still.
Claudia: Oh, my God. Okay, cut it. Come on, just cut it.
Maxie: Spinelli actually believes in me. The only other person who ever did that was Georgie. Georgie was a little more realistic, though. She saw me for the selfish, manipulative bitch that I am, but she loved me anyway because that's what sisters do. I'm sure you know that from Emily.
Maxie: I never really understood what Georgie saw in Spinelli until she died and I sort of inherited him. Spinelli figured out way too late that Georgie loved him. So he wanted to figure out who killed her, and I did, too. That's why I went along with the whole "Jackal P.I." thing, even though all of Spinelli's babbling really drove me crazy.
Jason: He's brilliant.
Maxie: Spinelli is brilliant, I know that. Don't get ahead of me. Along with being brilliant, he's also kind and generous, even to me. He gives me credit for having good ideas. He gives me way more respect than I deserve. Somewhere along the line, I went from being the bad blonde one to Maximista, which, believe it or not, has helped me see myself in a better light. Don't get me wrong, I didn't instantly become a good and noble person, but Spinelli has stood by me. And I just want to be as good to him as he is to me.
Morgan: Mommy? Mommy?
Carly: Hey. Hi, there.
Carly: Wow, popcorn. You brought it home for me?
Carly: How was your movie?
Morgan: Why are you crying?
Carly: Um, well --
Mercedes: I'll take him upstairs.
Carly: No, that's okay. Mommy's crying because I made a mistake and I've been trying to figure out how to fix it. But it was a pretty big mistake, so I don't know if it can be fixed, you know?
Carly: You know how when you do something that you're really, really sorry for and you apologize, but the person is still really upset? That's what happened. Sometimes adults can get themselves in really big messes, but having you here with me makes me feel much better.
Morgan: I love you.
Carly: Oh, come here. Thank you. You have no idea how badly I need to hear that.
Jerry: Hey, little brother. What are you doing her? Why aren't you home with Carly?
Jax: Because there is no home. That marriage is over.
Jerry: You're kidding. My God, you're serious. What happened? Do you want to talk about it?
Jax: No, I don't want to get into the detail, you know? I just can't be with her anymore.
Jerry: I can't believe it. This is ridiculous. Tell me what happened. What happened?
Jax: Sorry, Jerry, I just don't want to talk about it.
Jerry: Come on, Jax. I know how much you love her, Jax. Tell me. I'm your brother.
Nikolas: I don't know how I didn't see this before. She's been riddled with guilt through this whole thing. She's been saying it's her fault all along because she's the one who killed Logan.
Johnny: It was self-defense.
Nikolas: And you saw that happen?
Johnny: No, I got there too late. But Logan went after her with an axe and she was terrified, so she grabbed the knife and defended herself.
Nikolas: Why didn't you call 911 right there, John?
Johnny: I should have. Lulu was in shock. And a few months ago, she hit Logan over his head with a wrench and put him in a coma. We were afraid that Baldwin was going to go after her and charge her with murder.
Nikolas: So what you did was cover for Lulu. You got rid of the evidence and dumped the body.
Johnny: And because of my interference, there's no way to prove that Logan attacked Lulu.
Nikolas: Do you realize now that running has only made this whole thing worse?
Johnny: She came in here with a gun in her purse. She was going to confess, so I got her out of here the only way I saw possible.
Nikolas: Yeah, yet another bad decision.
Johnny: The point is, this is a death penalty case.
Nikolas: If she gets on the stand, she'll confess.
Johnny: Which is why you have to get her out of the country now.
Claudia: Ow. Okay.
Sonny: I got it, I got it. Let's go.
Claudia: I don't want to burn. Come on, get me out.
Sonny: Can you walk?
Claudia: I don't know. I'm going to try.
Sonny: You got it?
Nikolas: If I do get her out of the country, I guarantee you that Scott will spin it so the jury will think that she was taken away so not to incriminate you.
Johnny: I don't care. Let him.
Nikolas: Oh, really? Well, let me tell you, son, I've been in prison and it's hell on earth. If you do get convicted and get the death penalty, you won't be able to change your mind.
Johnny: I will be fine as long as I know that Lulu's safe.
Nikolas: You really do love her?
Johnny: That's why I have to see this through. Hey, your brother's right. All this is happening to Lulu because of me. I got her into my life knowing full well she could get hurt, and now she has. So now it's on me to fix this. So, please, take her away and keep her safe.
Nikolas: Do you really think she'll agree to go?
Lulu: I think I understand what you're talking about. As awful as everything has been, it still got me in this place right when you were waking up. It gave us this time together, time that I've needed so much.
Laura: I'm so sorry you had to go through this awful time. You know if I could trade places with you, I would.
Lulu: But I wouldn't be learning anything that way, would I?
Laura: That's it. That's right. You heard me that time. Good, good. I'm proud of you.
Lulu: I don't know what for.
Laura: Because you're handling this all so much better than you realize. And I wish I could take the credit for it, but I can't. Oh, come on, I know you don't listen to me very often. I know, I didn't listen to my mother, either.
Laura: It's true. I mean, I think we all have to figure things out in our own time. And you're doing that now, and you will do it more and more often with or without me.
Lulu: I'm always going to need you, Mom.
Laura: And I will always love you, my precious little daughter. Honey, don't tell Grandma that I didn't listen to her.
Sam: Thinking about Lulu?
Lucky: Yeah, just watching a slow-motion train wreck and it's like standing in the distance, seeing the crash coming, and there's no way to stop it.
Sam: Hey, all you can do is love your sister, and I'm sure that means a lot to her.
Lucky: I just remember the last I even saw this city. I was like -- I was like 11. I remember how happy it made my mom. When she got home, you know, she just -- she had a white picket fence.
[Lucky and Sam laugh]
Lucky: She had her family. But my dad, you know, he was restless and loved, loved, loved living on the edge. Until, finally, my mom fell apart. And now it's happening with Lulu.
Sam: I'm so sorry. I know you're hurting so bad right now.
Lucky: I appreciate this, I do.
Sam: What? Appreciate what?
Lucky: Yeah, I just feel like I can talk to you and tell you anything and never be judged.
Sam: Well, you know, people don't have to be strong all the time. And Lulu's in trouble, so you have every right to feel sad and unhappy.
Lucky: Yeah, all my mom ever wanted was for us to look out for each other. That's what I'm trying to do for Lulu, but half the time she only sees me as her enemy.
Sam: Hey, just let it go. Just for tonight, Lucky. We can pick this up in the morning.
Singer: I flew for miles and miles just to get to you and I've done so many things I said I would not do nothing could keep me away from you no more lonely nights away from you
Maxie: I know you probably don't believe me because you walked in that one time me and Spinelli had sex, and you probably think I'm awful and that I used him.
Jason: No, um --
Maxie: It doesn't really matter because I feel like I used him. And in typical Spinelli fashion, he didn't get angry.
Jason: Well, because he cares about you -- a lot. I mean, Spinelli respects you as a person, and obviously you respect him, too.
Maxie: It's so much more than that. When he was hit by that car and I thought that he might die -- I don't even know why I'm telling you this. You just think I'm annoying.
Jason: No, no, no. I'm glad you're here. I need your help.
Carly: Morgan didn't want to sleep. He's playing with his action figures. The green warriors are storming the blue warrior castle.
Mercedes: Have they gotten over the moat yet?
Carly: A couple fell in.
Mercedes: I'll go lower the drawbridge.
Carly: Mercedes, um, I want to thank you for taking care of Morgan and not asking any questions.
Mercedes: Will you be all right?
Carly: I don't think so. Jax left me tonight and he's not coming back.
Mercedes: I'm sorry.
Carly: Me, too. I'm sorry for Morgan because he loves Jax so much and this is so soon after losing Michael. And I'm especially sorry for Jax because he deserves a hell of a lot more than what I wound up giving him.
Mercedes: Maybe you're being too hard on yourself.
Carly: No. No, I did all this and now I'm paying the price.
Mercedes: Things will get better.
Carly: Maybe. I just don't know why I couldn't have just once chosen what's good instead of what hurts.
Claudia: You saved my life.
Sonny: No, Michael did.
Claudia: That was Michael's pocket knife?
Sonny: We were walking through town years ago and he saw it in the window of the department store, right?
Sonny: He wanted it, I bought it. One Christmas he carved out "Dad" in a piece of wood and gave it to me. I just forgot about it, you know, until after I took him to the institution. I was going through his stuff and I saw it and I, uh -- I never go anywhere without it.
[Sirens in distance]
Claudia: Do you hear that?
[Claudia groans] Ow.
Sonny: You know what? You just need to -- you need to not move. Just -- just be still.
Sam: Well, I ran into Jerry today at the clinic. He said that he was there to warn Nikolas that there's a rumor on the street about a new influx of counterfeit drugs.
Lucky: So Jerry was doing a good deed?
Sam: Oh, I don't know. I don't buy it for a second. And then he insisted on driving me home. Gross.
Lucky: You think he was just trying to get you out of the clinic?
Sam: I don't know. But I am certain that Jerry is the key to Karpov and the counterfeit drugs. I just need more evidence to prove it.
Karpov: I don't like loose ends. Technically, I've been deported. I'm here under an assumed name. I need results -- now.
Jerry: Mr. Karpov, I told you I would handle it.
Karpov: Which is the only reason your brother is still breathing after having my visa revoked.
Jerry: Once again, Mr. Karpov, not to worry. Preparations have been made for a regrettably tragic accident at the Emily Quartermaine Free Clinic.
Jerry: As soon as all the victims are in place.
Jason: I have to go out again, so I need you to look after Spinelli.
Maxie: Okay. That's kind of why I'm here.
Jason: Okay, good. Stay in his room and just make sure he's resting comfortably.
Maxie: This sounds like you trust me. What's the catch?
Jason: Don't touch my stuff and quit asking questions.
Maxie: Oh, okay, so you don't really trust me. That sounds more familiar.
Jason: Do we have a deal?
Maxie: Yes, we have a deal. Thanks, by the way.
Jason: For what?
Maxie: Not kicking me out.
Jason: Just doing it for Spinelli.
Maxie: Well, that makes two of us.
Paramedic: Temperature's normal. B.P. is slightly elevated at 150 over 85.
Officer: No clear indication of which driver was at fault.
Claudia and Sonny: He/she was.
Officer: Both victims claim the other caused the accident.
Paramedic: Sit down, sir. Another ambulance is on its way.
Claudia: Am I going to be okay?
Sonny: Yeah, you're going to be fine.
Claudia: I owe you. You saved my life. And when the time comes --
Sonny: If the time comes.
Claudia: People like us, it always does.
Mercedes: Jax, come in.
Jax: Carly and Morgan upstairs?
Mercedes: No, she took Morgan and left. She didn't say where she was going or when she would be back.
