Castle Town Square

[Seio Skylan]

I appeared in a swirling vortex of silver tinted wind. My form first an outline which became more and more solid. After I was complete, the wind dispersed into the air.

"Whew!" I sighed tiredly. "That sure was tiring!" I stretched my wings open, happening to touch a nearby man. "Ah, sorry." I quickly apoligized. The man, however stared at me with a frightened look.

"What is it?" I asked, a little indignantly from the man's rude expression. The man simply pointed first at the wings on my head, then to the pair on my back, and lastly to my silver tail. "Ah...I see...Well, good night!" I hit the back of the man's neck with a chop of my hand, knocking him out. I dragged him as silently as possible towards a barrell in the corner and seated him down upon it.

I looked around from side to side making sure no one else was around, luckily I had appeared in an alleyway. "Well, I guess I should blend in more." I grunted uncomfortably as my form changed. Transforming into a slightly shorter man with black hair instead of silver and lacking the scales. I hurriedly clipped a piece of cloth to the back of my jacket to cover a hole, which had previously let my wings through. "There." I confirmed as I walked out into the market place.

Covering the land, extending outward from the burning Castle of Hyrule, came a dark shroud. Twilight. Fear came over the land like a dark shadow. Fear of a unamed evil.

In the sky, appeared a portal of Twilight and from it fell four Twilit Messengers. They landed in the square, one in each quarter of the square. Instantly the crowds spread, some woman screaming. They were all rushing for an indoors place.

But at least one person at each part of the square was caught. Each that was, was transfoormed into another shadow beast. Finally the streets were empty except for Seio and the remaining Twilit Messengers.

At this point, the shadow beasts stopped chasing the city's inhabitants and merely roamed the streets.

-From Hyrule Castle Throne Room-
Before the fountain that was at the town center flickered Twilight Shards for only a second then they solidified to form three entities. The center figure was cloaked and wore a helmet and the two figures beside him were Mega Twilit Messengers that acting as his bodyguards.

Seeing Seio, the elite shadow beasts made their way for him to hold him still but Zant waved a single hand, dismissing them to their positions.

This man had been ignored by the Twilit Messengers he had sent. Twilit Messengers he had ordered to kill, capture, or transform the civilians. So why, he wondered, was this man ignored?

I jumped in shock. The area had suddenly been covered with a darkness I couldn't describe and I had been surrounded by disgusting, dark, man-beasts, but they had attacked everyone but me. And now there was an armored man in front of me with two more beasts on each side of him. As I stared back at him I heard a faint clinking. The feather on my arm band was trying to force it's way towards him, obviously this man was strong.

I regained my composure as I wasn't being attacked. The armored seemed to be confused, that or maybe he was angry? It was hard to tell with his full face mask. But it was clear he was evil, he was emanating a darkness the same darkness in the air. I crouched down into a fighting position while my draconic features re-emerged along with my silver hair. "Who are you, and what do you want!" I yelled at him, it was a standard heroic line.

The part of Zant's helmet that guarded his mouth folded up. He grinned. "Ah, so we aren't dealing with a Hylian then." He dismissed the shadow beasts. "I am the King of Twilight." he said. "And this kingdom, I've taken over."

Zant raised his arms, then quickly brought them down, his twin scimitar blades appearing in his hands and a Twilight Barrier appearing about them.

((OOC: Gah! I can't take it anymore! I'm posting in third person! 1st person throws me off!))

Seio just gave a short laugh. "Dual swords, eh? I've got a pair, too." He crossed his arms right in front his face. He murmured a small phrase and two long blade extended from the bracers on his wrists. Seio slowly lowered his arms to his sides intimidatingly.

"Normally, I wouldn't fight someone I just met, but taking over a kingdom sounds evil enough for me to skip introductions." Seio looked about the evil man cautiously. "I'm not sure what to expect of people in this world...better play it safe.

Suddenly a fan of blades sprang from each side of each sword. Seio swung his arm in the general direction of Zant. A visible blade of wind, powered by Seio's own energy, flew towards the Twilight king.

Without moving, Zant summoned a Twilight Sphere and launched it at the wind attack to block it. The remaining wind passed the sphere, continuing towards him so Zant suddenly vanished. Diagonally, to Seio's right, he reappeared, spinning like a top, blades swinging dangerously. As he spun, he was going closer towards Seio.

((Sorry for the absence...))

Seio reacted quickly to Zant's attack. Seio spun with his arms stretched out in the opposite direction. His blade collided with Zant's stopping him. Seio smirked as he blew a puff of air from his mouth towards Zant's face. The puff of air solidified into a ball of air heading towards Zant like a punch.

(Sorry for vanishing.)
As soon as his fury of attacks were stopped, Zant vanished in another flash of Twilight and reappeared further away shooting a horde of Twilight Spheres at his opposition.

[Seio Skylan]

Seio stared at the incoming attacks. "Uh..." Seio gulps and raises his arm. The fan of blades turn again forming a shield. It began to spin wildly, and a barrier spread from it. Which covered Seio from the barrage.

Zant ended the attack seeing it did nothing. He was getting annoyed. The Twilight King vanished once more. This time he reappeared in the air, his arms wide so that his hands were visible. Before him appeared his sword of Twilight Shard. He took it with one hand and vanished.
Suddenly he reappeared before Seio and smacked his hand with the flat edge of the blade to knock his swords away.

((Lol...you can't smack his swords away. They extend from a pair of bracers on his arms.))

Seio bent backward from the force of the hit, but the swords stayed tight on his arms. It was practically impossible to remove them. So he just pulled himself upright and swung his swords together, aiming to slice the Twilit's head off.

Zant vanished and reappeared further away. But his swords were gone. "Enough."

[Princess Zelda]

-Zelda from Hyrule Castle-
A flash of light, and Zelda was in the center of Castle Town, right outside the castle.
"Oh no, I didn't go far enough." she bit her thumb, even though it was covered in a white glove. Zelda looked around and saw Zant. Her eyes widened and she leapt behind a building.

Zant turned. Did he hear someone? But there was no one there... No matter. He could look onto it later.
