Furret Funhouse Global Rules

These are basic rules and people need to use their common sense rather than have us spell out every scenario. Treat others as you would like to be treated. --Respect-- is the key.

Warning: If any staff member finds you are breaking our rules of conduct we will very quickly ban or remove you from the site.

Please keep it clean and respectful

There will be no flaming of any kind. Joking around is fine, but being insulting to others just for your own amusement will not be tolerated. We will not tolerate any kind of harrassment!

Debating is fine, insulting is not. Keep debates ON topic and DO NOT insult any other user.

Make sure the content you post is useful. Remember we have males and females of broad age ranges, religions etc. Take some time to think about your post before hitting the post button. Appreciate others how you would want them to treat you.

Mild Spamming

SPAM can be defined as:
Stupid
Pointless
Annoying
Messages

1) Make your posts meaningful, and do not post brief comments such as "lol," "nice," or "10/10."
2) Do not double-post (post twice in a row in the same topic). Instead, please edit your posts with updated content.
3) Do not post "Bump" or a meaningless post for the sole sake of raising a topic's position in the forum index. You're allowed to do this to a certain topic no more than once every thirty minutes.
4) Do not post a new topic directed at a certain member. Use the Private Message system for all private conversations.
5) Do not abuse the topic/post-report feature by reporting posts that do not require moderating. [This is considered a form of spamming, and it will be dealt with as if it were topic spam.]

Signature/Avatar Limits

1) Signatures must measure under 600 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.
2) The combined size of signature images must measure under 600 pixels wide by 150 pixels high.
3) The file size of all avatars and signature images must be no greater than 125Kb.
4) Signatures may not contain any materials which might be considered obscene, offensive, or otherwise repulsive.

Moderators - posts being removed

It is at the decision of the moderators if a thread or post should be deleted. So don't make threads asking why such and such thread was deleted for. It will do no good and could result in more trouble.

1) If a specific post of yours was edited or removed, it will be because you have broken either one of the main forum guidelines here or a forum specific rule. We will notify you with messages sent to your Inbox.
2) If your post was simply in a thread that was removed you do not need to complain about it. As mentioned above, WE will contact YOU if it was your post within the thread that was offensive.
3) If you find that you have been warned, please reread the rules to ensure this doesn't happen again.

A moderator's decision is FINAL. No questions asked.

Forum Specific Guidelines

Strike policy

We will give strikes to ANYONE who is disobeying the rules.
Basically if you post content that has to be removed due to the unsuitability of the content, you will be warned and your content will be removed. Remember it's up to YOU to post sensibly.

There are certain topics that are not allowed to be posted on the forums. This is because you will not receive official support for these topics on the forum, and we do not want the forum to be overwhelmed with the same types of posts.

I have been banned!

If you have been temporarily or permanently banned, then you should not post about it on the forums with another account, because you were obviously banned for a reason of breaking any of these rules.

Creating Multiple Accounts IS NOT allowed

Please do not create multiple accounts here at Furret Funhouse. We do not want the forums swarming with unused accounts. If at any time this gets out of hand or does not stop, the staff will be forced to require member validation. So please do not create multiple accounts.

So please be polite to everyone here, and make the Furret Funhouse a safe and fun place to be on.
