I'm interested in programming, but I'm crap at it. It would help if I'd get off my lazy butt and get past chapter 2 in the book on C that I'm reading.

C is a very good start IMO
once you learn C logic, everything will be jkust a matter of syntax |

HTML for dummies? Not a good starting point, HTML goodies is so much better. And then it just gets better from there once you've mastered CSS to do your bidding.
