\..Auditioning..//Ok then. Well it seems that you've been validated by one of the admin now, and you actually plan on roleplaying with us. That is great! Butt there are a few rules when it comes to joining.
1} You've read the rules, maybe even more then once.
2} You know the code that is required to be stated in your Audition.
3}You understand that your wolf is exactly that. YOUR wolf. Said character is not a copy of anyone else's, wasn't made to be an existing character's "Perfect Match", nor was created to be the most annoying scum of the earth you could possibly meet.
4}You understand that we aren't EVER going to accept a lonely, lost little puppy. The puppy character, Artemis, was created because he is part of the plot. And don't even ask if you can make a motherless puppy character to be part of the plot. The answer is no. If you want to be part of the plot then do so as an adult wolf. We'll accept at the least two years old. Maybe a year and a half if you're lucky.
5}Yes, we do accept felines. But only some, not all. This does not mean we don't accept tigers or any other exotic cats. We do, though we can't honestly say we accept all of them, i.e. no lions live in the Forest of Shadows; sorry but lions wouldn't fit in very well in a forest. Maybe a plain or a sahara, but not a forest. But anyways, only accepting some felines means we will only accept one or two at a time.
6}No mary sues please. I'm sorry, but I learned quite quickly, Mary Sues are ANNOYING.
a}Quick Descrption of Mary Sues:::
1}"Mary Sue" is the term used for a character who is either:
a} A thinly-veiled fictional version of the author herself
b} An original character who is the protagonist of the story. Not all "Mary Sues" are cardinal sins. If a good writer commits "Mary Sue", it can still be an entertaining, well-written story despite the above classifications.
2} The second part of the audition code is 'Deadly'. However, on the whole, "Mary Sue" stories are written by new writers whose first idea for a story follow a pattern of self-insertion (acting out their personal fantasy vicariously through an original character), and their "Mary Sue" characters suffer from the following characteristics:
a} She's perfect. Literally. Everyone likes her, she can fix the warp core with a bobby pin and a smile regardless of whether or not she's an engineer, she's got an excellent singing voice, and she's psychic too...
In a wolf's case of Mary Sue, it includes being the best looking, can do everything around the pack including assassinate, being everyone's favorite mom friend, etc., and allllll the males want her.
b} Wolf's case: She can fight and beat everyone. Including the alpha and lead warrior. She's smarter then said ranking wolves.
c} She's maverick, headstrong, stubborn, always wins in the end, and always shows "them" how her way is better.
3}Regarding gender: Mary Sue is not an exclusively female phenomenon. Harry Stu tends to be cocky, maverick, and has all the girls swooning while the captain admires him for his courage, daring, cunning, swashbuckling, computer hacking, and romantic abilities.
a}This can be applied to RPing too, I have to say I've seen quite a few Mary Sues around the 'net.
In general, I HATE Mary Sues/ Harry Stus. Create one and suffer.
7}Follow the guidelines closely, be detailed and you'll be accepted your first time most likely.
HAVE FUN AND THANKS FOR READING THIS!!!
