The Plot!

Yes, that's right! The Forest of Shadows Wolf RPG finally has a completed plot that I, Avernus have typed up and posted! Can you believe it?! (I Can't! Lmao. Actually that's kind of....pathetic.)

Anyways, I'm very pleased with the turnaround this site is making. I know that it's inactivity before was indeed my fault. I guess the site kind of died when I went inactive but I promise that that will happen no more. I need dedication from all of you (I already know Drago and Morana are dedicated. They've stuck with it since the expo board >.<) and that means activity. We will be preforming an Activity Check and it will run on for a couple of weeks so that all members may have the chance to rejoin.

So, no more inactivity, right guys? I know there won't be any of that from me! ^___-

Your Character

Name: Morana
Age: 5
Species: Grey Wolf, Canis Lupus
Gender: Lupe
Family (1 paragraphs):
Morana's family more or less had the same sort of colour and personality as he, so if you stuck the whole family together you would not be able to tell which was which. Morana's father, Gravedigger (Crypt for short), was a grouchy, fierce old wolf, and his mother, Fantasme, the quiet, ghostly fae that would appear as if magically by your side and give you a rather nasty shock. Together this pair produced several demonic pups, which included Persephone, who did have a nasty reputation of torturing other unsuspecting little pups in the pack; Rhapsody, who was the brawniest of the litter, and was the heir to Alphen position once their parents died. And finally, Morana himself, who was the swiftest and most agile, though did not give up an argument without a fight. (This lead to a pretty bad gash on the side from Persephone.) Most of the other members of the pack did have the occasional hint of their bloodline, but not many.
Personality (2 paragraphs):
This lupe's blood is cold, and his heart spares no room for anything that his family feared as 'stupid' such as love, and friendship, and all those light stuff that the pack found unbearable. He does not really swagger about collecting lots of friends and acquaintances. He prefers to hunt alone in the shadows, watching quietly whilst not making a sound. Once again, his need to argue on will rise up if he is insulted, and would not really care fighting to the death. Apparently, his father believed all of them to be "Spawn of Satan" which doesn't tell many much, apart from that his father made odd titles.

Alone, he can be rather snappish with himself mentally; his urge for bloodshed is quite strong, but it does not overpower his need to hide away in the gloom. A pack life would be alright, though many would find he spends much more time alone than the majority of wolves. In heart he was simply born a bloodthirsty ranger, always on the move, always on the hunt. Anger appears quite a lot, he may tend to bristle and snarl around masculin presence, though less so around feminine. He should include a lot of sarcasm when he talks; be aware for this because it comes into conversations (how rare they are....) quite often.

Detailed Description (1 paragraph)(include hobbies, fears and dislikes):
His hobbies is basically skulking off by himself like an idiot, and hunting a fawn alone. He usually does this in the dead of night, when not many are about and he can stalk about in the darkness. The thing he fears is simply life; he is not afraid of death nor dying. He is a killer and spoiler of love, in other words he dislikes the look of two mates together, it seems to him sickening. His dislikes are being in company and being at the center of conversations; this is why talking to another is so rare.
Explain his/her History (3 paragraphs):
(This is in RP mode)
The mouth of the dimly-lit cave glimmered faintly, before the light disappeared, plunging the area back to darkness. Huddled away in a corner, an ebon fae lay down on the craggy floor, three pups suckling at her belly while she slept soundlessly. There was a faint crackle of lightning and thunder, and a huge lupe appeared at the cave mouth, his fur drenched with rain. In his maw he held a small rabbit, which had been torn apart quite violently when caught.

"Fantasme. I have brought food."

In the shadowy corner the vixen stirred, and her crania lifted so her voids could settle on the raven-hued brute, with hide identical to hers, who stood sopping wet. Her green orbs studied him for a moment, before she opened her kissers and spoke quietly.

"Bring it here, Crypt. I am hungry, and so are your children."

She nodded vaguely to the infants squabbling at her belly, and her mate advanced towards her, clutching the rabbit tightly between his jaws before dropping it beside her head. As she began to eat, he spoke up slightly nervously.

"If you want anything else, just call for me."

With that, the male turned and hurried out into the open again, clenching his ivories bitterly for the cold chilled his bones. Back in the cave, however, the naming ritual had begun. The fae touched the dials of each of her pups, naming them in a whisper.

"You shall be called Persephone, for the girl who was dragged into hell by Satan... and you shall be Rhapsody... my, you have a fine look. And you... you shall be Morana."

She touched the last pup, and he wriggled about, while Persephone and Rhapsody had engaged in a blind fight over milk. The vix prodded them with her soft wet nose, before letting her crania sink to the floor once again, and settling into the same deep sleep.

*****

Morana smirked to himself as he watched the other young wolves wrestling in the early morning sun while their parents were asleep. His emerald orbs settled on Persephone, who was biting the scruff of a young tawny male quite roughly, then to Rhapsody, who seemed to be scaring his attackers off with one look. All were battling for practise except himself, who couldn't really be bothered with all the biting and cuffing lark. Quietly, he finally emerged from the shade of an old oak tree, and padded casually up to his sister and biting her plume, then running swiftly away to jump onto a fallen log, prancing about on the top of it and grinning at his furious sibling, who was so oddly unagile she could not jump up.

"Morana, come down, you coward, before I get a bear to come and do it for me!"

The young mascu smirked again and peered over the edge at her, plume bobbing contentedly at his rear.

"Wow, what're you gonna do to actually get it to come up here? Chuck a honeycomb up?"

Persephone scowled angrily at her brother before marching off, her hackles raised and fur bristled. Morana, however, was laughing after her, and sending more taunts floating in her direction.

*****

The now mature ebon lupe sprang over a huddled clump of bushes, and continued to hurtle headlong away from the pack's boundaries, a pleased grin on his face as he ran for freedom. By himself, at last! No more teasing from Persephone or Rhapsody, no more rules, nothing! Finally, he could be alone. Morana skidded smoothly to a halt and raised his crania to scent the air, before hurrying on again, giving no thoughts of where his destination was going to be. Where, exactly? He had once heard of a place, a placed called the Forest of Shadows, which was led by a fae named... A-...Avril?...no....Avernus. He smirked as he dashed through a hedge, startling a number of nesting birds which raised an alarm call as he bounded on. So, what was this pack going to be like? Could he roam by himself? Life was so full of questions...

Give an example of your role play (2 paragraphs):

Glaring green occlars emerged from the gloom as a shadowy lupe appeared, stalking cautiously towards the abandoned carcass. It looked like a rabbit wth half its throat torn out... Gingerly, he picked it up between his jaws and sped off with it, the body dangling awkwardly in his mouth. For a long distance he ran, before stopping outside a small den hidden in a hedge. As though making it seem easy, the lupe ducked his head and crawled into the small hole, the rabbit dragging along the floor. It was a bit cramped to get in; a traffic jam at the mouth of the so-called 'den'. But he eventually lay down inside and began to devour the dead animal, first digging into the already ripped out throat, then to its chest. Whoever caught it must be pretty annoyed with him for stealing it, though maybe they should be more careful. A lone hunter such as he would've thought it to be easy pickings.

Dawn's first light approached as Morana finished his quiet meal in the den, and bird chatter split the deathly silence. The lupe's now bloodstained ebon muzzle lifted, and green voids stared out to the entrance, resting on the faint pink skies and fluffy grey clouds. Smirking, he crawled outside and chucked the remains of the rabbit into some bushes, alarming several birds who were singing along to the dawn chorus. He ignored them and darted away further into the forest, auds pricked intently forwards, maw slightly open with pink fleshy tongue hanging out at the side. So, when should he set off? It had been a week since he had first arrived here to rest from the tiring trip from home, and he had been intending to leave the next morning. But no, he wanted to stay a while and hunt. So he was setting off today, after hardly any rest, continuing towards the famous Forest of Shadows, and that Alphena, Avernus.

Other:
There is not much more to tell about this lupe....

(FINISHED!)

Powers

Telepathy

Morana is fairly good at telepathy through the minds of those he senses, for example, on a dark night, he would guide a member of his pack to him. Or, in other cases, if he did not wish to waste his breath, as he usually would do, the normal conclusion would be to simply send his thoughts. But he has had discipline on guarding his mind from other telepaths, and is able to guard it with a sort of sheild. Those who are unfortunate to break into his mind will suffer the concequences of combat or possibly even his other powers.

Inhuman strength

The wolf uses this fairly, considering the amount of stamina it will need and whether it is suitable in the situation. If he truly wished to destroy something or someone without mercy, he would use this power. If not, he would simply not use it, and battle with the strength of a normal wolf. Those on whom this power is used will have aroused a malicious anger inside him, and when that match is lit, it does not burn out until his goal is accomplished.

Shape-shifting

This is one of his most treasured powers. He uses it only occasionally, for it saps his stamina to do so, unlike Tarak, who can use it at his will. In need of speed, he would morph into something similar to say, a cheetah, though not entirely correct, with some form of likeness to his true wolven form.
