The only thing she is bad at is fighting - her build just doesn't allow it. Even though, if facing a weaker wolf, her stamina will enable her to fight for a while, any conflict with a stronger animal that happens to be more neutral with the strength/agility balance, she will fail easily. That is why she usually keeps herself to herself. Her coat is a pale slate-grey, lying on an undercoat of cream, which is more visible around her jowls, muzzle and underbelly. There are hints of black here and there, but grey is the most dominant colour. Sharp golden eyes rest on either side of her snout, which have a tendency to take on a more metallic sheen in the light. Personality: She is very thoughtful and takes things in her stride, but along the way she can be curious and adventurous, born for living on the wild side. She is not particularly attracted to males unless they are interesting and show good signs of dominance or if they are resourceful. No subordinate will catch her eye, no matter how good-looking they are: she always goes for one of the high-ranking males. This is not simply because she wants a high rank herself, it is to prevent herself from being looked down upon. She takes things seriously, so it is fairly difficult to crack a joke in her company. There are times, however, when she wants to be alone, and when that happens, it is wise to obey her wishes. She may be poor at conflict, but she is observant of when to use her powers. History: Sombra was born to the Beta pair of a small, social pack, along with her three siblings. Her father, Danza del Fuego, who was respected by the rest of the pack and acknowledged by the Alpha, had also mated with another female, Abra Los Cielos, and produced a single pup, while the rest were stillborn. However, Cielos became weaker and was unable to care for their daughter, so the pup, Ley Quebrada, was taken over to his other mate's litter, where she took good care of her. Cielos died soon afterwards, and Danza submitted to grief, spending days alone, roaming the forest and leaving his mate Sueños Perdidos to look after herself and the pups. In his absence, Perdidos became closer to another male of a lesser rank, and the pups soon knew about this. Sombra, who had taken it upon herself to give her sire some word of this, crept away in the night, accompanied by Cazador and Quebrada. Whilst this took place, the male entered the den, killing the remaining pups, and with Perdidos' permission, he mated with her without knowing of the other pups' existence. It took the three remaining pups of Danza's bloodline to seek their sire out, and when they did, he was hidden away inside a cavern, concealed from the knowledge of the pack members. They explained the situation to him, and his mood became worse than ever, till he finally returned to the pack, and ventured down into the den, where he found the male with his mate. Without mercy, he killed the male and turned on Perdidos, who stood, allowing herself to pass into the void, as Danza tore her apart. Sombra, Cazador and Quebrada simply watched, feeling only slightly sorry for their mother, who had willingly betrayed their sire without reason. Perhaps it had been his absence and neglect which caused her to do so, but the pups were too young to fully understand, and were raised by Danza from then on.
