Family:
Korin was born into a family of five wolves. His father, Torin, was an extremely large brute, a creme brown in color, who was very short tempered. His mother, on the other hand, was nearly a complete opposite of his father: a small and timid creature. She was alabastor in color, her fur especially long and silky, uncharacteristic to canadian wolves. Korin had two siblings, a brother and a sister. His brother, Aroni, took after Korin's father, in that he too was an exceptionally large pup, even at birth, and was always the one to get upset the quickest. Aroni was a black wolf, taking his coloration from the family's grandfather, who was named Al Korin. Korin's younger sister, younger being he was born three minutes before her, doesn't take after any of the known family. Selene is a rather well tempered femme, though when agrivated can be quite fiesty.
Personality:
Korin himself takes his temperment from both parents, though mostly his father. He isn't so hotheaded that he is quick to judge and to be mean to others, but isn't the fearfull thing that his mother had been. He gets his respect from his father's firm guidance, and believes that disrespectful wolves should be punished quickly without restraint. Korin believes though, despite his need for proper respect to others, that all wolves are equal and shouldn't be treated badly or discourteously, no matter what rank.
He is a rather quiet wolf, he doesn't neccissarily enjoy romping around, as he deems this behavior a waste of time and energy. The few exeptions to this belief is with pups. He feels that pups need firm guidence, but should be allowed to play, as this is how they learn. He's rather soft-hearted, though it cannot always be seen to those around him. He often comes off as cold an emotionless, since he tries to look at things that would be the best choice in that circumstance, despite his own veiws and beliefs.
Detailed Description:
Korin is a bicolored wolf, his head being black, then fading into a creamy white color around his neck. His two forelegs are also black, the black coming up to his knees before fading into the white that covers the rest of his body. His eyes are a bright golden color, and seem to be like fire whenever it's dark.
Korin enjoys the nighttime more than any other time of day. He enjoys looking up at the clear, starry skies and imagining the wolves of the past watching him, their eyes being the twinkling stars above. He likes to go for long walks at night, but also during the day. Long walks seem to calm him. It is always easier for Korin to have conversations with others after he has been on a long walk.
He dislikes hot, humid weather. It seem to make his blood boil and he becomes very ill tempered, in the worst cases he even becomes violent. In these cases, it would seem that he has lost all sanity, even attacking his friends, so he tends to stay in cool places on days like this. One of Korin's fears is being hurt, emotionally. This is part of the reason he looks at everything so impartially. He doesn't want to get close to someone and get hurt.
Explain his/her History:
The day Korin was born, his father, Torin, looked down at his son and named him in honor of his grandfather, Al Korin. He named his newborn pup Korin. Korin's father had always been a strict wolf, quick to punish his children whenever they did wrong, and is responsible for the way that Korin turned out as an adult.
When Korin was a year old, he and his father were in a fray and even injured each other. Korin wanted to take his father's position in the pack as beta, since he could easily see that Torin was becoming quite old and frail. But his father would hear none of it, and told Korin that if he wanted the position, he would have to challenge him for it. Korin knew that other wolves would also want the position, and wouldn't show his father the mercy that he would during battle. So he challenged his father. Korin succeeded in defeating him, and after that day neither of them spoke again.
A year later, when Korin was two years old, his father became very ill with sickness. He passed on only three months later after not having enough strength to stand or eat. Korin seemed very affected by this, though he would not admit how close he was with his father. He regretted not having spoken to his father before he died, and it was then that he decided to leave his pack. His sister took his place as beta, and he left to find a new pack that he could call home.
