Rose Gardens The roses in Liston are famous for the strength of their scent and their overwhelming size. Declared the national flower of the country, the gardens overflow with colors and sizes of roses. The sheer perfume is enough to drug anyone into a stupor.
The Tea Room So called because every time King Edward II called anyone in here, tea was served. No matter the occasion, tea was served to those guests that Edward deemed important enough. Sometimes, those guests were beheaded afterward...
The Pearl Hall This hall is used for the court as a place for its social gatherings and grand events. Banquets, balls, and coronations are often held in the Pearl Hall. Its name is derived from the mosaic on the wall of pearls and mermaids.
The Mirror Room A room full of mirrors, stretching from top to bottom of the walls. This room once held a great pianoforte in it but it was removed when a courtier brawled another man in the room and completely demolished the mirrors and the pianoforte. Now, it serves as a room where tiny parties are held for close friends.
The Sitting Room Filled with portraits of Good Queen Lys and the king himself, the sitting room is filled with couches, card tables and people on any given day. The chatter of the nobility rises sharply above the soft playing of a lute and, here and there, a feminine laugh can be heard above the din. This is a socializing area and filled, like Sundaril's one, with light, happy colors like light blue, cream, and butter yellow colors.
Courtier's Rooms This are the rooms where visitors to Liston's court as well as some of the constant noble residents reside while court runs through the seasons. The rooms are mostly alike but the ones that have the same person in them for more than a few years have personal touches such as a portrait or special sheets on the beds.
The Queen's Chamber These rooms are grand indeed for Liston's tastes. The floors are stone but overlaid with rich red carpets from the Southern Kingdoms and the paintings on the walls are of cherubs and mothers with children as well as the past Howard queens. This is where Queen Ophelia sleeps.
