Title: My favourite song at the moment.

-Diomedes- - February 18, 2009 10:51 PM (GMT)
Nina Simone - Sinnerman

Starts 16 secs in. Awesome. :)

The Miami Vice (2006 movie) soundtrack is amazing in my eyes... I love it. Bought it for £4 on Play.com :D

And, the song 'Numb/Encore' by Linkin Park and Jay Z which features in the movie has been one of my favourite songs since the first time I heard it 2 years ago. That undercurrent still makes me tingle every time I hear it!

Numb / Encore

REZ- - February 19, 2009 08:20 AM (GMT)
Sinnerman by felix da housecat, a classic :P

Atm, I listen a lot to these:

Kings of Leon - Use somebody.

John Frusciante - Omission ( also, the past recedes )

The Strokes - Reptilia

Ahhh, give me "Crocket's theme" by Jan Hammer anyday. I always wanted the Korg Wavestation synthesiser that it was played on.

2pac - 16 on Death Row remix

Nice song and awesome remix :) This remix and another 2pac's track (Last motherfucker breathing) are so far the only rap that I like because they really sound like the guy living on the street is pouring out his heart about it. This doesn't mean that I endorse this lifestyle though, it's quite the opposite :D

Its a really nice song but wow what a weird combination!

The guitar at the beginning, then the techno sort of sound effects and then the vocals which sound like they belong in reggae :ph43r:

It works really well though, i could add that to my driving tunes compelation

Steven - June 9, 2009 04:22 PM (GMT)
True, the combo is weird :D I like the guitar the most. I want to make a down-pitched remix of this song probably without vocals :)

Happily, I'm not :D I like 2pac because his music is
1) good!
2) far closer to that reality than the rap of hundreds screen-dominating black nobodys who chat about ghettoes, crime and poverty on the background of luxury cars and ass-shaking whores  :D

Though certainly there is other nice rap music :)

and about n-vitral - smitgotten,i challenge anyone on this forum to remake this song on your own!
it's fucking hard to make that kind of music, tried it several times with reason and fruity loops, but it just won't work!very hard to get the preffered bassdrum, and especially reason is fking hard to work with!

TAKE THE CHALLENGE :D
