I expect this "Land & Air Action Pack" to contain Commanche 4, F22 Lightning 3 + those Armored Fist games.
...but as long as they don't solve the cheat problem this will lead nowhere. On the other hand it means we will need to wait a little bit longer for DF:AF.
IMO they run out of cash, this way they want to earn some bucks with old shit.
Says NW2 will be finished until the release of this 10th anniversary package (1/13/2009)

Its not the smell that makes gun oil a good lube its the fact that it doesn't smoke under temperatures of several hundred degrees ;)

I mean, for 30 bucks it's ok, but I'd rather want a very good DFAF than a good DFAF and a mediocre DFX with a graphic patch.

No, DFX2 is not using the DFAF engine ( and yes, it's a totally separate game, and it's not a replacement for DFAF )
3.is dfx2 being shipped on dvd-rom or cd-rom, depending on what web site pre order i read some say cd some say dvd.
I'm pretty sure it's on DVD - we're planning on including a lot of content for mappers.
4. please can you tell me the spec of system needed to run dfx2.
Not official yet, but it will basically run fine on the same specs as DFX. It will probably have a larger HD footprint, and a little more RAM and juice on the video card isn't going to hurt - but if you can run DFX fine now - you'll be ok.
Also, DFX2 is not a remake or update of DF2 as a lot of people have been speculating. It's original missions, all new maps and terrains ( plus all the old terrains as well ).
Anti-cheat and hack reporting will be much more solid than previous games.
We'll try and 'leak' some more screens this week for you guys as well :)

edit: I forgot to mention that we have been looking at DFX and JO critically for weapons and vehicle balance for DFX2. We're aware of the previous balance issues with guns, nades, AT4s, helos, gunships and are addressing it.

Sounds like a panic-reaction to me if they have already start the promo-campaign about DFAF.
It would be like presenting COD7 with a new forum,... and then come with COD6.....

DFX was old school. The idea was good but it was basically DF2 with new maps and vehicles. After playing BHD/JO for a few years then even the weapons were lame.
Nova corrected the issue after the release of DFX with gunner shooting at 1000m by installing a 'glass window' at 500ish meters.
This new game, they say, is based on the theme of DFX only the rest is new. I guess a JO engine version with the new maps and stuff that Nova were testing on the game servers some months back
