[Tigerkit]

The young dark brown bengal kit padded into the woods. His pale, cold blue occulars looked around as he reached a moonlit clearing. A strange, silvery shape sat in the clearing. For a moment he thought it might have been Moonstar, coming to rebuke him for fighting with Amberkit and Firekit, but the cat was smiling. Silvery amber eyes sparkled at him. "Tigerkit..." The cat said to him, rising gracefully and padding to him. "My son..." Tigerkit watched in silence as Tigerstar spoke to him.

"F-Father? Tigerstar?" He questioned, rubbing his head against the StarClan Warrior's. "Yes, Tigerkit..." Tigerstar purred, solid, but in an odd way. "I saw you defend my honor from Silverpelt... You've done well... Remember Amberkit and Firekit... They may prove to be enemies... And watch out for Leafkit... Nightkit is attracted to your brother, which may turn out badly for him..." Tigerkit purred at his father's praise.

[Flamestar]

Ebonkit watched as Tigerkit talked to a cat much like him, only older. She hid in some weeds large enough to hide her. He called himself, Tigerstar. "Father? Tigerkit, is that father?" She bounded from her hiding place and sat next to Tigerkit, gazing up into eyes of the large Bengal tom. Is this my father? Could it really be?

[Tigerstar]

Tigerstar's silvery eyes sparkled. "Ebonkit? Little Ebby..." He purred, rubbing his head against hers. "Yes... I am your father..." His great, warm voice flowed over the kits. "I will be watching over you two, no matter where you go, or what you do... I have already spoken with Gingerkit, through her dreams..." The bengal tail wrapped about his paws. "I was telling your brother that I saw you two defend my name... Thank you..." He nodded, bowing his great silvery head. Scars shone silvery over his pelt. One on the bride of his nose and the other splitting through one of his ears.

[Flamestar]

Ebonkit purred as her father stroked her. "Oh! Thank you, father...We knew you weren't all they said!" She looked up int his eyes once more, "Father, I think Leafy is going to get hurt by Nightkit, it can't happen, not even to Leafy, can it?"

[Tigerstar]

Tigerstar purred, "'Her kittypet weakness will be her downfall...Remember Nightkit well, young Gingerkit...' I told your sister that..." Looking down at Ebonkit, the StarClan Warrior looked up at the dark night sky, up at Silverpelt. "When you need me, I am always up there... I will know if anything happens to Leafkit... And if it does, I will find you, Ebby..." Turning his gaze to Tigerkit, he purred lowly, "And don't think that I have forgotten you, Tigerkit... You are like I was at your age... Continue on it life, but don't make the same mistakes that I did. Beware of allies, as they can turn on you even easier than you can make an alliagance..."

[Flamestar]

"Yes, father," Ebonkit mewed, drinking in her father's comforting scent..She felt as though she'd known it all her life, but she must;ve founf a trace of it on her mother's fur, she reasoned. "I'll take good care of Tigerkit, Leafy, and Ging for you!"

[Tigerstar]

"Thank you," The StarClan Warrior nodded. He licked each kit roughly once between the ears with a smile. "If you need me, I will find you..." Tigerstar purred, before standing, ready to leave for Silverpelt.

[Flamestar]

Ebonkit purred as her father licked her head. "Good-bye, father, and thank you!" She gazed at her father, fascinated by the colors of his fur...It was silvery, but still orange benagl pattern...It was hard forher mind to reason why, but she was glad she could visit with her father...

[Tigerstar]

Tigerstar purred with a nod as he leapt, getting smoothly larger untill he was a huge, silvery tiger, jumping into the night sky. He seemed to run along in the sky untill he reached a spot void of a star, where he vanished, and a bright, twinkling star took his place.

Tigerkit watched, amazed. "Father..." He gasped, "It was Father...!" Purring, he turned to Ebonkit, calm once again since the 'fight'. "We should get back home..."

[Flamestar]

Ebonkit nodded and turned towards the 'camp' in the alley. "Yeah, let's go..." Then she started off at at trot, not intending to race home...She wanted to walk casually with her brother so that they could talk about what their father had told them and how much trouble they would be in with their mother. "Tigerkit, how are we going to protect Leafy?" Ebonkit paused her speech for a second or so, thinking deeply, "At least father was happy to see us and was proud of us defending his honour..."

[Tigerkit]

Tigerkit nodded, still purring as he padded alongside his sister, long legs enabling him to keep up with her. "Leafkit didn't seem to interested in that Nightkit..." He mused, "But if he does, we'll just have to keep him away from her and show him what he's really like!" He spat to his side, expressing his apparant disgust of the EarthClan kits. "Huh... Thay think Ravenpaw was so good and brave, when, in reality, he couldn't even tell the Clan!" He laughed, thrashing his tail. Already he was starting to look more like his Father...

[Flamestar]

"Yeah...We must prepare for the Gathering...I know we are to go and meet other Clans there, but if need be, we are not under StarClan's oath of peace, am I right?" Ebonkit theorized. She padded alongside her brother in relative silence, with the exception of their paws beating the earth into submision and their whispered conversation.

[Tigerkit]

Tigerkit grinned, "Right... BloodClan may 'ally' with us..." He broke off, "No... No allys. Best a captive from each Clan... A kit from EarthClan, an Apprentice from the rest... I don't know how... But..."

[Flamestar]
