Alone? Yeah right!, Majicspirit gets a patient

[Pinefur]

The black white-mask medicine cat yawned. She streched out her legs. "Starclan has been good, no big injuries yet," she mumbled to herself licking a forepaw.

The tan and brown she cat collasped at the mouth of the den with a mew. Her bitten leg looked slightly swollen.

Majicspirit jumped up with a yowl. "What happened!" She demanded checking her over.

[Flamestar]

"She's been bitten by a cottonmouth!" shrieked Blacknight as he appeared behind his fallen friend. "It's my fault! I should've been bitten, she shouldn't have come hunting with me! Why? Oh, why?"

[Pinefur]

"Oh, snap out of it Blacknight, it wasn't your fault," Majicspirit snapped. "Keep talking to her," She said running out of her den cursing under her breath.

Pinepaw moaned and tried to lift her self only to be overcome by dizziness.

Blacknight nodded, "Alright..." He turned to look at the collapsed Pinepaw, "You'll be fine...I'm sure...Masjicspirit is a genius with herbs and medicines...You'll be back to normal in a jiffy!" His voice was in a mroe cheerful tone and his eyes were lit up with sythesized glee, to make Pinepaw feel better, because inside, Blacknight felt torn apart.

[Pinefur]

Pinepaw's auds flickered showing she was listening to his voice.

A few moments later the medicine cat returned with a packet of herbs a what looked like a black worm.

Pinepaw moved slightly away. "What's That?" she said in a whisper.

"Leech," Majicspirit said calmly moving Pinepaw closer in the den. She carefully put the 'leech' on the snake bite, it started, well, um drinking the postioned blood xD. Pinepaw whincd slightly. "Did you happen to lick any of the blood from it?" Majicspirit said turning to the Deputy.

The large black tom's chest heaved with his sighing, "Yes, I guess that was a mistake...Huh?" His eyes held an apologetic look, it was something he was taught to do by his mother, who had been bitten by a snake.

[Pinefur]

Majicspirit grumbled again padding to the back of the den and coming back with two red berries on stems and another herb. Here, chew up this," she paused, nudging the herb over to him. "Don't swallow then chew up these then swallow," she meowed carefully de-steming the berries. "And no, they're not death bearies," she meowed turning to look at Pinepawwho whinced again.

Blacknight nodded, before bending down and picking up the herb in his mouth...He was feeling slightly dizzy, but not too much. The herb tasted bitter, but he didn't spit it out like his inards told him to, afraid that they would be harmed by it. Then, shoving the chewed up herb into his cheek, he bent down and picked up the berriews, befofre chewing them as well. These berries were sweet, and he thanked StarClan that they weren't deathberries, but he knew no one who would feed him deathberries. Their juice mixed with the herb pulp and made like a sweet and sour sauce. Once they were thoroughly mixed, he swallowed, feeling sicker than before he tasted the bitter herb. "Blach!"

Majicspirit smirked. "I hope that will teach you not to do that again, she meowed and started messing with the herbs, putting one there and one here an so on. Pinepaw meowed softly and Majicspirit looked at the leech. She gently pulled it out and placed in down. Picking up a herb and chewing it, she bent over Pinepaw's bite and spit in in the wound. "Does it hurt?" the medicine cat questioned. Pinepaw shook her head. "Good, he got them all," Majicspirit said pushing another herb to Pinepaw along with berries.[

Pinepaw chewed them as Blacknight had done tasting the bitterness then the sweetness of the berries. Swallowing she wringles her nose.

"I know, terrible stuff, too bad it's needed...No offense, Majicspirit..." Blacknight laughed before his eyes opened wide at Majicspirit, hoping not to hurt her feelings. "You saved us, thank you!" He yawned and then headed for the entrance. "I'll be right back, you two," he mewed, "Have to go pick up that stupid snake I buried..." In about ten human minutes, Blacknight re-appeared, carring the dead cottonmouth. He set it down in front of Majicspirit. "For you...Perhaps, you can experiment on the venom, as well."

Majicspirit laughed. "That's why they call me a medicine cat," She meowed. Nodding as he left she turned to Pinepaw. She smiled still in a bit shock and a tad weak from the after-vemon. "Ah, thank you Blacknight, that should help, though I even have an antidote that works, I might find something better, now, do you think ou want some poppy seeds?" she asked pushing a died poppy head torward them

Blacknight cokced his head to the side. "This might considered a very stupid question, but why? To dull pain or to fall asleep? I didn't think curing poison needed sleep in the curing...Or does it?"He looked over Pinepaw who lay on the ground, freshly cured from being bitten. He felt rather bad about her being harmed under his watch...he felt like he caused it!

Majicspirit shrugged. "I was justing asking, all depends on how you want to sleep, if you wanted to fall asleep dreamless take the poppy seed but if you rather have a dream stuck with it, take some catnip. And do you still feel pain?" she asked.

[Nekostar]

Nekostar padded into the den. "Snakebite? All fixed up, Majicspirit?" She purred, looking voer the herbs and patient. "Good then. Blacknight... Pinepaw... Time to go to the Gathering. You ready, Pinepaw?" She questioned as she lashed her tail, sitting beside her Apprentice.

[Ashheart]

'Yes, figured the antidote myself," Majicspirit meowed putting the herbs back and putting the leech up.

Pinepaw nodded. "Yeah, stupid snake tricked me and I bit it's head," she mewed softly and nodded.
