Ah boredom. It was the very thing local Valley County buisnesses thrived on. Whenever a "wild" teen would get bored they'd hit up the local club or mall, especially in the 'rich district'. Unfortunately for the local Valley County buisnesses and Aurora Anderson alike, it was still a weekday and the only place Valley High included to cure serious boredom was the Student Union.
In most of the teenagers' minds, there was no better place in the school. In Rory's mind, there was no more boring place. She'd much rather be making up a new potion or working on her spells. But atleast it offered a few hours of blissful silence, something she rather enjoyed. How long it would stay that way though, no one could be sure.
As usual, her ipod earphones were in her ears, the music practically full blast. Instead of playing a game of pool or one of the arcade games, she was seated criss-crossed in a large chair, her laptop out in front of her. Her fingers flew over the computer keyboard, the tap-tap-tapping sound echoing loudly in the empty room. It wasn't uncommon to find her writing in her spare time, though lately there had been less and less time. Luckily, the empty student hangout gave her the perfect time and place to get some writing in. Why did she need to learn about the Civil Rights Revolution? She had lived it.
With a sigh she glanced up, her oceanic gaze going to the large window across the room. After a few seconds her light eyes went back to her laptop, though her hands just sat there limp. She stared for a moment, her eyes transfixed on the screen as her mind wandered. There were so many other places she'd rather be. She spent most of her time she were wishing she was anywhere but Valley County. For someone easily bored, small town life was horrid, even when you were the leader of a witch coven. Sure with Jaiden and Marcus around there was always plenty of drama, but it got old after about a hundred years.
The entire time she sat there writing and typing, her mind was tuning out the music. Infact, she was only half paying attention to the lines she was writing, only realizing this as she wrote the same line for the fifth time.
(ooc) Okay! None of that made a lick of sense but oh well. No coffee + boredom = horrid posts.
