Alicia and a couple of her other cheerleader friends walked into At The Hop. The first home basketball game was just over, and of course their team had won. They couldn't be more excited. They were all bouncy and giggly for the small diner, but hey, what could the people there say? They would be the same way. None of the basketball players had come along because of the after party at the captain of the basketball team's house. The four girls weren't up for a party tonight, so they decided to come out and eat. They were usually the life of the party too. Like 99% of the time they were the ones throwing the parties, or havinng the best times. But tonight just wasn't a party night. The four girls waited at the Please Wait To Be Seated sign for someone to come and seat them. They were all laughing and having a good time and just knew they'd probably get asked to leave, but if they did they'd just go to the party. That would be perfectly fine with them. But they'd all enjoy a nice little plate of food.
Finally, an elderly woman about the age of 65 came to greet them. How many will there be girls. She smiled at them. Oh there's just gonna be four of us tonight. Skipped the after party. She smiled at her and giggled as they walked to their table. Well, can I go ahead and take you girls order. Or at least get a drink? Alicia knew what she wanted so she glanced at the others. They shook their head and various 'yes's' came from the table. Yeah, I think we're ready. Umm, I want a water to drink. And to eat I want a salad with Italian dressing and a side of french fries and onion rings please. She knew her order was weird. But they had no idea. The though of a hamburger just made her sick. She couldn't eat it. The other four girls ordered hamburgers or hamburger steak. The waitress looked at the Alicia, You don't want a hamburger or something else sweetie? She looked at her. Alicia smiled, Oh, no thanks. I'm a vegitarian. She hated when people asked her why she didn't eat meat. She always told them the same thing. Animal Cruelty. That was half of it, but they had no idea what she had been through, and she'd never tell them. She hadn't ever told anyone and didn't plan on it.
They all talked about the game and the win and everything that had happened. They didn't seem to care that they were being to loud. Alicia was a good girl and didn't like to cause trouble. Most of the time anyway, but they were having a good time. Soon, their food arrived and they began eating. Katie always asked Alicia why she didn't eat meat. And she never really wanted to lie to her. See Katie was Alicia's best friend. Had been since Alicia moved up here. She was her first friend up here. They ate their food and walked out of the restaraunt. So, who's ready to party? Alicia said and smirked at the same time. She made a whooping yell and knew, this was goning to be a fun night.
