Hrenan had come to get drunk, no point in denying it. She was already halfway down her first beer, attempting to null the conplete and utter terror inside her. Her hands were plainly shaking as she picked up her drink to take another sip, but her face was hard and steady, as always. Her face never looked afraid... Or hadn't yet.

Hrenan jumped at the touch, and looked into a face that for some reason gave her a chill down her spine. There was an obvious mental battle as Hrenan fought her "Run" instinct. It was only a young woman, and a pretty one. The ones that were pretty in a conventional sense were always safe in Hrenan's experience. Slowly, Hrenan's hands stopped shaking. Still not responding she brushed some hair from her eyes and looked into those of the mystery woman. Before there had been fear, but now that she was calm Hrenan became innately more trusting. As she always did when frightened in a relatively safe environment.
"Well," She whispered, her sentences stopping periodically while she was overcome by fear, "I don't know why... but the institute. They sent a man to control my mind. I don't know how but... Oh god... He looked exatly the same after five years... Oh my god they're going to kill me... And..." She pulled up her hair to show the thin cut where the chip had entered her head. "He fired some sort of device into my brain"
She stopped speaking abruptly, she was babbling and she knew it. She would have been surprised if this woman had understood what she was saying at all...
"Sorry," She said "I'm just so frightened..."

(OOC: Thanks, and will do)
Hrenan didn't hear the first words the woman spoke, but in the moment that they were said her face went blank for a second. It was, in her mind, as though time had started working like an old film for a moment. Every action and every motion that she had seen a moment before was slightly further along. Due to her acute senses, Hrenan noticed all of this. She didn't pay it much attention though, as little lapses where you blink and something has happened aren't that rare. This one was a little odd though, she was pretty positive she hadn't blinked in that moment...
The women had spoken. It took Hrenan a minute to process what she had said having been lost in her own thoughts.
"Yeah sorry," Replied Hrenan, before replying to the question, her voice breaking as she did so "It... It happened this morning..."

Hrenan was surprised at the woman's sudden change in manner. It gave her time to think. Why was this woman, who she didn't know touching her, and inspecting her injuries? And why was she babbling everything that had happened out to this stranger? Hrenan decided just to keep playing along, she began shaking again, but now her fear had vanished. It was replaced by a heightened awareness of her surroundings and quick thinking. Hrenan had reached a point beyond fear, a point where she simply knew that something was up, and she no longer thought consciously, her instincts had taken over. It was as if she, her conscious afraid self, was displaced into the space above her head.
"Yeah, positive, why do you ask?" Replied Hrenan shakily, even her face showed fear now, now that she was trying to look afraid.
Her newly heightened senses perceived the opening of the door, and slow footsteps, slow deliberate ones that had surely not come for a drink or a room. Footsteps, that judging by the leathery squeak of the shoes, belonged to a fancy outfit. Using her peripheral vision, Hrenan saw the man sit at a table without ordering a drink. The casual yet direct way he moved, the attire, and the choice to sit back in the shadowes screamed professional trying to stay undercover... Professional at what though?
Hrenan took another glance and saw that it was the second man, the man she had seen in her head. In completely different attire, yes, but the face was the same. Reality crashed back to Hrenan for a moment and she almost screamed before her instincts took controll again. Her concious self sat, in the place above her head, and hoped to god that this would last and she would not have to take controll of the body untill all of this was done with.

Hrenan's conciseness took control once more, but she was no longer terrified. If this was Eleanor... As in head of The Institute Eleanor, and for now, she was on her side... Hrenan felt quite safe, and ready to jump into action.
"Well I have no idea where to find it... But what I do know is that there have been two portals to it that have appeared to me. They were pearly white kind of swirly, and lead into a metal building. The first appeared in the Mortean Forest. I think that was an accident because nobody came for me until they saw me. THe second was in the forest that's about an hours hike from town. THat one was definitely made as an attempt on my life. I can take you if you want?" Hrenan tried to talk as fast as she could without missing a detail, anything that seemed ordinary to her might make all the difference to a genious such as the one standing in front of her.
(OOC: I will, I usually follow in rp unless I am specifically designated to lead something or everyone else is shying off)

Wow! was Hrenan's first thought when she saw Eleanor again. Somehow a change of clothing moved her from a pretty woman to a confidant person who would easily be in charge of any situation they were put in in the eyes of Hrenan. She ran to catch up with Eleanor as she left the inn, taking her place a step ahead to lead the way. (OOC: http://z9.invisionfree.com/FaW_roleplay/in...showtopic=267... And okay, I know it is still there.)
