Nice to see a new Phantom discussion board created,I like this set up more than the Yahoo type.

I'll introduce myself,my name is Dave,I worked on F-4's from 1987 to 1991 with the Indiana Air National Guard(181st TFG),started off on F-4C's then our unit transitioned to F-4E's 1988.Our unit then went to the F-16C(Block 25,then to Block 30's)and I crewed Vipers until 2004(I retired after 22 years service.

Here are a few pictures of my units F-4's.

Welcome Dave (sorry if i took your name technicily I don't deserve it) well you member #2 next to Scarface2U. Well I guess I havnt introduced myself either, I'm Mike and yes believe it or not I'm not out of High School yet, but one of my favorite aircraft is well, the McDonell Douglas F-4 Phantom. So that is how I got my name. But, I did "serve" in the Civil Air Patrol (C.A.P.) for 1 year. I had to drop it though due to the fact I could not make my squadrens meetings. But I did get something out of it, last summer (not this summer) I went to Otis Air Force base (just before it closed) and was at the Massachusetts Wing 2005 Summer Encampment 190th Cadet Training Group (Alpha Flight). I got to see some UH-60 Black Hawks up close, and see one take off, saw F-15C Eagles every day, rode on a C-130 Hercules, went to N.O.R.A.D. and went to the Coast Gaurd section, saw a HH-60J Jayhawk and a Falcon Jet. So thats the closest to the military I've been. Thanks for joining!!! Also I guess its just proper for me to say, Thank you for serving for our country!!! Welcome aboard Mr. Dave!!!
