Has anyone read this book? After delving into the Lord of the Flies, I read a piece which compared it to the Catcher in the Rye, and I found the premise to be intresting. Holden reminds me of Clint Wilson from Stubble, at least in Clint's early days.
Could anyone give me some insight? |

It's been a few years since I read that book and did some analytical papers on it. As far as I remember, Holden's overall goal is to somehow preserve the innocence of children from the harshness of reality. I could be wrong though.

Wait a second Vicentil, you know Josh Mirman? If so, that's awesome! I read his other comic "Punks and Nerds". I'm currently checking out Stubble. So how do you know Josh?

Hardly.
We've only spoken twice. Back when TRHQ was up though, he was like a forum whore. But of course nobody remembers or is allowed to remember that site. Josh told me to get a tablet. Punks and Nerds is incredible. I talked to his friend Ian a lot more. Ian likes magic. imagic5 used to be his screen name. shwaaa |

Ian Comix is really funny. Is that the same guy? If so, that's quite cool man.

Most pointless book. Ever. (IMHO)
I had to read it for english, and i could barely keep my eyes open (unlike 'To kill a mockingbird', which i actually DID fall asleep readin it). The stupidest part was when he was with Sonny, or got her, as if a kid that's 13 can get in as 22. Yeah right. And i'm Edgar Newbower. And this book is supposed to bring forth the theme "Change". |

Nah, Ian Comix is Ian Jones Quartey - RPG World.
There's like 6 of them. |
