Updates and Announcements
May 25 : I know it's been a minute for updates. I apologize. But really, cut me some slack, it been hectic lately and more than anything, the internet is a problem. Honestly, I didn't think internet this slow existed anymore. It literally takes anywhere from 5-20 seconds for EVERY SINGLE PAGE to load. When you think about how often you click around the web, that slows things down a lot. So in the next couple of days I'll be doing some major work with the site, but still, like I said, cut me some slack.

Also notice the season has been changed and it is now fall.

May 9 : The Roll Call is over and all the characters that did not reply have been deleted. Unfortunately, in my fury of deletion, I think I may have deleted some new members that hadn't gotten a chance to reply yet. If that is the case for you, I sincerely apologize, please feel free to resign up. It was not my intention to delete any of the new members.
But, for those of you that were not new and did not reply you have been deleted. You are welcome to rejoin but we do expect activity here. Thank you.
One last thing, a semi-major announcement can be found here.

May 1 : Go here. It's a roll call for the site, if you don't reply in one week, your account is gonna go kaput.

Happy Birthday to Me!! Sorry guys. Ha. But it's my BIRTHDAY! Whoooooooot. So I replied to one of my threads, but the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry. But, rest assured, I don't work until 5 tomorrow, so they'll be up. I promise.

Our World.

Many years have passed since the last humans walked on the face of the earth. An experimental virus escaped a primary disease research center many years ago and quickly became airborne. The virus destroyed human life. Thanks to the mobility of humans at the time, the virus spred worldwide and the population was devastated. Thankfully, the humans seemed to be the only organisms who had a deadly reaction. The canines on the other hand, did react unusually to the virus, though no fatal reactions have been reported in the many years the virus has been active.

Most canines react mildly. The vast majority of wolves exhibit unusually colored or patterned fur. Similarly, often times small patches of fur, occasionally whole coats, will grow in significantly longer or thicker than average. More unusually, some wolves react strongly to the virus and can grow various sized horns, antlers, or spike like protrusions. Very few, with extreme exposure to the virus, and many generations of highly affected wolves, have developed wings, though almost all remain flightless. Even more unusually, some wolves remain entirely unaffected by the virus, and retain the characteristics of their ancestors. The variations seen with the virus’s mutations are truly endless. Wolves are no longer surprised by anyone or anything they have seen.

Since the humans are no longer the dominant species on the earth, nature is engaging in a rewilding. There are reminants of the past civilizations in various locations but they are beginning more and more to resemble the wild. The wolves are taking back over in the northern part of the North American continent and two new packs have begun forming...
