Meh. It's ok. Group: Mayors Posts: 45 Member No.: 1 Joined: 13-August 06 |
A small pond with duckweed and cordgrass surround this peaceful and clean pond. It has ducks occasionally, and is covered by an obsidian-like wall on the northern side. A select place to go swimming, or just to relax nearby.

IC: Dipping her toes in the icy waters, Ryelle felt her mind give a little spark, and her head cleared, the extra thoughts provided by her walk in the mountains and the edges of town melting away to a hidden place in her mind to be dug up at a later time. Even though it was spring, and a gentle, warm breeze was blowing, Ryelle felt it too cold to go swimming, and felt content just to sit by the waters, splashing her feet around. Then again... Splash! Ryelle was in the water, clothes and all. This should take care of the risk factor today. Ryelle felt relieved-she had been itching all day to do something, anything at all. Jumping into an icy pond was perfect. Swimming around a little, cursing her pants and the fact that they weighed her down so much, Ryelle headed over to the obsidian wall on the other side. It took a little while, but soon Ryelle was moving swiftly along, letting her pants gather air bubbles to boost her speed. Finally reaching the other side and managing to struggle through the persistant cord grass, Ryelle was hard-pressed to make her way up the obsidian wall. Eventually, she found some hand-holes and made her way up the the low-top, only to dive off again. Fun. Ryelle thought grimly to herself, looking for perhaphs a higher ledge to dive or simply jump off of. None were to be found though, and Ryelle pushed the need out of her mind, and was soon floating on her back, enjoying the spring sunshine. The warm breeze chilled her some, and occasionally Ryelle would dip back under the once chilly waters for warmth. |
