Mackinaw Trip, 1999

Im pretty sure I skipped all of that...because I cant remember it at all...I think I got lost with Matt or Jaye or something....

i lucked out....if i ducked down just right, luke, gabe, and scott blocked the show. of course, i still had to listen....

Lol. That show was freaky!

I remember (for some reason or another) I was sitting with Jason Schultz and some other people at the table. We were to be on our best behavior and I was all proud of myself for using the correct forks and whatnot.. and I look over and there's Jason, using a fork to eat his soup or something equally silly. He said he was doing it to piss people off.. god I miss that guy.

AND! I remember very distinctly that show that Nutting took us to. It was a hollywood revue or something, and they did the stripper scene from.. some damned movie and the girl was all on a chair, and pulled a chain and water came down on her. And there was another part where there were people (obviously) "subtly" having sex in a bathroom or something similar.

Good times...

I have the Blue's Show on tape in Gabe's basement!

i'm pretty sure i have the means if someone has the tapes....

Does anyone have the means to copy our old shows from video to dvd? I'm sure that someone out there still has them on tape!

awww. Thats still my fav show. I talk about it all the time. What I would give for a video of it...

that show was so amazing. i wish i had it (and the others) on tape.

the field we performed our show on (ie parking lot) was a quarter of the size of the actual marching field.....we were in the audiences faces. i remember looking at this one guy during the part where the colorgaurd did the mock flag presentation to the widow and he was bawling...i started to cry....it was sad

I don't remember the napkin thing... I don't think there were any adults at our table. But then again, I wouldn't remember correctly anyway

Hmmm....I don't remember anyone getting yelled at by a waiter. I remember the waiter putting someone's napkin in their lap though! Was that you Bel or Jenny? Was I sitting at a table with adults? I think I remember them watching me like hawks the whole time because of the horses. What would we do without our band moms?

The Grand Hotel. It had the longest balcany, either in the US, or the world... Not sure. It did until an apartment building in ER decided (I don't know if they really did it or not) to challange it. I remember trying to play the piano at the Hotel, but I was so nervous I couldn't find the right key and it sounded terrible. I wanted to die. Didn't someone get yelled at by the waiter? All I remember is something about hitting...

Oooh. It was like Hollywood or something, right? And all the women were half naked?

I remember being stuck outside that really fancy hotel waiting to have dinner and they put me next to a horse and I was freaking out but the rep wouldn't let me move. I thought I was going to die! What was the name of that hotel anyway?

remember that show nutting took us to see? the one that was kind of risqué?

(It was '99, right?)

Okay, so the biggest compliment I ever heard about our band:

Sometime after our marching performance, a guy from another band came up to us while we were walking through Mackinaw and asked if we were from the ERHS band. When we said yes, he said that he'd seen our performance and his opinion was:

"Shhhhiiiiiittttt!"

Lol. That's a heck of a compliment.
