hear is a idea you can use a harley trike rear end it would make things easy
and super heavey duty,nothing to worry about,this should solve the problems . $1395.00 for this one

Jr comp axle

This is what a couple of us are running, well not me yet , but it's what I have . had a chromoly axle built and came in a good bit under those axles.

those are nice, can you get them in 5 lug hubs i have looked on the website that carries these mini midget axles i did not see 5 lug hub.
these trike rear ends are ready to go and can take a beating .you might have to get them narrowed at least one of them.

I don't know if you can get 5 lug, call the guy, He is a really nice fellow.
These are 1 3/4 27 spline if that helps.
