There will be flyers made up, passed out at the tracks and posted on the website full of your sponor or personal info with a donation of $80.00 increments. Really, if we think about it, what are the pro and cons of this? Pros: AMA will receive $60.00 per year from our members that race at any of the 3 AMA tracks. AMA will receive the normal weekend gate fee of $40.00 - $50.00 per crew. UMDRA will race for a purse of %100 payout to the final 4 all ready established by AMA @ $115.00 per UMDRA racer. UMDRA class will use a points system already established and used by AMA (Sportsman) for easy scoring done and tracked by AMA. (if not then we can do it) UMDRA will supply our own championship points purse. ($1700.00 as of date) UMDRA will supply our own trophies and plaques AMA is spending no money, but is allowing us to race at 3 of their races in 2010 with a max of a 16 car field. This benefits AMA and UMDRA. We will be a sanctioned class. Cons: Car count. I believe with AMA agreeing to this, our car count should/will go up with better advertising and something set in stone. Eric, Well written. I have only one question. I don't understand this part. Wait, nevermind, I do. It's the points for raceday. I edited your post just a little.
The car count will come. -------------------- Craig Hairston

Someone thought of only paying out the top 8, expectations and motivation would be a little higher this way.
I have changed it to the Top 8 championship points payout. -------------------- My opinions are just that, mine and in no way reflects anyone or anything from the sites.
