Hi Folks, First let me introduce myself. I'm the crewchief/mechanic/co-driver/problemsolver for Vance61's Tuttle Calif-mini. I have been following this website long before it was UMDRA. I have gleaned alot of helpful info from all of you. But I can't find much info on how you have your linelocks setup. We are getting tired of redlighting on windy days and have purchased a hurst linelock. Interested in tried and true opinions, like how you set it before launch, release it with microswitch on clutch pedal?, Arm switch on steering wheel, etc.... We have a hand brake on the right side, electric shift button on steeringwheel. Thanks

My linelock is tied parallel to my two-step and air clutch release. If you don't use air or some other means to release your clutch then a switch on your clutch pedal will work fine. Just be sure that the two-step (if you are using one) shuts off just before the clutch engages. Otherwise the engine will bog.

On our GSXR, we tied it to a steering yoke switch that tripped a relay for both the 2 step release and the rear brake soleniod.

Off the stutter box....
and brake was released.
