Hidden deep in the Sero Mountains, comes the darkest evil in all of Deltaos. Here, the Knights of Rellia, along with all the other members of The Destruction, are planning to overtake the citizens of Deltaos and bring them into the dark. The Destruction is a group of all creatures who believe darkness can rule the light. Those who believe everything should be peaceful are still fighting and standing strong. They somehow manage to defeat the enemies that the Knights of Rellia forge. Although, those good people do not know what lies in the center of the Sero Mountains.

The Destruction does not only consist of the Knights of Rellia. It contains Lupusfemella, Elves, Winged, Dragons, even Humans and Tamers. The Tamers do not choose to be apart of The Destruction. They are brought to the center of the Sero Mountains to tame the Dragons. The Dragons love to pick on and fight their Tamers. It's the only fun they can get. When the Dragons misbehave themselves, they are sent to the dungeons deep beneath the city to create weapons and armor for the Knights of Rellia. But what if a Dragon did not choose to be apart of this war?

A young Dragon named Valkan had been punished for something, and he was not quite sure why. He was working in the scalding hot dungeons for almost two weeks now, forging swords, shields, and other weapons. He doesn't get any pay, and he was allowed a small meal a day. Still, he manages to keep his strength and his spirits high. But now he was thinking of escaping. He was coming up with a plan to take some weapons with him out to freedom, and to a new life. He'd be able to run free without being punished for it.

If he were to fail, he would probably never see the light again. The thought of him failing made his courage grow stronger, but it made his heart grow weak. Right now he was about to collapse from the heat. An Elf behind him swung a large hammer, intending to hit the heated steel. Instead it flew out of his hand and struck Valkan in the head. He did collapse, and he held onto the unfinished sword and hammer in his hand. On his back were strapped a few long pieces of steel that were to be made into swords.

Valkan fell to the ground as he heard someone yell,"We got another one over here!" Of course Valkan couldn't understand what he had said, but he knew he was talking about him. Two Lupusfemella rushed to his side and picked him up like he was a ragdoll. They carried him up the spiralling stone stairs to the top of the tower. Valkan still had the sword, hammer and steel with him. The two gaurds seemed distracted by something so they didn't notice. They carried him down corridors and through many large rooms. Finally they reached a small room at the top of the tower. They tossed Valkan in there with the rest of the skeletons and corpses. This is were they put those who have proven no more use to The Destruction. Once they closed the door, leaving Valkan alone, he opened his eyes and took in the new scenery.

'I don't believe it!' he thought to himself,'The first part of my plan actually worked!'

Illia scratched her way through the mass of creatures, she was on nobodies side, was her own leader and fit right in where she was. Dragons were chained up, she hated that and every so often, descretly freed one or two.

She scaled the side of a building and nearly threw up when she entered, the smell was the first thing to hit her, then the sight, all those dead bodies were just piled up there. Tears streamed from her eyes. "Grah!!!" she growled in dragon, she walked to a dragon youngling, dead, she thought, and stroked its scales... 'I'm so sorry, had I gotten there sooner, I would have freed you too' she growled in dragon.

Valkan thought he was alone in the Room of Bodies, as he called it now. Apparently he was mistaken. He looked up to see an unfamiliar creature standing over him. He jumped to his feet and took a swing at the intruder with an empty hand as he quickly roared at it. He growled as a warning as he slowly backed away, waiting for it to make a wrong move. 'This is not part of my plan!' He thought to himself loudly, giving him a headache. 'They're not supposed to come up here! What is this one doing? Why is it talking to me? It's not my trainer, so whose is it?' Valkan was ready for a fight when he needed to be, and now he was ready. The Dragons here loved to torment their Tamers, and they'd fight other Tamers if they were intruding and the Dragon feels threatened. Valkan was trying to escape to freedom, and this creature before him was only getting in his way, so he decided he would change that. 'It's either I take it down or it comes with me,' he finally agreed to himself quitely.

Right now, Valkan had been intruded by an unfamiliar Tamer, and he felt threatened.

Illia growled, 'STOP AT ONCE, I'M NOT HERE TO HURT YOU! I'M HERE TO FREE YOU' she screamed in Dragon Tongue. She stared at this violent beast, 'what did they do to you here...to make you like this?' she asked, this poor creature, warped by all evil.

Valkan only growled louder at the creature in front of him. It was staring at him like he was some kind sick joke. It yelled at him and told him to stop. 'What am I doing wrong now? I can't help it if it's sneaking up on me and yelling,' he thought to himself, while trying to sned her the message with his imaginary brain waves. It's now his natural instinct to fight back. When his brain waves failed, he knew what to do. 'I don't go down that easily,' he thought to himself as he leaped for the creature in front of him.

He knocked it down and he landed on top of it. He grabbed it's shoulders with his large hands, ready to launch his claws into its flesh. "Why should I trust you?" He yelled at this creature beneath him. He clenched his teeth. "You don't know what I've been through! What did I do that gives me the opportunity to be freed by a creature such as you?!" He didn' wait for an answer. Someone could have heard screaming and yelling coming from the Room of Bodies, so they must be on their way.

Valkan let go of this intruding creature and acted like it was just another dead body. He picked up the unfinished sword and put it with the rest of the strips of steel on his back. He grabbed the hammer with his other hand and headed towards the door. He leaned his head against it and listened for footprints or the flapping of wings. He could hear nothing. He headed to the window, that was made to release the stench of rotting corpses. Then it hit him.

He stopped and turned. "How did you get in here anyway?"
